“We sat at the bar and were assisted throughout the evening by Zenish who was a great tour guide for our evening. Every recommendation he made was spot on. We eat sushi regularly but it is still in a lot of ways new to us, having help on what to choose and the order in which to choose it was just amazing.

The food was spectacular in every respect. This will be a regular spot for us.”

“Excellent, friendly and helpful service from Denise. She really made us feel at home. Soups (chowder and French onion) were great. Steak was cooked exactly to the requested temperature, the Korean BBQ crispy chicken sandwich was delicious. Too much food, we couldn't even try dessert.”

“I honestly can’t recommend this place anymore. They have a frequent customer punch card which once completed grants you a free sandwich. I went and redeemed my card and purchased 2 bags of chips and a Diet Coke. When I get to work I check my account and he charged me $11.77. I assume he forgot to give me my free sandwich and go back. He then goes on to tell me that the bags of chips are $2.50 each, he charged me another $2.50 because I asked for hot peppers on my sandwich. He then says the 20oz soda is $4.25… I know he arbitrarily made up these prices on the fly as I was obviously a frequent customer and none of this matches up to my previous purchases. If you don’t want people to get a free sandwich don’t have the card.”

“Clearly a consistently good place to get fried chicken. The chicken is juicy, fried perfectly and served immediately from the fryer. I’d say coming to eat here was definitely worthwhile.”

“This place is SO SO good. It isn't that I didn't like all of Brookline's many strong solid Thai options it is just that this place wow'd me from the start. Every dish I get here is just a notch above other places.”

“Decent Japanese Korean cuisine. Atmosphere gives off Asian asthestics with a water fountain at the entrance. Pricing is more on middle-high-end, so a group can easily rack up a bill of 150 to 200 dollars depending on what you select. There are reasonable amount of alcoholic choices. Dessert wise is limited. Food quality is passable, as the thin slices of meat are on the dry side, so if you have a hard time with dry over cook food, you may need sauce or condiments to compensate. One my group members commented the food taste sweet, so to be fair, Asian foods that use teriyaki sauce in their ingredients will taste sweeter than the usual Japanese and Chinese cuisine. I would like to try sushi but it usually expensive here compared to a strictly sushi restaurant. Overall this one the better quality restaurants I've been to around the Greater Boston Area.”

“Sweetgreen is a national chain of healthy salad bowls, where you can either choose a premade salad bowl or make your own. They offer online ordering or ordering in person, but we tend to opt to order online.

The meal is reasonably priced for the portions you get, and it's what you'd expect from a salad. We always build our own, and the combos work well together and the dressing is tasty and goes well with the salad. Overall, its a decent place to pickup a salad bowl in the area.”

“Glazed Bytes Coffee is selling itself short by being tucked inside a tiny, painfully forgettable mall in Brookline. The coffee itself? Not forgettable at all.

We ordered two Cloud Foam Lattes (I think that was the name), and that foam was ridiculous in the best way possible. It sits somewhere between an absurdly fluffy marshmallow and canned whipped cream, except smoother, creamier, and somehow lighter at the same time. I genuinely have no idea how they made foam feel “luxurious”, but there we are.

The coffee underneath actually held its own too. Strong flavour, unique profile, not just another Instagram café trying to survive off aesthetics and oat milk. Properly good coffee.

Honestly, the mall needs them more than they need the mall. Places like this drive foot traffic way harder than another random clothing shop nobody remembers walking into. More food spots. More cafés. More reasons for people to actually stay there.

“I recently bought the Earl Grey Tea and Berry Cornbread at my local Kroger store and was blown away! The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. I’ll definitely be trying other flavors.”

“Very cute! It’s more of a decor store with coffee (illy coffee specifically + tea) served. There’s some small snacks available. I got the brown butter toffee late with oatmilk it was more tart from the tide but very tasty! No places to sit but the Waban hill reservoir across the street where you can walk around.

Parking: Small lot around the corner but plenty of street parking.”

“Really tasty tortas and enchiladas. The seating is a little tight and is really on suitable for 3 moderate sized groups. So don't have high expectations of being able to dine in.”

“I come in to town once in a while and this has been a great stop! Their avocado toast is excellent as are their almond croissants! Coming from Texas, customer service in Boston is often offered a bit begrudgingly im sorry to say. But not at Mias! Super friendly, smiley, happy and helpful. Great food, service and atmosphere. What more could you ask for?! You won't be disappointed.”

“Legal Sea Foods served my daily and I a wonderful dinner. Our server was pleasant and helpful, the atmosphere enjoyable, and they even served up lobster Mac and cheese on request though it was not on the menu. We had a great time and would gladly return.”
