This is my second time here. First time, my party was turned away because we didn't have a reservation and they were booked up so decided to try them a second time around. Here are the results: PROS: friendly staff, honored our personal request, parking in the area appears abundant and didn't see any meter maids roaming around, a lot of drink options available, and gumbo was delicious and should be offered as an entree if possible. CONS: their famous charbroiled oysters were full review

Fist stop for a first time L.A. visitor. Decent experience with very friendly bartenders and oyster shucker. Chargrilled oysters by far better than Drago's which I wouldn't recommend. Drinks are very good with an ample selection of alcohol at the bar along with some very well presented and tasting dishes. A tad hard to find but this place deserves to be put on the map as a spot to stop.

A bit pricey, but totally worth it! My friend and I accidentally found this place and thought the food looked really good online, so we made a reservation via Open Table. We got in, but for a Tuesday night, they were bumping! Food: We shared everything, and that was plenty for two people. We ordered the gumbo, BBQ shrimp, oysters bienville as appetizers. Absolutely phenomenal. There was also the bread that melted in your mouth and a chef’s special that I have no idea what full review
