“As always our meal at Dovetail was spot on. I had the snapper and my wife the scallops. Bother dishes were thoughtfully prepared, attractive and very tasty. We've been fans for years and have never been disappointed in our meals at Dovetail or their sister restaurant, Brewers Fork.“

“I liked this brewery. The interior design was kind of industrial noir but with a friendly feeling and the layout for seating was done well. Very excited I got a seat at the window bar top. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They had a unique selection of beer, a few good choices with high ABV, and some beer types I’ve never heard of. I didn’t get one but they do offer flights. They also had a selection of games you could play at your table. The street parking was tricky but that’s because of the Cambridge and not the brewery’s fault.“
“Lots to like, with a couple of notes. Good oysters, good beer, delicious pickled mussels. The seafood is our entrees was very fresh and the scallops were standout. The execution of the spaghetti with clams fell a bit short in the execution: The dish was noticeably sandy and had some shards of shell. We also observed our poured beers sitting for a few minutes before someone picked them up and brought them to us. But overall it was a very good meal in a very pleasant, not too loud setting.“

“The drinks are good; however the space really needs some help. There are over 12 tables in a tiny space, packed against the high top tables, and this makes the space feel SO packed and uninviting. Really need someone to think about the design of this space and it would be 100x better. Maybe a communal table and then some small tables. Just some small tweaks would be a huge difference for this actually to feel like a good meeting spot.“
“We landed late a few weeks ago on our trip to Boston and were browsing the delivery apps for some late night pizza when we came across Pastoral and figured we give it a try when we saw the Chicken Parm pizza. We opted for the Chicken Parmesan and Margherita pizzas and the roasted garlic knot. The Chicken Parmesan was the star of the order for me. The chicken was perfectly fried and all the toppings were fresh and full of flavor, all on top of a wonderfully wood-fired crust. The Margherita pizza was perfectly cooked and full of flavor as well. I would honestly order both of these again if visiting again. The Garlic Knot on the other hand I would probably pass on. I am a garlic lover don't get me wrong, but this was a tad too much in my opinion. The dough itself was fairly thin and then it was loaded with probably 3 bulbs worth of garlic cloves. Just a bit too much in my opinion. All in all I would still recommend grabbing some pizzas here if ever in the area!“

Perogi’s were only okay, they were oily and not crispy. As for value, the bill was around $80 for: 2 mains, 1 app, 1 soda, 1 cocktail and a 20% tip. “500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“
“It's right in front of Quincy Market, so I stayed there during the day and went to have a beer at night.As soon as you enter, there is a goods shop on the left such as tea, cups, and dolls.The store has two floors and is very spacious!A DJ plays songs on the stage downstairs.The song selection was good and the atmosphere was great.I tried the Best 4 sampler of beer, and beers 2 and 4 were the most delicious.It's a shame I couldn't order a larger portion because I was full.I recommend it to anyone who wants to go to a pub in Boston!!I think it would be perfect to have dinner at Quincy Market along the route.“

“Was staying in Medford, working in Boston for 18 days. The food was so good I ate there 16 of the 18 days I was there.(tried some Italian restaurants while I was there the other 2 nights). Everything I ate was great! The chili was the best I’ve ever ate, the wings were awesome, the loaded nachos, the steak tips, the meatloaf, sweet potato fries, the brussel sprouts, the collard greens, were all great and some of the best southern food I’ve ever ate and I’m from South Alabama! And the drinks were great also. It was my home away from home for 2 1/2 weeks. The atmosphere was very welcoming, Scott, Erin and Sylvia took great care of me. We don’t have places like this down here. 12 out of 10 rating for me! Hope I get to come back and visit. Thanks for making a fella from Tanner Williams, Alabama feel welcome.“
“That the young man overseeing the entrance and merch counter was reading Sartre’s The Plague was a good sign. So was being located along and near the end of the Somerville Community Path, at least to this cyclist in need of a pit stop. There are three standards by which to rate a microbrewery: food, physical location and quality of beer. Since I only had time (and good sense) for one marzen lager at the bar (tasty and refreshing), and tried none of their food, I can’t rate their beer or food. However, as a place to hang out, either inside—open but small enough to seem cozy, or outside on the patio overlooking The Common, it rates a 5.“

“Went to the Locke Bar for lunch and thought the menu had a great variety of choices. I had 2 appetizers for my lunch (lamb & hummus and the Brussels sprouts) and my husband got the burger. The lamb & hummus was tasty. The lamb was shredded and served with pine nuts and pita. It was a great flavor balance with the pita. The Brussels were crisp and flavorful, I enjoyed every bite. My husband is picky about burgers and thought the Locke burger was perfectly cooked and the sauce on it added a nice punch. I tried a couple of fries and they had a great crunch. I will definitely go back and try some other things on the menu.“

I also like the AC Milan banners. The Antipasto was ok, I would have preferred served more as a misto instead of a cold cut plate. The garlic bread it came with was the best part. Meatballs are homemade and tasty so get them on the pizza. They do not have pepperoni as a topping was a little of a let down. I get it pepperoni is not authentic. But I like it! Pizza would probably score a 6.8 on the One Bite app if I were to score it. It's OK.“
