“Such a fun place for cocktails and apps. I brought some friends who were visiting from out of town and for that area, which is mostly sports bar and pubs, this is a hidden gem! My friend rolled the dice and the drink did not disappoint. We will definitely be back for a girls night!“

“Came for a late dinner on my partner's birthday and had the best time! Such a fun environment and the friendliest staff around. I've been dreaming of the crab curry and crispy pork since we left. A cool cocktail list, too. Can't wait to come back!“

“Great food and great vibes. The basement is a little loud, but we could still talk and be heard. All the tapas were fantastic. I highly suggest the croquettes. The octopus was cooked to perfection. The drinks were very solid too. I’ll be back!“

Each dish is more beautiful than the last. Love the kale salad, flounder, chickpea dish, butternut squash, and the cheesecake is a must!“

“my girlfriend and I went recently to Tres Gatos, and for the second time, I just had to write a review on how amazing the food and atmosphere is there. The food and drinks are expertly crafted and have such rich flavor. It doesn't matter what you order at the resturant, you will enjoy your experience at Tres Gatos. Also the Paella Mixta is our favorite dish!10/10!“

“Went to Viale while on vacation in MA. I found it to be better than the popular Italian restaurants in downtown Boston. The food was incredible. My wife, who is a vegetarian with high food standards, absolutely loved the beat salad, shaved brussel sprouts, and arancini that they served her. The meatballs were delicious. Service was great. The manager met with us and was very friendly and accommodating. This will be our go to spot from now on whenever we visit Boston.Vegetarian options: Some great vegetarian options on the menu, but the manager made it clear that they would also modify any dish to accommodate a vegetarian diet, upon request.“

“We came here last night with a group of friends and we are already planning our next trip back. When we arrived for our reservation we were immediately seated. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick out some favorites off the menu. Everything we tried was amazing - highly recommend both the Thai sausage lettuce wraps and chilled octopus salad.“

“Came here last month and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I appreciated how the front of house told us (before seating us) that if we order sushi, it'd take about an hour to prepare the food because they were so busy. Obviously, because it was a Saturday night.Agedashi tofu - As a tofu lover who often orders this dish, I thought it was super yummy and have great flavor & texture. There were four large cubes and came with a lot of garnishes.Nagaimo Teppan - My friends and I were curious about this dish, but it ended up being very different from what we expected. The texture was crumbly and the flavor was not as good as we anticipated. It was an interesting experience but not worth the price for us.Omusoba - SO GOOD. I wish we ordered less so that I had space to eat more of this dish. The flavors were amazing, especially with the seaweed and mayo on top. I loved that there were noodles inside, since I'm an avid noodle enjoyer.Niku Udon - I was craving something soupy, and this dish was exactly what I was looking for. The noodles weren't the typical thick udon noodles, but instead were more flat. The beef was cooked very well and there was just the right amount of it. The flavor was great and the portion was perfect. LOVED this one!Crab Croquette - My first time having this dish and it was above my expectations. It and the same yummy sauce that was on the omusoba and came with a little bit of salad. The croquettes themselves were cooked very well, but were very filling. Would definitely recommend if you like fried food!In terms of service and layout, the place was pretty full when I went, so I had to sit on a long table in the middle of the room, where servers were constantly going back and forth behind me (I didn't mind it). The servers themselves are kind and welcome to the guests, and the food came out pretty quickly. There is a bar as well as an open kitchen were I could see the sushi chef work his craft. There was overall just a great sense of community inside. Unfortunately, because of its location, the restaurant does not have their own bathroom. Instead, we had to leave the restaurant and go around the corner of the "mall" to use the public bathroom. It was fine.In conclusion, I highly recommend going, especially when they aren't busy“

“I loooooved this cocktail bar. It was my first time there with a friend and we spontaneously decided to stop by. So glad we did. The Asquerosa is my favorite. A floral, flirty mezcal based cocktail! The calamari was pretty good, and I got the shrimp scampi for dinner. The jumbo shrimps were such a treat. The lighting too- not too dim not too light. Love the music… it was such a vibe. I’d definitely come here again.“

“I have been to Dali many times and I swear it exceeds my expectations every time. The tapas are nothing short of spectacular. They get the small details correct on every dish to give it that little something special. I suggest eating at the bar. The bartenders are mainstays at the restaurant. They are great at their job, super friendly, and fun! I can't recommend it enough.“

