“So many Portuguese restaurants in Fall River... it's hard to know where to go! Well, T A Restaurant is a pretty solid option. Compared to some of the other spots I've been to in town, the ambiance was on the nicer/more modern side. They've got plenty of choices in terms of Meat & Poultry and Seafood. Our waitress was really nice and helped me decide on a dairy-free dish. My friend and I both opted for seafood. I got the Bacalhua a Casa (shredded codfish) and my friend got the Bacalhua Assado (salted cod). To be honest, I found my fish to be a bit overcooked, but I'm not sure if that's just because the fish was shredded. I tried a bite of the salted cod and the cook on that was perfect. The plating is also really nice, so I'd recommend for anyone looking for a bit of a more upscale dining experience.“
“No better deal than 2 entreés and a bottle of wine for less than $40 (Sunday through Thursday nights). My friend and I both went with the Steak Portuguese Style, which came with fries and rice. The portion size was substantial and the egg on top of the steak was te perfect touch! My only complaint in terms of the food was that we ordered vegetables on the side and those sides were really small. The restaurant itself was pretty nice and there was plenty of seating. Our waitress was very sweet and helped us select our bottle of wine. If I had a place like this closer to me in Boston, I'd be there all the time. Really can't go wrong!“
“Went about 315 pm on a Sunday got parking across st .. free on Sunday .. 6 people got tabel right away . 5 Sodas ,1 water .We ordered 2 surf n turf , 2 steak plates , 2 Jr steak plates .all the food was great,but eggs could have been a little runnier. ruffly 150$ bill with tip .. service is laid back wich I like . need something just ask .“
“Tonight was our first time at BarCa and it was amazing! Definitely a small hidden gem in Fall River. The food and wine were excellent. The place is small and the service is slowly paced, but if you're looking for a romantic night or a night of catching up with friends, it's perfect! The house red wine was excellent - full bodied and smooth. For meals, we got the shrimp Mozambique, the chicken Mozambique and the tuna. All three of us LOVED our meals! The Mozambique sauce is perfectly seasoned. For dessert, we split the chocolate cake, which was also very good.“
“What an amazing place to go. The food is always on point, freshness guaranteed. The staff is so super friendly, I go here at least 5 - 6 times a week and for the food that you get it is so reasonable. Best part is you can sit down and eat and if your in a rush no worries they have prepared food and even if you order the plates it comes out so fast.Give this place a shot you will not be disappointed.“
“We went there for a Christmas party and it was not disappointing. The Portuguese food was delicious with nothing negative to say about any of it. We had buffet style so we got to taste many of their dishes and deserts. Definitely on our list for good Portuguese food dining.“
“I have been eating here since I was a kid that lived a couple of blocks down. I always get the steak with fries, rice, and an egg and it’s delicious every time. The staff here are always sweet and treat the customers well. It’s an awesome place to be and I treasure it every time!“
“Just phenomenal everytime. I think it's my favorite restaurant in Fall River. The Porto restaurants in Fall River mostly have the same dishes, so it's the subtleties of the experience that stand out between the establishments. The Clipper is as authentic as it gets.“
“Great services and ambiance. Appetizers were great. Some things on the menu were not available. Plenty of good things but definitely could be perfected. Example no Mozambique sauce on their chicken Mozambique brought out after. Some of the party said oversalted. Missing ingredients in salad. When you pay the prices asked you expect perfection. Though food was good was not perfect. Servers were impeccable very attentive and pleasant.“
“What a wonderful dining experience. My wife and I stopped there for our first time on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. We’d never been and we were craving a Portuguese restaurant. We sat at the bar. Mackenzie was our bartender and she was excellent! She was attentive and friendly. She’s top notch! We ordered some drinks and our lunch items. They were SO quickly delivered. So here are our thoughts: the Portuguese pops were amazing! They are from a local bakery right nearby. They are hearty and crusty. Delicious pops! My wife had the steak sandwich with 1 egg - she wished she’d ordered 2! It was delicious served with the Portuguese style fries. I had the Portuguese fish filets. SO excellent. 3 pieces of very thick cod loins - not thin pieces at all. So, originally I was worried about the prices, but there is SO much being served it’s definitely worth it. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she’s a wonderful hostess. We’ll be back for sure and we highly recommend it.“
