“My wife and I have really grown to love the Metairie Carrabba’s. When it originally opened years ago, we went once and were not impressed so despite leaving nearby we never went back. A friend mentioned it maybe 6-months ago and she swore it was pretty good so we gave it another chance and we are glad we did. We now maybe go 3 times or so a month. We had one problem with a server lately and I asked for a manager and Blake promptly solved the issue and took care of us the rest of the night. The food has always been very good, the service pretty quick and the bar service very good too. Our two favorite servers are Mel and Sara but with the exception of that one night the service has always been great too. I recommend Carrabba’s for a dinner for two or a small group of friends. Their “wine dinners” are also a hit for us. It’s nice to have somewhere close to home that you know is rock solid on the food & service. Thanks to Blake and his team!”

“So technically wasn't aiming to come here, but my navigator got confused(again). This is the second time I've ended up at a sushi restaurant that was not where we originally agreed upon. As long as it's good I'm always down for sushi though. They are more of a modern style sushi, with mostly specialty rolls to fit every appetite. I like how you can get half orders of some of their specialty rolls which we took advantage of. I know there was a kush and a bobby roll, a Ryan roll(?) and can't remember the last one, plus seaweed salad and salmon skin roll. Everything was excellent, especially the kush and bobby rolls. I can't believe I somehow ended up with mostly soy wrap rolls but I did. Even being a traditionalist to the point of snobbish, I was really wowed by these. My salmon skin was excellent too. The Sapporo was ice cold, almost slushy. So good on a secretly hot day in October. BUT being the sushi snob that I am, I have to admonish them for no mackerel. If you can't feed my saba addiction, you won't get my undying love and admiration.

SIN night is Monday night. So when your bar closes and you ready for a drink, come to Colby's they're still. No bad vibes or Time out you get.”

I got the lg rib plate with the add on chicken wings and my husband got the 1/2 chicken and we shared to try it all and man when I say it was amazing it was amazing. The sweet potato casserole was so good. The green beans where just alright but the corn, macaroni and cheese and the baked beans were really and did I say really good. Thanks for not disappointing us we drove two hours to get there and will 100% be back sooner rather than later.”

“THIS IS THE BEST PHO I HAVE EVER TRIED IN NEW ORLEANS/METAIRIE. the price for starters is so fair, not $16-$18 starting prices like most places. but it’s beyond that. the pho itself is life changing. the broth is the richest, most flavorful liquid i have ever consumed. every bit of flavor is tasted and appreciated. whoever makes this pho needs to live on forever and become an ethereal immortal being to serve this for all eternity. not to mention i live 20+ mins away the the broth was still so hot! had no issues cooking my meat. really good portion size too and didn’t charge for xtra sauce. will be putting all my friends on this place. 100/10”

Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure”

“We were greeted pleasantly and seated quickly. Our waitress’s name was MaKayla and she was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable and helpful with wine selections and tasting. We loved that it was Vino Thursday so we ordered a bottle (half price). We started off with the roasted Brussels sprouts appetizer and it was delicious. I’m not usually a Brussels sprout person but these were so good! I’d definitely order them again. My husband got the Marsala. He was very pleased as this is a favorite dish of his. I tend to be very, very picky about Alfredo but this was one of the best I’ve tasted. It was rich and creamy with just the right taste! The panéed chicken was tender, almost melt in your mouth, and very flavorful. The wine MaKayla suggested paired beautifully with both our entrees. To end the evening we ordered the tiramisu. It was heaven! I love tiramisu and was not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and had a very comfortable feel to it. I loved the light blue colors. It felt relaxing and inviting. Overall 5 stars!!!”

We were told by the hostess that there was an hour wait and that there was barely anywhere to sit so she advises that we could sit at the bar which we did the sushi bar that is. After waiting for some time Chef Trevor noticed that we were not being really engaged. He then asked me if the kids and I would like something to drink so what you said yes the hostess one of the waiters chef Trevor’s prompting, served us drinks as well as kept our cups filled Thank you! we were very grateful for the kindness that was bestowed upon us. The Hostess. After advising of the long wait, didn’t offer a drink of water nothing. Never engaged, never updated nothing. It was busy so I didn’t panic. We just waited. Chef Trevor was very attentive. Updating and very engaging! He made our visit a pleasure. Thank you Chef Trevor! I hope that you were able to Kater Annex sushi party!❤️❤️❤️”

The table surface appeared dull from age, but two wipes from my clean napkin revealed the table had a brown residue. as I stated earlier; the food is excellent; but for the extremely high prices they charge, (1 small, 1 large shrimp poboy, 1 large onion ring, 2 medium drinks $42.00 for lunch) there should be clean tables. Oh.. .one more thing have your drink vendor (Coca Cola) change out those old dingy 2019 LSU and Mardi Gras banners. Again... the food was good! $42.00? If you're looking to "take out", that might be a better option. Unfortunately, doing that won't give you that fresh-out of the kitchen tasting food. $42.00??”

“New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure”