“We had a great time as usual at Ithaki. The food, service, and atmosphere was great. Our server Juliana was very nice and attentive. She was knowledgeable of the menu and helpful. One of our guests spilled food on her blouse. Juliana was able to help clean the shirt with soda ware and a cloth. We went the appetizer and small plate menu and skipped entrees. We also had coffee and dessert. The bill was under 300. The lollipop lanb chops, short rib, and octopus were delicious. The Caesar salad special was also very good. Including presentation. Overall, we were content and will return. The food and service were top notch.“

“The food is always great and the ambience is fun and lively. It's likely going to be full, leaving you with quite a wait. However, the host staff makes every effort to get you seated as quickly and easily as possible. The bartenders are knowledgeable and patient. It's not ideal for groups, because space is so limited however, It's a great Saturday evening date spot if you're looking for something that feels hip and fun.“

“The lamb chuletillas are exceptional. Also, the queso de la plancha salad did not disappoint—it is a must-have with every meal. The paella was quite good as well. “Great food for reasonable prices! It’s loud and lively in there so might not be conducive to quieter dinners but if you like the bustling vibe this is a great spot. Hard to find seats during Fri/weekend rush hours so I’d definitely recommend getting a reservation for those times. Their biscuits are some of my favorite.“

“Went during Reastaurant week so went looking for the specials ..the waiter explained it didn’t make any sense because there was additional pricing for some of the items which defeats the Reastaurant week deal so I got the bootleg special for two and it was pretty good came out looking and smelling delicious and it was a good portion seeing how you get a whole lobster also got the shooter special but it was a little confusing because I thought you were getting 4 different flavored shots when it was just multiple flavors in that one shooter but I may go maybe one more time to try something else for another review just don’t go during reastaurant week unless they change the prices items“

“Was here with a friends for a bday dinner. It was absolutely delicious from drinks to mains and to dessert. We had their private room and it was so great to make all the noise in there. Totally recommend everything but our favorites was the croquettes, patatas bravas, shrimp in garlic and the salad. But totally do the omakase pre doze meal they have. Let them do all the thinking. Sit back and drink and stuff your face. Can't wait to go back. Service was phenomenal too!!“

“A nice spot for date night in Woburn! Came here Saturday 8pm and we were seated right away. The decorations were very cozy, and I really enjoyed the jazzy acoustic music they were playing in the background. We got 6 dishes, but our favorites were the Chuletas De Cordero (grilled lamb chops with mint yogurt and Tximitxurri), Pisto Manchego (ratatouille), and Solomillo De Ternera y Queso Cabrales (beef tenderloin with blue cheese, caramelized onions, toasted crostini). The grilled lamb chops were wonderful but I personally wasn't a fan of the dill sauce so I'd eat it without it. The ratatouille is a must, strong tomato flavor with a wonton style chip. And the beef steak/tenderloin comes with blue cheese and onions on a small flank of bread.“

“I took the sushi and hand roll class with a friend and we had the BEST time. Tracy and the entire staff were SO welcoming, kind and lovely. Tracy talked through how to make many variations of sushi and explained the science of it but explain it in a way that we could understand and use at home. The portions were very generous and the environment was PERFECT. I highly recommend going to Pagu for a class or for dining. We will be back - thank you!!“

“Swung in for brunch and had a pretty good time. Ordered the Hot Buttered Rum, and while i didn't enjoy it as much as i thought i would, it was still neat.We ordered the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken and cookie dough waffles. The biscuits and gravy were rather forgetable, but the waffles were so good.Finished off with the brownie sundae, which was great.Overall, we had a good experience. The service was good, the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, and we came and left happy.“

“Went for Valentine’s Day dinner - overall, a really great meal!My first impression was that there was so much more seating than you’d think just walking in from the street. Cute decor, friendly servers. When we went there was a DJ spinning vinyl, and I really liked his music selections. I’m not sure if this was just for Valentine’s Day but it was a great touch. For two people, we ordered:A tequila margarita with grasshopper rimA mezcal margarita with grasshopper rimChicken EnmoladasCochinita PibilChips and GuacamoleThe great:- The drinks! I thought the cocktails were excellent, and the grasshopper rim is unusual for greater Boston but a delicious and memorable touch- The ambiance. Great music! Great decor!- The service was professional and quick, and they use those QR code receipts that let you pay on your phone. The good:- The food. The presentation is beautiful and the food was very good. However, as many have said, the portions are surprisingly small for the price on everything we ordered and saw. Additionally, while I thought what we ordered was delicious, I’ve had the same dishes at other local restaurants that were as good or better but cheaper and with larger portions.Overall, I’d definitely recommend BARRA, but in my opinion it’s better suited for drinks and maybe a light snack than a meal, given the portions and price point.“

