“I had a great date night, it was our first time there and it was excellent. I was happy with everything from the food to the service from our server José. He was on point with everything, would love to have him next time again. But even the music was great, but obviously the food was the best of it all. Everyone should definitely check it out.”

“Went on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Wasn't expecting it to be so crowded. Waited about 15 minutes for a table which wasn't bad. Service and food were amazing. My mom and I both had the lobster bisque and it was outstanding. She had the crab cake as her entree and I had the cedar plank roasted salmon with green beans and roasted potatoes. They were out of this world. I have never fully finished a piece of salmon anywhere like I did there. The food also comes out super hot which was a plus. If you ever go ask for Kya, she was our server and was great! Highly recommend this place to anyone in chestnut hill.”

“Pretty good hot chicken sandwich, good bit spicier than I expected. Breading was interesting, a bit more crispy like potato chips than say standard fried chicken so I was a bit on the fence about it. Friends loved the regular sandwich.

There’s indoor and patio seating. Was mostly quiet, some music and golf TV in background but was a nice lunch spot to be able to hear conversation”

“I honestly can’t recommend this place anymore. They have a frequent customer punch card which once completed grants you a free sandwich. I went and redeemed my card and purchased 2 bags of chips and a Diet Coke. When I get to work I check my account and he charged me $11.77. I assume he forgot to give me my free sandwich and go back. He then goes on to tell me that the bags of chips are $2.50 each, he charged me another $2.50 because I asked for hot peppers on my sandwich. He then says the 20oz soda is $4.25… I know he arbitrarily made up these prices on the fly as I was obviously a frequent customer and none of this matches up to my previous purchases. If you don’t want people to get a free sandwich don’t have the card.”

“Lived in Chestnut Hill for 2 years. This was my favorite local spot to eat by far! Great food and service. Shout out to Jackie, who is one of the best waitresses I have ever met! Super friendly and always recognized me as a regular!”

“I visited the Chestnut Hill location. It had been a while since I came to this location. They renovated and made some changes to the menu. I ordered the goddess salad and added pickled onions but removed the carrots. I LOVE their salads. All the food is very fresh. The staff is helpful and the line moves quickly. I placed my order on the app while in the restaurant. When I placed the order, no one else was waiting, and there was no line. The preparer started my order as I watched, he was just about done with my order when a customer came in. Instead of finishing my order, he put it to the side, left it on the counter, and walked away to help the customer. It bothered me because all he had to do was put the cover on it, and my order would be completed, but he left it out in the open to prepare the walk-in's order. Thankfully, one of the other staff saw that I was waiting and proceeded with completing my order. She was very kind and attentive. I do enjoy the food at this establishment. It is always clean, and the utensils and napkin area is always fully stocked. (It's the little things I appreciate) They have a wide variety of add ons to design the salads to your liking. Great price for the amount of salad you receive. Every time I am in this area, I make it a point to stop and order a salad. Try them, you won't be disappointed!”

“I don’t exactly know what Chilacates means but their Steak Burritos are to die for. Authentic cuisine made with love. The prices are hidden until you pay which is unfortunate, besides that a great lunch/dinner spot in Chestnut Hill!”

“I have been buying the buttermilk berry cornbread such a unique flavor. It’s so good. I’m so addicted to it. I’ve never tasted such a grape flavor in ice cream ever.”

“I’ve been here a few times now and have always had a great time. It’s clean, quiet and because it’s at the mall, parking is never an issue. The coffee is delicious and smooth and it’s the best cappuccino I’ve had in Boston. Desserts are great too. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Honestly, zero complaints. I like coming here.”

“Everything was amazing tonight(valentine’s day).
I gave food 4 stars because its usually good but sometimes some things are a miss. Even though, if you stick to a few popular dishes they are always very good.

Service is always great.
Tonight the atmosphere specifically (with the signer they had) was amazing. Great night.”

“The food at Legal is always great. Service is excellent too. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand - it’s always busy.

Parking: It can get tight but it’s a big lot and I always find a spot pretty quickly.”
