“Best Fish & Chips in the area. The Buffalo shrimp pasta is outstanding. The ordering is a little strange. The bar is separate from the restaurant so you order your drinks from one person and food from another. It's not fancy but the food is outstanding and a good price.“

“Pleasantly surprised!! The menu was a little challenging for us to read. Lots of words we didn't recognize and honestly nothing was really jumping out at us for some reason. But then we started to see some food walking by to other tables (we needed a visual menu lol) and knew it was gonna be good. Ceasar salad was insanely good. Came with smoked blue fish it was the perfect meal. Fantastic clam chowder. Homemade bread. Everything was homemade or local and you could tell they take great pride in everything they make and serve, including an espresso martini made with so much love. “We had our wedding at IH two weeks ago and it was the perfect venue for us. Connie and Anne were extremely helpful the entire process always answering our questions and getting back to us in a very quick manner. The day of coordinator was also great, Matt made sure we had what we needed and helped the day go by smoothly. On top of that independence harbor has monthly brunches open to the public that are great for a brunch affair. Overall beautiful grounds, great food, excellent service, and well priced.“

I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. “Our first time trying this restaurant and we were not disappointed. It was early in the morning so not crowded at all but even if it was the dining room is spacious and inviting. Our server was friendly and helpful explaining the menu. My wife chose the traditional eggs Benedict which she never had before and loved it. I went with the 3 eggs, home fries, and toast with a side of chourico. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. To top it off the price was great.“

“I am usually picky when it comes to restaurants. Food was absolutely incredible. Wings and kale soup were perfectly cooked and our meals were out in 10 minutes. Our apps were out in 5! The drinks were a very strong pour. Maybe even too much! I won’t complain considering how bars and restaurants usually skimp out. 3rd time here and i am more impressed than the first 2 times and those were great.“
“We love it here, the food is delicious except they put way too much salt on their home fries. The staff is wonderful too. The only thing is they charge you $2.50 for butter which most other restaurants don't charge anything. Overall a lovely place.“
