I finally decided on the tandoori platter, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Our server, Glorio, was attentive, friendly, and made the meal even more enjoyable. My friend ordered the chicken masala, and after tasting a bit of the sauce with some garlic naan, I can honestly say it was incredible. Everything from the service to the food was top-notch. I will definitely be coming back.”

We also ordered some fresh juice and gosh there’s nothing like it! If you don’t like Mediterranean food still go for the juices!

“New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure”

“The most kind and attentive staff! We called ahead to see if it was hard to get a table of six and they told us it was not and to come on in. We showed up an hour later and they saved us a table. The food was authentic, fresh, hot and delicious. Our table had the lasagne, spaghetti and meatballs, Mr Ed’s special poboy and the stuffed seafood bell pepper. This was the most amazing food we’ve ever had. The hospitality was unmatched. Absolutely perfect! Come here for a good time, great food and exceptional service. “While other wedding cake bakeries told me no to the flavors I wanted, multiple flavors on the different layers, and even the design, Jenny said yes and that's easy. After being told no so many times and tasting dry, flavorless cakes, I was at a loss on where to get a wedding cake. A coworker recommend Sweet Life and I contacted Jenny and we set up a tasting for all the flavors I was interested in. We ended up getting 3 different flavors for the different layers because they were so good that I couldn't choose. Jenny also told me the design I picked out was easy for them to do. The cake was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. I was very glad I asked for pieces of the cake to be brought to our suite so we could try some of the delicious wedding cake since the rest of the cake was eaten at the reception.”

their nigiri sushis are quite large (2x the size of other sushi restaurants) so we eat them in two bites, which feels a bit weird. but their fish is usually very fresh, high quality, and there are so many options to choose from.
i especially recommend the yellowtail, japanese scallop, albacore tuna, and eel nigiri sushis. i also love their salmon skin roll (much simpler than their other rolls and very delicious). sometimes they get really good uni.

Lively conversation with a krewe of local characters. Staff is great and service is fast. They don't serve food, but there is a gourmet pizza place, Radostas po boys, and Hog Alley bar and grill all within a block, they allow you to bring in food. Number of chefs and cooks hang out there, and from time to time bring in a bunch of local grub for a free to all feed. Great place to catch a Saints game with drink specials during the game and free jello shots when the Saints score.”

We were told by the hostess that there was an hour wait and that there was barely anywhere to sit so she advises that we could sit at the bar which we did the sushi bar that is. After waiting for some time Chef Trevor noticed that we were not being really engaged. He then asked me if the kids and I would like something to drink so what you said yes the hostess one of the waiters chef Trevor’s prompting, served us drinks as well as kept our cups filled Thank you! we were very grateful for the kindness that was bestowed upon us. The Hostess. After advising of the long wait, didn’t offer a drink of water nothing. Never engaged, never updated nothing. It was busy so I didn’t panic. We just waited. “New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure”

“I brought my son to the Metairie LA store today at approximately 7:30pm. This is the first time I had an awful experience. I could not even eat my food. I ordered a burger xtra lettuce xtra MOOYAH sauce grilled onions no pickles wheat bun. A family in front of me placed their to dine in and were given a number. A young lady fixed their food with gloves on her hands and brought it to the family and she takes the number from them with the SAME gloves on her hands and proceeds behind the counter to fix the next order. Sliding her gloved hands along the counter. She goes to the grill to work on the next order. She slides the patty off of the spatula on to the bun with the SAME gloved hands. She then puts the fries in the bag but a handful fell on the counter. She picks the fries up off the counter with the SAME gloved hands and puts them in the bag. Calls my name to tell me that my order is ready. I tell her that I do not want it please make my order over. I take it to go when I get home the order is completely wrong!!! I’m so hungry but upset!!! I’ll be calling them tomorrow.”

Our waitress was so sweet and talked with our 4 year old, I wish I would have gotten her name, she left half way through us being there and the waiter that took over was just as sweet! I told him I need them to come open a store in lower Alabama and if not imma have to make the 4-5 hour drive once a month just for the pizza😂”

He always goes above and beyond every time I am in there. Not just with me but with everyone I see him interact with!
