“I wasn't expecting much in a small town but I was DEFINITELY surprised. The bad first...I was expecting sweet tea with a little tea and a lot of sugar. It was just sweet tea. I ordered gumbo for the appetizer and it was a little spicy but good. Ok, now the GOOD! I ordered the Triple Play Platter: oysters, catfish, and shrimp. The platter was huge, see the picture. I was not expecting this much. The shrimp were huge. The oysters were a bit spicy but nothing to complain about. The tartar sauce has to be homemade bc it was delicious. We also ordered the shrimp and grits and it was a platter by itself. See the picture. Overall, if I'm ever in St Francisville again, I will definitely stop by The Francis. Awesome food!Parking: Let's just say that you may have to be creative in finding a parking spot on a Friday night around 7PM.“

“We found this cafe on our way home from Baton Rouge. It is definitely a little diamond in the rough.We must’ve gotten there at the peek of lunch rush because it was packed. Despite the busyness, the staff were very attentive to us; and the environment was clean and lively.For lunch we got the Spicy Shrimp Poboy and the French Dip Poboy. They were immaculate. They were both rich and the heat of the Shrimp Poboy was just right.“

There aren't many food options and we knew we did not want fast food, so we decided to check out Que Pasa. It doesn't look like a Mexican restaurant, so we were a bit hesitant at first. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and my cousins shared some chicken and shrimp nachos. The food was good in our opinion. Our waitress was very nice, our food came out fresh, and we weren't waiting forever.“

“We've been to East Dragon a few times when we are in the mood for Chinese food, but don't want to leave the area. The food is made fresh and is good. It's not the best I've ever had, but if you're in the mood for Chinese food that is fresh, not a buffet, they are a good place to go. I've had several items on their menu and have never been disappointed.“
