The manager met with us and was very friendly and accommodating. “Came here last month and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I appreciated how the front of house told us (before seating us) that if we order sushi, it'd take about an hour to prepare the food because they were so busy. Obviously, because it was a Saturday night.Agedashi tofu - As a tofu lover who often orders this dish, I thought it was super yummy and have great flavor & texture. There were four large cubes and came with a lot of garnishes.Nagaimo Teppan - My friends and I were curious about this dish, but it ended up being very different from what we expected. The texture was crumbly and the flavor was not as good as we anticipated. It was an interesting experience but not worth the price for us.Omusoba - SO GOOD. I wish we ordered less so that I had space to eat more of this dish. The flavors were amazing, especially with the seaweed and mayo on top. I loved that there were noodles inside, since I'm an avid noodle enjoyer.Niku Udon - I was craving something soupy, and this dish was exactly what I was looking for. The noodles weren't the typical thick udon noodles, but instead were more flat. The beef was cooked very well and there was just the right amount of it. The flavor was great and the portion was perfect. LOVED this one!Crab Croquette - My first time having this dish and it was above my expectations. It and the same yummy sauce that was on the omusoba and came with a little bit of salad. The croquettes themselves were cooked very well, but were very filling. Would definitely recommend if you like fried food!In terms of service and layout, the place was pretty full when I went, so I had to sit on a long table in the middle of the room, where servers were constantly going back and forth behind me (I didn't mind it). The servers themselves are kind and welcome to the guests, and the food came out pretty quickly. There is a bar as well as an open kitchen were I could see the sushi chef work his craft. There was overall just a great sense of community inside. Unfortunately, because of its location, the restaurant does not have their own bathroom. Instead, we had to leave the restaurant and go around the corner of the "mall" to use the public bathroom. It was fine.In conclusion, I highly recommend going, especially when they aren't busy“

“A nice spot for date night in Woburn! Came here Saturday 8pm and we were seated right away. The decorations were very cozy, and I really enjoyed the jazzy acoustic music they were playing in the background. We got 6 dishes, but our favorites were the Chuletas De Cordero (grilled lamb chops with mint yogurt and Tximitxurri), Pisto Manchego (ratatouille), and Solomillo De Ternera y Queso Cabrales (beef tenderloin with blue cheese, caramelized onions, toasted crostini). The grilled lamb chops were wonderful but I personally wasn't a fan of the dill sauce so I'd eat it without it. The ratatouille is a must, strong tomato flavor with a wonton style chip. And the beef steak/tenderloin comes with blue cheese and onions on a small flank of bread.“

Cute decor, friendly servers. When we went there was a DJ spinning vinyl, and I really liked his music selections. I’m not sure if this was just for Valentine’s Day but it was a great touch. For two people, we ordered:A tequila margarita with grasshopper rimA mezcal margarita with grasshopper rimChicken EnmoladasCochinita PibilChips and GuacamoleThe great:- The drinks! I thought the cocktails were excellent, and the grasshopper rim is unusual for greater Boston but a delicious and memorable touch- The ambiance. Great music! Great decor!- The service was professional and quick, and they use those QR code receipts that let you pay on your phone. The good:- The food. The presentation is beautiful and the food was very good. However, as many have said, the portions are surprisingly small for the price on everything we ordered and saw. Additionally, while I thought what we ordered was delicious, I’ve had the same dishes at other local restaurants that were as good or better but cheaper and with larger portions.Overall, I’d definitely recommend BARRA, but in my opinion it’s better suited for drinks and maybe a light snack than a meal, given the portions and price point.“

The mac and cheese was good - be careful... it comes out super hot, so don't burn your mouth. The fried chicken sliders were fantastic - we've had these before and definitely wanted more - the sandwiches were substantial enough to satisfy without being so big that you didn't want to try any other dishes. Service was very friendly. We were seated in the corner, so it was a bit hard to catch anyone's eye sometimes, but we weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a big deal. “Savinos is a local gem. I've been here for celebratory dinners in the past, both pre- and during the pandemic, and everything has been delicious with great service in a classy (if a bit dated) atmosphere. Lately I've been enjoying their lunch, which is a great price (entrees around $15) for high quality meals that satisfy more than your typical sandwich of the same price in the area. I have a number of dietary restrictions (mostly gluten and dairy free), and they've been able to accommodate them while not compromising on quality. The grilled salmon is one meal I would get again and again. It comes with a refreshing salad alongside a red potato salad that's very lightly dressed with mayonnaise, just what I prefer. The steak is another good option for gluten and dairy free folks. It's easy to substitute items with more veggies. While I've enjoyed just about everything I've had there, sometimes they add a bit too much finishing oils, making some dishes too oily. My mom, who is a particular eater, loves the flatbread (toppings are a rotating special). She found the pasta bolognese to be a bit one note, though, with not much other ingredients. They don't have gf/df desserts, but I couldn't resist taking a bite of my mom's crème caramel. It is deliciously creamy! Reminds me of desserts in Paris when I could eat whatever I wanted. There's street parking and some outdoor seating for warmer months. If you do want to come for lunch, be sure to make a reservation on their website -- I think they still require them. We've also called them to get takeout, which has been super easy. Still, I prefer going in person to have a slice of elegant calm.“

“Our bartender and waitresses kept the drinks and food coming....I asked my bartender for a "surprise" beverage, seeing that I was indecisive to what spirits my pallet wanted to entertain this evening.Soon, my bartender came back with a Moscow mule - the first one definitely took the edge off, the second one, well.....let's say I felt like I was ready to compete in any salsa ??dance competition after taking an hours worth of their newly promoted salsa class. The food and the appetizer were filling, so my friend and I were happy to work off those calories by joining the establishments' very first ever salsa class. We were very excited to be a part of this feature event and hope they will permanently add salsa classes to the mix!“

The star of the show is the food, which is beautifully prepared and has many options for a wide variety of diets. Just go already!Vegetarian options: Plentiful vegetarian options! A bit more limited for vegans, but there are still some great options.“

“An unexpected delight, this hole-in-the-wall had a varied menu (tapas, appetizers, main courses, full bar). I had the Pulpo which was delicious. My granddaughter has chicken fingers, which is usually not crunchy in most places, but this was crispy and tasty, including the fries. We drove 15 miles to attend a concert at the nearby Auditorium, but now we would return just for another dinner. The service was excellent and friendly.“

“We arrived as they unlocked the door, so we got super service! All the dishes we ordered were done well and delicious. With 4 drinks the price was reasonable. I hadn't been there in quite a while and was SO disappointed that the dish I craved above all else (the mango covered calamari) was no longer even on the menu! I understand there is a new chef involved and would sincerely hope he watch the Phantom Gourmet's review touted on his own website and bring back a few of the highly praised items that seem to be missing.“

“I've been to Coppa several times and always enjoyed! Recently I stopped in on a rainy Tuesday right about 5 for some post work libations. Normally the small space is packed to the brim but this day I got to enjoy a more quiet ambiance and a great view from a window seat. Fresh sliced charcuterie and cool atmosphere is a win, I'll be back!“