“Good for a bite with friends. Lots of variety to share. The whipped ricotta with dates, honey, and roasted brussels sprouts was a hit (served with crunchy toast that wasn't overly toasted). The mac and cheese was good - be careful... it comes out super hot, so don't burn your mouth. The fried chicken sliders were fantastic - we've had these before and definitely wanted more - the sandwiches were substantial enough to satisfy without being so big that you didn't want to try any other dishes. Service was very friendly. We were seated in the corner, so it was a bit hard to catch anyone's eye sometimes, but we weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a big deal. Tip: don't sit up front if it is cold out. There will be lots of drafty moments whenever anyone opens the front door.“
“I went here for the Saturday hot chocolate experience. It was very confusing and disorganized to figure out how to get seated. We were waiting in a cluster/line but there was no host to facilitate the seating. I think it was self seating? And then the service was very very slow. The interior was gorgeous and the hot coco was cute and fun. I think if they were more well staffed this experience would have been better.“

“Tulum offers a cozy dining experience with its small space that fills up quickly, so reservations are a must. The ambiance is enhanced by great music, and the staff is notably friendly. But it's the food that steals the show, with phenomenal options like the pastor and cochinita tacos that are simply delicious. And don't leave without trying the spectacular flan dessert—it's a must-try!Parking: The parking lot is a short walk from the restaurant. It's pretty small.“

“Almost perfect. Really cute lil spot in Southie. Can’t seem to decide if they want to commit to being upscale or not. Certainly priced at the higher range. The food and cocktails (mostly) live up to the price, but feels like service and decor don’t quite match up. Would love it if Petula’s was a bit more affordable to make it a regular go-to spot, but for now it remains a worthwhile indulgence.Vegetarian options: Great for pescatarian. Veggie options, but not a lot well balanced with protein.“

“Savinos is a local gem. I've been here for celebratory dinners in the past, both pre- and during the pandemic, and everything has been delicious with great service in a classy (if a bit dated) atmosphere. Lately I've been enjoying their lunch, which is a great price (entrees around $15) for high quality meals that satisfy more than your typical sandwich of the same price in the area. I have a number of dietary restrictions (mostly gluten and dairy free), and they've been able to accommodate them while not compromising on quality. The grilled salmon is one meal I would get again and again. It comes with a refreshing salad alongside a red potato salad that's very lightly dressed with mayonnaise, just what I prefer. The steak is another good option for gluten and dairy free folks. It's easy to substitute items with more veggies. While I've enjoyed just about everything I've had there, sometimes they add a bit too much finishing oils, making some dishes too oily. My mom, who is a particular eater, loves the flatbread (toppings are a rotating special). She found the pasta bolognese to be a bit one note, though, with not much other ingredients. They don't have gf/df desserts, but I couldn't resist taking a bite of my mom's crème caramel. It is deliciously creamy! Reminds me of desserts in Paris when I could eat whatever I wanted. There's street parking and some outdoor seating for warmer months. If you do want to come for lunch, be sure to make a reservation on their website -- I think they still require them. We've also called them to get takeout, which has been super easy. Still, I prefer going in person to have a slice of elegant calm.“

“Our bartender and waitresses kept the drinks and food coming....I asked my bartender for a "surprise" beverage, seeing that I was indecisive to what spirits my pallet wanted to entertain this evening.Soon, my bartender came back with a Moscow mule - the first one definitely took the edge off, the second one, well.....let's say I felt like I was ready to compete in any salsa ??dance competition after taking an hours worth of their newly promoted salsa class. The food and the appetizer were filling, so my friend and I were happy to work off those calories by joining the establishments' very first ever salsa class. We were very excited to be a part of this feature event and hope they will permanently add salsa classes to the mix!“

“An unexpected delight, this hole-in-the-wall had a varied menu (tapas, appetizers, main courses, full bar). I had the Pulpo which was delicious. My granddaughter has chicken fingers, which is usually not crunchy in most places, but this was crispy and tasty, including the fries. “We arrived as they unlocked the door, so we got super service! All the dishes we ordered were done well and delicious. With 4 drinks the price was reasonable. I hadn't been there in quite a while and was SO disappointed that the dish I craved above all else (the mango covered calamari) was no longer even on the menu!
