She wanted to ensure that we were 100% satisfied with the food. Even the manager came over to our table to apologize for the food that didn’t meet our expectation. “The appetizers came very quickly(almost as the waiter left our table )and while we were eating them they started bringing the main courses we had to return them to the kitchen. We felt rushed. Then while eating the main course they started sweeping the floor and it was only 8 pm and there were many tables with diners still at the restaurant. It wasn't that they were sweeping the floor under a messy table, but at other areas also. Then when we asked for the check, the broom was left standing on a chair next to our table. We never had such an experience at any restaurant or at this Legal where we are regular customers“

“Hidden in the residential area is the best lobster roll I have ever eaten! The weather was nice last weekend, so this lobster lover finally came to check out the lobster roll at this seafood shop. Lobster sandwich: It is obviously just ordinary bread, but it is fried until fragrant and then filled with thick fresh lobster meat. It only needs simple seasoning - a little mayonnaise, salt, black pepper and green onions to highlight the freshness and sweetness of the lobster. The bread is fried in butter but not greasy, and the cold lobster meat tastes fresh and chewy, not fishy at all, and basically uses the meat from the lobster body, unlike the lobsterroll in many restaurants that is cooked with tongs. It tasted so delicious, so I asked specifically, thinking that some magical sauce was added to the seasoning, but I didn't expect it to be that simple. wonderful! (The price is slightly more expensive now, $35 each.)After finishing one, I bought a second one and continued eating it in the evening.From now on, I will eat here probably once a week, it is very good! !I went and bought two more yesterday^ ^ Delicious!“

There's limited street parking and I believe you are allowed to park in the lot by the grocery store. There's no sign saying otherwise. My friend parked there for the hour and a half we were there on a Saturday night and his car was still there.Edit from their website about parking: "There is plenty of street parking on BOTH sides of our street (Adams Street). This includes the area directly in front of the restaurant and across the street on the side of Russo’s Tux. “We had the cold style lobster roll and while pricey, it was really good. Nice, chunky bits in the lobster roll. The meat had a nice sweet quality that's indicative of lobster from Cape Cod. The bread was properly buttered and grilled.The only downside was they splashed vinegar in the lobster. It must be an acquired taste but not something I loved. Also the fries were overcooked and just not tasty.“

As advertised, their menu featured a blend of Italian pasta and Mediterranean seafood dishes.We started off our meal with the Crispy Calamari. It was a decent appetizer that aligned with the typical offerings of a modern Italian restaurant. Its seasoning was a tad overbearing, but it still set a nice tone for the meal.From their pasta selections, we opted for theWild Mushroom Mafalde and the Wild Boar Cocoa Pappardelle. The Pappardelle boasted a tender boar ragu with umami from Manchego, but it unfortunately suffered from a lack of cohesion. The pasta itself was slightly undercooked and lacked depth in flavor, failing to fully harmonize with the ragu. On the other hand, the Mafalde was enjoyable. The combination of garlic butter and Aleppo pepper introduced a welcomed acidity, and the interplay of textures between the al dente Mafalde and the succulent mushrooms was particularly satisfying.The highlight of the evening was the Seared Bronzino. Unlike many other Branzino dishes I've tried in Boston, which often fell flat in flavor, Porto’s rendition was masterfully-seasoned. Each bite struck a perfect balance between salinity and the sweet nuances of the squash purée.While Porto may not be the best Mediterranean spot in Back Bay, its seafood offerings, particularly the Seared Bronzino, make it worth a return visit. I went in knowing it was pricey and upscale which was fitting for the special occasion. Let me just say we had an absolutely incredible night. We had a larger party and Yasmin helped me plan the event and accommodated all of us. The hostess was even in on the surprise as she pretended to seat us for 2 when we arrived. Anthony was our server and he was so incredibly patient and fun and very very efficient. He and Yasmin made this a night to remember and I was able to relax knowing that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. We were even given a private room which we did not expect at all and that made our experience that much better. The food and atmosphere were just so great and so special. From my online booking experience (love being able to book a 11 person reservation online no problem!), to the great seating area (private corner so it felt so intimate even though the restaurant was packed), and last but not least, to the service!
