She helped us guide our way through pretty strict dietary needs. They talk about southern hospitality, she nailed it. If we ever drive this way again, we'll be sure to come back! “When in Alexandria, I highly suggest taking the time to indulge yourself at Mikado Sushi and Steakhouse. You will not be disappointed. This is that one in a million hole in the wall places we usually can only hope to find...and worth every moment. My server Erica was sharp, attentive, and a wonderful young lady, doesn't get any better than her. The Seaweed Salad was spot on, but the extra surprise was the finely sliced cucumber bed beneath the salad. Great extra touch. The Sushi was amazing. But the true winner was the Sashimi....Salmon, Tuna, White Tuna, White Fish, Yellowtail, and Abacore...all large thick slices and lots of it. The Sushi Chef really did a nice job. This is definitely a must go to restaurant for those who love Japanese cuisine. Hot Sake and Sapporo Beer were just icing on the cake. “The wife and I needed a date night and after not being able to decide where we wanted to go we found this place. They were a warm welcome from the moment we walked in. The owner came around and interacted with everyone, and the DJ was awesome as well. He got out on the floor and danced with people, and took requests. We danced, drank and visited with people, the whole time. It was awesome!And you can't forget about the dog, visiting with everyone on a tailgate made into a bench for him. He was a guys PTSD service dog and it just made it even more of a welcoming experience even better.”

“I absolutely love fire house subs. This is my favorite location the staff is so friendly. My subs are always fresh and my son loves to get his fireman hat. I highly recommend this place. Beats subway any day of the week.”
