“A neighborhood hidden gem? A surprisingly good restaurant with hearty, delicious food. The Detroit style pizza was unique and the corner crust is absolutely to die for!Furthermore, the grapefruit tequila sour had a cinnamon flare that ingeniously balanced the bitterness. Why not 5 stars? Perogi’s were only okay, they were oily and not crispy. As for value, the bill was around $80 for: 2 mains, 1 app, 1 soda, 1 cocktail and a 20% tip. Slightly more than anticipated but the food and drink were very good.In all, 4.5/5. Definitely try it out!“
“I got the Shoyu Ramen and the cold tea mixed drink. It was great. The ramen came out with the right temp. It wasn't hot enough to burn you, but it was warm enough to heat you up. Perfect ramen for those cold rainy days. The drink was great; you get to taste the tequila without the nasty after taste. I would recommend this place to anyone.Parking: There are streets parking right in front of the restaurant and across the street. There is also a parking lot next to it too.“
“Ordered the Irish curry and the Sam Adams Cold Snap, both were great! I came alone and sat at a booth. It wasn't too busy, but wasn't empty either. It was a quiet and chill pub, with good music playing in the background. Would recommend dining here if you wanted something quiet.“
“I liked this brewery. The interior design was kind of industrial noir but with a friendly feeling and the layout for seating was done well. Very excited I got a seat at the window bar top. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They had a unique selection of beer, a few good choices with high ABV, and some beer types I’ve never heard of. I didn’t get one but they do offer flights. They also had a selection of games you could play at your table. The street parking was tricky but that’s because of the Cambridge and not the brewery’s fault.“
“Lots to like, with a couple of notes. Good oysters, good beer, delicious pickled mussels. The seafood is our entrees was very fresh and the scallops were standout. The execution of the spaghetti with clams fell a bit short in the execution: The dish was noticeably sandy and had some shards of shell. We also observed our poured beers sitting for a few minutes before someone picked them up and brought them to us. But overall it was a very good meal in a very pleasant, not too loud setting.“
“Our new favorite joint!! The portions are generous and cocktails are on point. Max and Chelsea are amazing humans and it’s evident the love they’ve poured into this restaurant. Dining there feels like coming home… minus the family drama/judgment and with the tastiest, most nurturing home cooked meal. We are so happy to have this neighborhood gem so close to us.“
“This is one very busy place. We arrived around 6 pm after a Google search for a place to eat near the Conventio & Expo Center. Love the atmosphere inside. the food was excellent. the service was quick and super nice for a packed restaurant. Young Boston crowd filled the place, and there were several young Mom's with babies and toddlers. I would definitely go back again. Just a heads up, the bear brick walls do reflect a lot of sound, so it can be a tad loud inside if your hearing is not strong.“
“This is a great Italian restaurant. The service here was great, they were very nice and professional but not too uptight. The food did take a little longer, however I went with a big group so that is to be more expected. Pricing was on the higher end but it was a nice restaurant and the food was definitely worth it.“
“The drinks are good; however the space really needs some help. There are over 12 tables in a tiny space, packed against the high top tables, and this makes the space feel SO packed and uninviting. Really need someone to think about the design of this space and it would be 100x better. Maybe a communal table and then some small tables. Just some small tweaks would be a huge difference for this actually to feel like a good meeting spot.“
“Great staff and coaches, they did a fantastic job accommodating a company function. The venue is a fantastic setup. Very good for entry level and experienced axe throwers. We were able to bring in our own food, additionally, the beer selection was top notch.“
“This place is super chill--I used to come to the last iteration with drunk cooks that wanted strong drinks and darts, in that order. The new place offers the same, but is also cleaner(?!)Good music, super reasonably priced drinks. Excellent vibe. But the best thing of all is definitely the picklebacks. They have pickle juice on tap. No, really. On tap. They f@#k,. Super hard.“
