“Based on the recommendations gave Cou-yon's Cajun Bar-B-Q a try. When I arrived I met Kelani who gave me some ideas on what to try…so I ordered the Smoked Sausage Appetizer with smoky sauce and Crawfish Étouffée Over Dirty Rice with Fried Shrimp. The sausage was pretty good but not very “smoked”, the flavor closer to kielbasa and when you added the smoky sauce was a nice appetizer. The Crawfish Étouffée had solid flavor, a little kick, and the rice was a great compliment to the dish. The fried shrimp breading was nice and light, it did not overpower the shrimp flavor and was a nice addition to the dish. I also observed some of the BBQ they had being served and it looked pretty good. The ladies sitting across from me got ribs and there was no need for a doggie bag. Overall good Cajun food and excellent service from the staff there.“

“The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. Kind of food you travel a bit to get to. I’ll put up with the negatives if that’s indicative of the rest of their menu.“
