“Driving across country from Cali to GA with my daughter and she had never experienced soul food in the south. Stopped here and had shrimp poboys, her first one ever...and it tasted just like I remember when I was a kid growing up in New Orleans! A special moment my daughter will never forget, and she keeps asking to go back again! Guess we gotta plan another road trip! This place is worth it! ??“
“This is the perfect neighborhood restaurant! The catfish are fresh and fried to perfection; crispy on the outside, white and flakey inside. The fries are crispy home-style, slightly seasoned, but not heavily. The side salad has mixed greens and cherry tomatoes and is a generous serving. The restaurant is in an established neighborhood and is very casual. Others at my table were very happy with their selections included fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and a shrimp poboy. There service was great and we were able to talk to the owner as well. We will be back soon too try other menu items. The hamburgerslook great!“
“I would highly recommend Po Boy Express. The po boys are delicious. The roast beef is cooked to perfection. The staff is great. They are super friendly and have great customer service. I cannot say enough about how great this place is. We will definitely be eating here as much as possible.“
“I had the gluten free bread a long time ago, but today it was officially the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had. Not sure if the recipe has changed over the years, but we will be back sooner rather than later. Thank you for offering gluten free. The place was busy which is always good to see at a local establishment. We got our food promptly and it came out correctly. Staff was nice. Highly recommend.“

“Best, most tasty, Chinese food we’ve had in Shreveport in years! We eat Chinese a lot, but our precious favorite place of 20+ years became kinda like “different” ?? leaving us and our money searching for a new favorite place. Been trying out all in the 71105, 71106, and 71115 over the past year. This was the BEST! Chicken meat was good quality and very flavorful. Plenty of nuts in Kung Pain Chicken dish. Excellent lo mein, great flavor. All our dishes were fresh and delish!“

“This location is a drive through, but there is also a small table for two outside a walk up window. It is located directly across from the Cedar Grove library. I ordered a "Humphrey" frozen yogurt and it was very tasty. I have not had sandwiches from this location yet but I have at others and they were also very good!“

“You're probably gonna be a little upset about the prices either way it goes but every ingredient is very fresh. I have to admit that I stopped getting the shrimp in favor of boiled eggs because the shrimp is not deveined. The ManEater is one of my favorite menu salads, but on occasion the consistencies of the meats all together tastes a little weird. I'm sure the non-deveined shrimp throws a lot of people off.The strawberry lemonade tasted like water today.The lemon bars are always fantastic.Very tranquil place to clear your mind though.Friendly staff.Inside was very clean.You really can't find a better place if you're looking for a big and fresh salad, proteins or not.“
“I went to lunch today with my husband for my birthday. The cashier, Ms Ann, was an absolute ray of sunshine! First, she complimented me on how I was dressed, which was my normal work attire, and I had shared that today is my birthday. Miss and proceeded to wish me a happy birthday and call me a Queen! In my opinion, Ms. Ann should be the Jason’s Deli of Shreveport LA mascot! If she was the cashier, every time, I visited the deli, I would come in every single day! “Tasty and affordable tacos. Came during lunch time, it was not busy at all. Had the Baja Slim Tacos. They're not spicy, the beans are tasteless. They really stuff the taco. Fresh tortillas. Wasn't a fan of the Salsa verde (because its not spicy). But the chips & salsa are great. The red salsa is so delicious.Food comes out fast. I like that you order first and then pick a table. Nice atmosphere.Friendly staff, somewhat clean enough bathroom. Would definitely return to try the burritos next time.“