“I really like fine line. There’s a lot to say - the chicken wings are thick and juicy, beer selections and specials are well put together, and there’s a sense of pride of ownership and management that exudes itself which separates the establishment from other gross sports bars. The ability to watch so many different sports games at once is a big green flag for any sports fan. Eric and Courtney are the real bartenders that really keep this place in full motion and are the most attentive staff members. Even if you get comfortable as a regular, they don’t miss a beat in providing excellent, consistent service which is a determining factor in how many people decide if they return to a restaurant/bar or not. When things get busy, the bar backs Manny and Jennifer are great support staff and kill it and even add to the experience which is awesome to have. Dave is a great manager as well. My neighbors and I speak highly of him and his receptiveness to new ideas.“
“Came three times with friends and always left in an amazing mood. The bartenders/waitresses are so nice & offer suggestions. The food/dessert & drink selection is great & the atmosphere is so nice & there are plenty of tv's to watch a live game from as you enjoy your meal. I recommend going here!Parking: Plenty of spots to park“
“That the young man overseeing the entrance and merch counter was reading Sartre’s The Plague was a good sign. So was being located along and near the end of the Somerville Community Path, at least to this cyclist in need of a pit stop. There are three standards by which to rate a microbrewery: food, physical location and quality of beer. Since I only had time (and good sense) for one marzen lager at the bar (tasty and refreshing), and tried none of their food, I can’t rate their beer or food. However, as a place to hang out, either inside—open but small enough to seem cozy, or outside on the patio overlooking The Common, it rates a 5.“
“It's right in front of Quincy Market, so I stayed there during the day and went to have a beer at night. As soon as you enter, there is a goods shop on the left such as tea, cups, and dolls. The store has two floors and is very spacious!A DJ plays songs on the stage downstairs. The song selection was good and the atmosphere was great.I tried the Best 4 sampler of beer, and beers 2 and 4 were the most delicious. It's a shame I couldn't order a larger portion because I was full.I recommend it to anyone who wants to go to a pub in Boston!!I think it would be perfect to have dinner at Quincy Market along the route.“
“The Fed is an amazing bar located inside the Langham Hotel in Boston. The bar itself has a great ambiance. The tables have comfortable seats and spacious seating. The tables are not on top of each other. The drink list is great, and the drink sizes are generous. It's worth stopping in for a drink. A++“
“I consider this restaurant a hidden gem. A short walk to the TD Garden , servers that are personable, excellent pizza, sandwiches and drinks food. It is a comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is not big but that's the beauty of the experience. I'll be back..“
“If you're already a fan of Aeronaut's beers - and especially its roaringly atmospheric taproom in Somerville - then you might be interested in visiting their cannery here in Everett where they also have a taproom. I stopped by recently for a Yelp Elite event and stayed for additional drinks at my own expense. There were 18 brews on tap and about a dozen more available in bottled and canned format. If you're like me, you'll especially enjoy their sour, hazy, and fruity brews like the black currant sour and Canjam NEIPA (passion fruit, gooseberry, lychee, and stone fruit). The taproom is a large warehouse space that has in-house food in the form of an arepa stand - the same one that you'll find at their Somerville outpost. There are also frequent events like trivia nights. The only nit: the cannery is somewhat difficult to find as it's tucked deep within what otherwise looks to be a private, industrial parking lot deep down a driveway leading from the nearest street. Some clearer signage from this street might help.“
“I've been to Cunards a couple of times and it never disappoints! The food and drinks are always amazing and the atmosphere is great. The chef and staff is always so kind and helpful, you're never left waiting for too long! My standout favorites are the Tuna Tartare (coming from someone who does not like fish normally), the burgers, the calamari (the best I've ever had) and the short rub sliders. Overall its a great place for a casual but intimate dinner and you'll always leave satisfied and wanting to come back soon!“
“Best fish & chips I've had in Boston. The boys really liked their checkerboard sandwiches too. The beer is very decent too. Directly across the street from the Hampton Inn Seaport, so no problem enjoying the brews and getting back to my room!“
“It has fancy looking outdoor seatings good for chill drinks with mexican foods in the warm weather. Inside seatings and bars are good for watching sports games. Foods are generally good and well served. Price is a bit high. Some meter parkings are available by chance on Mass ave and the streets nearby. But they are usually crowded so not recommended during peak hours.“
