“Today, I, together with a group of friends from Baton Rouge and Central, visited this, my favorite Albasha Restaurant, for lunch. Two of us ordered Lentil soup, it came out cold and salty. Two of my friends order the chicken shawarma plate and their food was also cold. None complained, as we had a very nice and friendly waitress. I tried to call the manager later to let him know, instead of posting this review, but I could not get him in the phone.“

“Great experience! Always have had great service when we've come, but special shout out to our server today, Cindy, for being extra awesome!! And the food was exceptional! We got the special louisiana menu, the gumbo pizza, crawfish bread, and peach dessert pizza. All of it was delicious, but the gumbo pizza and peach dessert was INCREDIBLE!!! the peach dessert especially should definitely be added to the regular menu!“

“It was our first time in town celebrating our anniversary And Paige explained the menu very knowledgeably, she suggested pretty much what we order and dessert too. She also took her time to be our guide through new Orleans for some good time and suggested places for us to visit in the stay.“

“I have been going here for years. Authentic food and the best I’ve EVER had outside of someone’s house. The owner is so sweet and really remembers you. Such good food it’s like someone home cooked it for you. Made with love. We are so lucky to have lees around. My favorite is the spicy beef cabbage.“

On my last visit, which was on Friday, April 26, 2024, I ordered the boiled crawfish with corn on the cob and boiled potatoes. I must say, they were simply perfect! The way they seasoned and cooked the crawfish was so exceptional that I jokingly thought about adopting the chef! Every time I go, I'm reminded why it's one of my favorite spots. Give Duke's a try—you won't regret it, and you might just discover your new go-to restaurant.“

“The Asian almond shrimp entree was great. A dozen butterflied shrimp tails fried to perfection with an amazing sauce. I loved the braised greens as well. The shrimp and grits were well liked by the three people in our party that ordered it. The duck was fantastic. Our server went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Really can't say enough good things about this establishment.“

“My husband and I just dined in at about 12:30am 10/30/23and everyone from the cook to the waitresses were outstanding. Food was awesome and came out fast. Everyone was on point. Cook was washing his hands in between orders and wearing gloves at all times.Waitress was attentive . I was highly impressed and left full and happy. We Tipped both, the cook and waitress because both did their thing..Shout out to this overnight crew.“

“I'm in here at least 3 times a month. I like the food and they're always fast and I've never ever gotten a wrong or messed up or forgotten order from them. Only thing is, their card says they're 7 days a week but inside it says they close on Tuesdays. And when you call on Tuesday, you get no recording that says they are closed.“

“I have to say the customer service is great! Food is usually excellent when it's fresh out of the oven, and they keep the chicken pizzas stocked on buffet. Mac & cheese would have to be one of their signature specialty pizzas that is great for my cheese lovers, or families that have children. They always make sure that buffet is maintained and requests were kept up with. Promptness of service is a way this location can improve though, and the arcade is always excellent! “I have never been so full in my life! I needed to try some cuisine from Louisiana: gumbo, seafood étouffée, and jambalaya! So today, after reading some great reviews here on Yelp, I decided to go to Pot & Paddle. The girls that work there were very helpful! In addition to gumbo (no rice), I wanted to try the red beans (no rice), white beans (no rice), and coleslaw. So one of the girls recommended that I get the red bean dinner, as it comes with two sides, and to also get a container of gumbo to go. It was way more food than I actually wanted or needed, I was trying to just get small sides of each thing. But that's okay! It made for a great lunch and then a nice dinner later on! The red beans are absolutely addictive! Just thinking about them now while typing this, and my mouth is watering! The gumbo, white beans, and coleslaw are all equally delicious and definitely worth coming here to order! But there is something about those red beans that make me want to eat there everyday... yummy! The restaurant is clean, modern, and very bright and open. They have a little condiments table with packets of Louisiana hot sauce (two different brands), spices, salt, pepper, etc. I made sure to try both of the hot sauce packets and the spice packet. However, the food here doesn't need it. You know how some places NEED the extra help to liven up the food? Not here, it's already scrumptious!“

“Every time we got a chance to stop by here to eat, there always busy and the parking lot is full but despite them being busy we decided to stop anyways and I’m glad we did. It was both of ours first time eating here at the Juban Crossing location and our experience was super great! Our food was delicious and cooked exactly like we had ordered. “I've been going to this restaurant for roughly 10 years. It is always clean. The food is very reasonably priced and there is a decent variety. The quality is excellent. The family who runs it are always very polite and they take pride in their facility. I've been coming here regularly once a week for almost 7 years now. I can't say enough good things. Highly recommend this Asian buffet if you were in the area. The hot and sour soup is fantastic as well as the chicken with peanut sauce. It's not a fancy asian restaurant and it was never meant to be. It's just a small place run by a family. I will continue to come here.“
