“This restaurant has an amazing vibe, great acoustically, great atmosphere, phenomenal staff. That being said the star is the food itself. The flavors are layered perfectly, not over seasoned and displayed artistically. Also, the prices were very reasonable for the value. Can’t wait to go back!!“
“While enjoyable, I came in with higher expectations. I knew going in that the menu was "weird" (maybe unusual is more appropriate?), and after the meal, I pretty much felt the same. I don't feel like the ingredient or cooking choices really came together, and I don't know if it's because farm to table in New England at the start of spring is just unfair, or if this just comes down to the chef's choices. My partner and I shared 4 dishes, and we each got our own dessert. I loved my dessert, but the other one was unbalanced, with too much bitter marmalade. The savory dishes were all fine - but we wondered if the scallops could have been better with a different protein, if the celery root would have been better as a veloute, and if the sauce for the lamb were not so sweet.Still, I think I'd like to come back when the farms in New England have better produce and try again.Kid-friendliness: Not really - this is a place for very adventurous adults“
“Today was our last day in Boston during our four day outing and we were looking for a place to end off our trip with a bang. Did not disappoint!!! The layout and vide of the restaurant is beautiful, perfect for a date night or night out with any loved ones. Our waitress, Shivahni, was amazing! She was very nice and super attentive. For appetizers, we got the cornbread and their croquettes. Both were tasty and had their unique flavors. For entree, both my mother and sister got the mushroom risotto, my father got the scallops, and i got the panini. This has to be one of the best french dip panini's out there. 100% would recommend!!! I wish they had this exact place back in Miami! When we come back, we are totally coming back here :)“
“What an incredible dining experience! Talulla will leave your palette wanting more after experiencing sensational flavors, food composition, restaurant milieu, and the visual beauty of each dish, that is at the heart of Talullas chef and team. The wine list is carefully and creatively curated and from the moment you walk in, this small inviting quaint beautiful space will make you feel like you’re experiencing something different. The house made bread was delicious with a delightful crunch on the crust. We loved the scallop appetizer, ravioli, and beet salad. Everything on the menu looked and sounded amazing and it’s no wonder this restaurants chef is in the running for a James Beard Award and recognition. If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation, definitely check out this place - the food is out of this world!“
“Had a difficult time deciding between 3-4. The reviews on the tasting menu were so great, that’s what our group of 4 ordered. I’m guessing it’s kind of hit-or-miss. None of us were satisfied with the food, and the fish dish was very over-salted. That being said, I do think I’ll be back to try one of their regular menu dishes! Ambience is sweet and warm ✨.“
“We came here for Easter dinner with a group of 4. The seating area is warm and comfortable while still feeling a bit more upscale - a great location for a date night or special occasion. We enjoyed the dishes overall and appreciated that you could get a glimpse into the kitchen from the dining room. What we ordered: - Tuna crudo: Interesting flavors. The fish tasted fresh but could have used some more acidity. - Fried hen-of-the-woods mushrooms: Nice, crisp, and well seasoned. - Sautéed heirloom carrots: The carrots were nicely cooked but the glaze was a bit too sweet. - Seared scallops: The scallops were perfectly seared and paired well with the lentils and sauce. - Phyllo-wrapped cod: We were surprised how crispy this was even though it was sitting in the sauce. The lobster stew was full of flavor. One of our favorites of the night. - Seafood risotto: The risotto was well cooked but the dish could have included more seafood. - Lemon pepper half chicken: The juices of the chicken soaked into the beets to make a delicious bite.“
“First time won’t be the last at Alden & Harlow! From the delicious rum and star fruit inspired cocktails to the array of tapas options it was a tremendous treat!Highly recommend the basil pasta, brussels and secret burger. So good I don’t know whether to order all of these again or continue to explore the menu that seems to be loaded with other great options.Great vibe and beautiful restaurant!“
“Cashew kale Caesar is simply the best! Always fresh ingredients. The staff members are so friendly—They were running low on broccoli (new batch would be out in just a couple min) but I was hungry so I got some brussels instead. However, the kind staff worker went out of his way to deliver broccoli to where I was sitting anyways! Great service, will always come to this location!“
“Definitely an upscale place where people dress up. I was definitely not dressed for the occasion and yet all staff members were still very kind and attentive. It was pretty packed for a Tuesday night but service was still quick and my food was phenomenal! I got the salmon and it was delicious. I also enjoyed my cocktail. I came here in March but could see that they had a beautiful outdoor space. I will definitely be coming back in the summer to sit outside and enjoy this place again.“
“Little Donkey is an absolute gem. We were there for first seating at 10:30 am on a Sunday. Glad we had a reservation since they were very busy and tables we blocked off by 11:20. Our dishes were delicious and came out pretty quickly. Someone at our table had a nut allergy and every dish was brought out with a clearance of the allergy so that incase she wanted to try other dishes, she knew what was safe. The salmon and Tuna Tartar is delicious, but unbelievably small and honestly not worth the $19. We ordered it to hold us over while waiting for friends who were running behind. It is bare 4 actual bites. We learned from our waiter that most of the items we initially wanted were tiny. This is a really cute spot with an open kitchen which is cool to look into, and the bar tender is great at creating new drink concoctions.“