“I am so happy I went to the Barking Crab! All the years I have been going to Boston and this was my first time there. I can tell you I will be going back! The lobster Mac and cheese were scrumptious!! Drinks service and atomsphere were perfect! See ya in the summer, Boston!!“
“The waiter was excellent. Good selection of beer and they offer even microbrews in pitchers too. That's a unique plus! I like the old school setting, Brick, wood very rustic. I also like the AC Milan banners. The Antipasto was ok, I would have preferred served more as a misto instead of a cold cut plate. The garlic bread it came with was the best part. Meatballs are homemade and tasty so get them on the pizza. They do not have pepperoni as a topping was a little of a let down. I get it pepperoni is not authentic. But I like it! Pizza would probably score a 6.8 on the One Bite app if I were to score it. It's OK.“
“Went to the Locke Bar for lunch and thought the menu had a great variety of choices. I had 2 appetizers for my lunch (lamb & hummus and the Brussels sprouts) and my husband got the burger. The lamb & hummus was tasty. The lamb was shredded and served with pine nuts and pita. It was a great flavor balance with the pita. The Brussels were crisp and flavorful, I enjoyed every bite. My husband is picky about burgers and thought the Locke burger was perfectly cooked and the sauce on it added a nice punch. I tried a couple of fries and they had a great crunch. I will definitely go back and try some other things on the menu.“
“Ordered a blueberry cider that was just Ok. For dinner I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were really enjoyable. The 3 tacos came with a side of black beans and rice. My dinner companion had the dahli chicken bowl and she said it was good. Monday night is music bingo which was, pun intended, my jam. It was a fun selection of music. I'd go back again.“
“SO HAPPY to find a place with amazing options for both vegans AND non-vegans! Both my boyfriend and I ordered “chicken” sandwiches. His was real chicken, and mine was plant-based, but BOTH were delicious! He ordered the poblano chicken sandwich and I got the kimchi chicken sandwich. The kimchi was amazing. The fries were also amazing! Perfect crispiness. (we would not recommend the chipotle vegan sauce … weird texture).“
“This place has been in my radar for a while. Sabroso provides a delicious and time-efficient option for lunch. The staff were nice and attentive. I went around 1:30 pm and there wasn't much line. I asked for the steak burrito bowl without cream. It was prepared very quickly. All of the ingredients looked and tasted good. The rice, beans and steak were warm. The salad and cheese were fresh. Overall, it was a delicious burrito bowl. The restaurant was cozy and clean. There was some good bachata music playing in the background and sports in the TV. I didn't eat lunch at the restaurant but I'd be inclined to in the future. The portion was a little smaller than what I'd get at a place like Chipotle and the price is about the same. However, the overall eating experience is better than at any Chipotle I've been to.“
“Excellent ! I love eating in restaurants, trying different foods, other cultures and without a mistake the best food so far! Excellent service and the drinks are delicious! At first I was afraid since I follow the place on Instagram and today I decided to visit it and I was not wrong! The best “
“Would you like to go to a cash only bar, with a hometown feel? This is the place! It felt like we were in our local dive.Cash only, bottles, 4 taps(?), Mixed drinks done right. The music box was playing, the game was on multiple tvs. Friendly regulars and new patrons.. someone even brought in pizza for anyone who was interested! This was our kind of place. Thanks for making us feel home, and welcoming into your bar. The friendly staff was much appreciated, we will be back when visiting in town again, and hope you will give this hole in the wall a chance as well.. (ATM in the rear, with clean bathrooms and hot water)“
“Donald (Don) C. was a fantastic bartender. He helped generate smiles and laughs amongst the customers and encourage travelers to take the time to get to know one another at the airport. Turkey burger and fries were cooked to perfection. 70’s music created a chill and relaxed yet upbeat vibe. I will definitely be back!“
“My first ever visit was on a slow weekday. Kyle made me feel like an old friend, providing an undue level of service one does not normally get in a bar at 2pm. We go back almost weekly now. Mario Kart monday’s, dart league tuesdays, merch nights on wednesday and thursday. The Avenue is part of the Allston community and makes you feel connected to everyone else. P.S. the food is amazing too (NOT just generic bar food. several veggie options. Rotating seasonal offering.)Vegetarian options: Any burger can be swapped to veggie, veggie quesadilla is a delicious combo of vegetables, and the tofu taco would convince tofu haters to eat tofu daily.“
