“We had a great experience here and highly recommend it! We were in town for a wedding and loved our stay here. The Garden View room was so cool with its 11 windows wrapping 3 walls. The bed was super comfy and the window AC worked well, which is crucial for me. Joe was lovely and always available to help. We enjoyed sitting in the living room with some friends before bed. Joes cooked to order breakfast was delicious. I can tell Joe pays attention to detail and it shows. We would gladly stay here again.“

“I've been by before several times over the years & heard good things + have always wanted to try this restaurant, so I'm glad we finally got a chance yesterday! (02/28/24) We went as a party of 3 for lunch. It looked not too busy, which I was happy about. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted by our waitress who was friendly & polite, welcoming us to choose our own seats. We noticed how cozy & quaint it looked as soon as we walked in. We also saw a board with listed specials. One of them was a roast pork meal, another chicken rice soup that I believe you could order with either a grilled cheese or tuna melt. They also had dessert choices listed including a coconut cake. We chose a comfy booth in front of the window. They also had tables with chairs or counter seating available. Our waitress passed out menus once we sat down & took our beverage order. We all ordered coffee, which was served hot & fresh. We were told that we could decide between breakfast or lunch. My fiancé & I went with the soup/sandwich option. We asked for a bowl of the soup to share & planned to split a grilled ham & cheese on homemade herb bread. His cousin who dined with us ordered a breakfast which featured eggs, toast, hash, & home fries. Our food came after a brief wait (not long at all) & portions were plentiful. A few other customers came in during our stay, but it was close to closing time, so they didn't get too many others. Some seemed like "regulars" & I can see why! Our waitress was attentive & sweet, making sure we had enough coffee during our lunch & that we were satisfied with our meals. The food was excellent & prices were very reasonable here. I loved the relaxed, laid back atmosphere that was nicely decorated for St. Patrick's Day, amid Americana decor. We loved the overall experience & look forward to returning. A hidden gem for sure!Kid-friendliness: Definitely family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level/wheelchair accessible“