“Great building and a wonderful quaint restaurant is inside. Cozy seating in several small rooms. The menu includes seafood and pastas and more. My date started with the zucchini fritters and then had the fish and chips. I had the kale salad with salmon. My only complaint with my food was the hot salmon wilted the kale. I was just expecting a crisp salad. Not to worry though. Wine was a generous pour. Our waiter, Jeffrey was fantastic. Very attentive. There was live music playing starting at 6 PM which was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Probably best to make a reservation as it's a small space.“
“My bartender this night was Zack. He was intuitive and an informative bartender who brings atmosphere to those around him. The decor is colorful and inviting. Modern lighting, not to bright, but not too dark. Almost a space like atmosphere. Clean, tidy and top notch. The menu is inviting with many choices. Appetizers, meals and even desert...try the Ruben it is mouth watering! Also if Damian is working the kitchen that night your going to end up with the most flavorful meal. He is a master of his skills. I highly recommend the food, drinks and atmosphere.“
“Definitely on the fence for 5 v. 4 stars. It a great space with lots of interesting decor, and the upper floor has a great vibe ...get up there if possible. Service was good; expected for a slow evening. Vibe is nice...not too much TV or music pervading, yet not lacking in some liveliness either...nice touch. Host was great and re-seated to better spot (chairs not stools) was easy. The standard menu (no specials that night) had scallops which were super! Cooked perfectly with the broc rabe also perfect on the side. The risotto, possibly from another school of risotto-thought, was not so. Just OK and seeming under cooked a bit and underwhelming... some umami or like influence would be good/needed. Duck dish was nice...but, they asked if medium rare is OK which it is! and should be. It was a precut set portion of tiny fillets which is great ( tho Im a fan of on the bone or "whole" fillet). What came up was nearly raw in the middle...yes, I definitely could have sent it back, but i"m lazy I guess and wanted to start eating together. Note to chef: a thin/medium size line of pink is good but a big old bunch is not. Note I eat rare /medium rare everything including lamb and port, but this was 'too much'...again my fault for not sending back, but.... Asparagus side was done very well...not under/over cooked. I'll be back!“
“I went here in December 2022 and loved my experience here. I was able to find seating at the bar on a busy Friday night. I ordered 2 drinks - a bright blue cocktail and a hot pink one after. Both were delicious. The service was a bit slow because of how busy the restaurant was, but the bartender totally made it up to us by giving us free shooters! The shot was blue and sparkly and also amazing. Overall I really liked it here. I'm not sure if the bar is still open or if it's just an event space now, but I would go back to this bar.“
“Diverse, interesting menu with ambitious range. These folks are making the extra effort. We tried something new on the menu and server was very interested in our reaction, took feedback back to kitchen. Loved seeing people so dedicated to improving their product.“
“This restaurant is a part of the group that brought you Russell House Tavern and Hourly Oyster. I think it may be the best of the three! We had the chicken wings, beet salad, and slow-roasted half chicken and it was mind blowing. The service was excellent and attentive even on a very busy Saturday night. The beet salad was a standout and the flavor of the slow-roasted chicken was insane. A strong recommend!“
“Came here for an office event hosted in their private dining room. This place smells heavenly and fuels the appetite! There was a pre-curated menu for the event with choice of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The drinks menu covered beers, wine, spirits, and cocktails and the server was helpful in suggesting wine pairings with our food. I will come here again to try their happy hour menu!“
“As a New Yorker, was hesitant to get pizza this far from home but was pleasantly surprised. Food was good, service was great. Even hit us with a couple of jokes. I'd go back if I were in town. Definitely one of the best food options in the area.“
“I can praise Henrietta”s table enough! The choices are amazing all healthy and sounds delicious and fresh! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. Been here a few times and last night we had Brit who was absolutely a doll helped me get out of my scrod box and try the salmon. I HIGHLY suggest for all. Thank you Brit much appreciate it“
“Came here to celebrate my upcoming birthday and had such a lovely experience. The space is very pretty, I would like to sit upstairs at some point but the downstairs bar is also beautiful! Got two drinks and the steak tartare and was extremely happy with it all. The serving size of the steak tartare for $21 was absolutely massive, definitely would be good to share with two people or one if you're hungry. The flavors were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. The couple next to me got the brussels sprouts and the burger and said they enjoyed them both as well. The drinks aren't too sweet at all, I got the Monaco and the Havana Daydreamin' and enjoyed both. Service was fantastic. The hostess and bar staff gently mentioned the Havana Daydreamin' which I ordered, turns out it comes with a rubber duck, (they gave me a duck with a party hat) and put a lit candle on the side of the drink. Little touches like that really help an occasion feel special and I appreciated the thoughtfulness. Throughout the night everyone was attentive and kind but I didn't feel rushed. This was a great bar to grab a drink and some food, I was very happy as a solo guest and would definitely come back with friends in the future.“
“Went there to eat. All the food that it group ordered was excellent. Beet salad with added Salmon was the best! Burgers, fries, deserts were awesome as well. Appetizers we're fresh and hot. Service was great and friendly. Easy parking during the week.“