“Pleasantly surprised. We got a server who I think had been characterized as awkward in another review. But I found him to be just fine and pretty normal. Good cocktail. Blackened Salmon was pretty delicious. So we're the patates bravas.“
“A great find on the way home from hockey. Great service, great pub food with a Brazilian steakhouse slant, and cold delicious beer. Bartender took care of my party and could not have been more accommodating. We were impressed with quality of food and extent of menu. Interior could use a splash of paint or update- but everything else is working well!“
“Friendly, fast, and flexible menu options!Vegetarian options: Fully vegetarian menu with options to make things veganDietary restrictions: Vegan options labeled and a fully vegetarian menuParking: Can be difficult to find parking. Metered spots around the block and can be busy in the areaKid-friendliness: Kid menu options availableWheelchair accessibility: Accessible restaurant and patio“
“New favorite spot! The hospitality is top notch. That’s not even including the amazing drinks. The food is also amazing. I never knew I could put my face on a drink haha. I’m a big espresso martini lover and I was able to put my self drinking an espresso martini on an ESPRESSO MARTINI! Overall, amazing experience! Can’t wait to be back every weekend ?“
“We are big fan of Loretta's Last Call and have been here many times. If you're looking for a down home southern experience this won't let you down. Live music and dancing is always grear here. On this particular visit we came for the Johnny Cash brunch, and it was a lot of fun. What excellent service from Gail today! My only piece of feedback is about our visit was about the biscuits and gravey, as seen on the menu. Be prepared for the irony when it comes out and is served with only a single biscuit... Well... It is a southern themed restaurant. We'll be back, we love this place... Bad grammer and all. No judgement - I'm just a simple guy from Indiana ?!“
“Here for the Saturday chunk of the Boskone convention, which I attended from 9 am to about 4pm. Came in between a couple panel discussions for a breather, and both times Ivan was a literal angel. Adorable, thoughtful, quick and efficient. I don't usually make reviews about servers (I'm a foodie), but Ivan stood out so much that I couldn't help myself. I even bonded with the couple next to me celebrating a birthday over his fab service.THANK YOU IVAN!!!“
“Decided to use 4 stars as 3.5 stars was not an option. Seating was quick and friendly and the menu was better than expected for the style of place City Works is. Tons of free parking right at/in Arsenal Yards including the garage. Great for bad weather days.Nice atmosphere (Sports bar Plus) and there were many, many BIG screens to watch current games from all over the world. Liked the spacing of the tables as well, and you had some choices of booths, raised tables.Big enough menu, but I would like to see a slightly larger one, and for a "beer" place, not a big enough selection, but I give them credit for choosing fairly well. Tastes win out slightly over branding. I like that.Service was good, above average, but not outstanding. (3.5)Pulled pork: Decent taste, but it was a little dry; it needed the three sauces to finish quickly. Hard to eat without the sauces though. (3.0)BBQ Wings: I really liked them, charred, bbq, dry rub style. I will give them a 4 out of 5, but if you are a hardcore bbq wings person, you will probably give them a 3. (4.0)Corn on the Cob: Fantastic! (4.5)Ribs: Need their own review, but plenty of meat on the bones, good flavor, worth getting but WAY TOO DRY; Wish I could score them higher but they are about a (3.25)Sausage links: Good. (3.5)Sauces: Good Selection, but not spicy enoughBeans: Very, very good, but bbq sauce was too sweet for my taste. Most people would say (4.0I would go back again, just not going to be a regular here. Great for small groups and meet-ups with friends and co-workers though. A little expensive for me, one meal and one beverage with tax and tip was over $50. If you are from the South or the Midwest, you will have a lower rating than I gave it, except for the corn and the beverages and atmosphere.Major props for trying hard though.(Very, very clean; Great bathrooms; A very, very well run place)Overall: 3.5 starsParking: Easy and free and plenty of it.“
“Was staying nearby for a week over St Patrick's weekend and we were in everyday. Greg and his staff couldn't be friendlier and treated us really well, helping us with recommendations for places to visit and things to see. They would let us in early for a Irish breakfast and nothing was ever too much to ask. The food specials were great and they even showed the rugby internationals from Europe on the Saturday, this was great fun as the place was buzzing.“
“As always our meal at Dovetail was spot on. I had the snapper and my wife the scallops. Bother dishes were thoughtfully prepared, attractive and very tasty. We've been fans for years and have never been disappointed in our meals at Dovetail or their sister restaurant, Brewers Fork.“