“Tonight we had the most amazing meal at Bambara. We were warmly greeted by our waiter Andres. He was a perfect example of what an excellent waiter should be, friendly and attentive. Next our food, it was delicious. My husband ordered the clam chowder soup which he thought was excellent, but his main dish was the scallops on top of farro risotto with butter squash was a 5 star dish! My order the salmon with crispy Brussels sprouts on a tahini sauce was wonderful too. We both highly recommend this restaurant. Not to be missed if you are in the Cambridge area.“
“Amazing atmosphere with iconic decor. An antiquated feel to it. I was here for a conference and there are quite a number of meeting rooms, but seating is rather limited. Also, parking is a gigantic problem, so use public transportation if possible because most conferences go all day long, so the zones limit you to either one hour or two hours with NO option to extend your time. You will have to keep moving your vehicle and driving around & around & around in hopes a spot will open up. Very friendly people here and it has a prestigious feel to it.“
“The Catalyst Restaurant's reviews here are as I experienced. I had the pleasure to work a business event there, & our assigned staff Cassandra & Carlos were absolutely accommodating & friendly the entire time, on point & always proactive in assisting us to have a great event. For lunch, I ordered the Catalyst burger medium rare with extra fries - the burger was made to order, nicely seared & fries were simply deelish. I look forward to returning here on a personal level with Family & friends, or even for work again. Warm positive vibes all around & just excellent service - what a gem!“
“This place brings back the charm and soul of Harvard Square that's been missing for so long, and deserves nothing but five-star reviews IMO. I visited the bar on St. Patrick's Day, and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant faces south, so the sun was pouring in, and the vibe was just perfect. The owner greeted us with a smile and showed us to our seats right away. And let me tell you, the menu had something for everyone - even the pickiest of eaters would find something to love here. Since it was St. Paddy's Day, we went all out and ordered the corned beef and cabbage and fish and chips, and boy, were they delicious! I've never had corned beef and cabbage that tasted so good, and the fish and chips were fried to perfection. But that's not even the best part - a live band started playing at 4 PM, and the music was fantastic (I can't recall the band that was there tonight but it was Bon Iver Vibes A++). They have live music every Sunday. It's a top-notch spot that I can't wait to go back to again and again.“
“Great place for something low key and casual. I came here to meet a friend for drinks. The restaurant is split between 2 levels and we met up downstairs. The bartender was very friendly and was able to get our orders in right away. Note that this is a CASH BAR ONLY!“
“saw Darlingside 's late show which wasn't a seated event. But the kind Lara, attending the merch table got a seat for my very pregnant niece. The venue is like a renovated subway station concrete cold but with a full house it warms up balconies on either side of stage and center give good views of stages.Restrooms clean as are bars efficient and stocked.Management had a good control of evacuating crowd .Band was very pleased too which made for a great show..will return to a seated show“
“Recently clover as upped their vegan options with a menu of at least three (plant) protein bowls. We tried the verde rice bowl which seemed delicious at its base but you have the option to add Tender Foods vegan proteins to each bowl (tenders, buffalo tenders, pulled pork, depending on the bowl). Tender Foods is a local vegan protein startup so it's cool to see something like this being offered at a restaurant that prides themselves on locally sourced ingredients. The bowl was great all around with a mix of fresh flavors and the tenders were THE BEST VEGAN TENDERS I have had to date. Heck yeah! I hope they continue to offer these plant based options and more, as this place is a vegetarians dream and would be cool for it to remain that way for vegans as well. I really like the deep fried jalapeños as well as the local heirloom beans as standouts in the bowl as well.“
“This s a Boston chain serving healthy food, my wife and I had the chickpea fritter sandwich and shared a corn chowder. Very good food at good prices. You order your food at the counter and pick it up when it is ready. Recommend, especially for lunch.“
“While the burger we tried didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of flavor balance and texture, the service provided by the waiter was exceptional. We also found the burger and fries a bit oily although the fries was good in taste. This place has the potential to provide much higher quality burger:)“
“We went to dine in looking at the name Tanjore restaurant . Assumed that southern Indian food will be served as Tanjore is in TamilNadu. But So disappointed and then had to eat regular northern Indian Dishes. But food was good and place was Alright to dine in.“
“Located in front of one of Charles river canals, they offer a large and scenic setting for hosting events (indoor or outdoor). The place is not usually crowded and they have happy hour on weekdays. We had tacos, beer flight, and whiskey. All was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Good for organizing parties and group hangouts!“
“Pammy's in Cambridge offers a culinary journey that delights the senses at every turn. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The menu is a celebration of seasonal ingredients and inventive flavor combinations, expertly curated by the talented chefs. Each dish is a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Standout dishes include the handmade pastas, perfectly cooked meats, and inventive vegetable creations. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the dining experience, from the impeccable service to the thoughtfully selected wine list. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to indulge in outstanding cuisine, Pammy's is a culinary gem not to be missed in Cambridge.“
