“South Street is my favorite pizzeria in Massachusetts. I moved here eight years ago after growing up in Brooklyn and Queens New York. I am a huge pizza snob. Most local places in this state do bad imitations of what they think pizza from New York is like. South Street is a different style but the sauce the cheese and the crust are always delicious and cooked perfect. wat is just as important. Is that George and the other crew here treat us like family. This is my go to place for birthday parties for ordering pizza for my students at school or for family pizza nights. We just moved to Norton and still come here for pizza because it’s better than anything else in our new town.I should add the buffalo wings are my favorite local wings also. And the chicken parm hero, they call it a sub here, is amazing.“

However, the service was a bit slow, as it took quite some time for our food to arrive. Nonetheless, when the dishes finally made their way to our table, they were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the basil-infused pasta, which was bursting with flavor. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food, but I do wish the portions were a tad larger. “I'll admit it -- we are those people. The ones who weren't going to go out on Valentine's Day until we decided we were. And it turns out we weren't the only ones. The place is frequented by regulars for sure with a bar on one side and a slightly more formal sit down dining room on the other. When we arrived we waited for about 10 minutes and were seated at a high top near the bar area. During this time another couple got frustrated with the single waitress to be seen after she dropped off some food to them. This couple was not empathetic at all and then expressed that to the waitress in a condescending tone on what was probably one of the busiest nights there. The same woman was our waitress and it was clear she was running around from dining room to bar room without a single moment to catch her breath. She did great! Obviously the kitchen was swamped too but we knew to adjust our expectations accordingly for timing. Food was delicious, incredible value. Calamari was a generous portion and could definitely be a small family appetizer on its own. My husband commented that you will not find a steak for less than $35 in the area and I think this one was $25 or so? Truffle fries were excellent. I got the bolognese and it was comforting and a big portion. We'll definitely come back on a less busy night but overall it was a good experience!“

“We love this place. We come here when we visit our friends and take a trip to the outlets. This is our third time back. When the weather is nice there is outdoor seating. Inside is small but quaint. It has a homey feel to it. The gentleman sat us very quickly and we were greeted immediately. Water was served with warm bread and garlic oil to start, which is one of my favorite things here. My fiancé ordered the Tagliatelle con Salsiccia e Pollo. It's one of my favorite dishes, I only wish it came with more of that pasta! This time I tried the Pollo Mediterranean. The chicken and eggplant was great with the ricotta. I wish the pasta was tossed in the sauce as it was a little bland on its own but better once mixed in. It was a double patty burger and it was out of this world good. my only issue was that the fries were a bit soggy, but fries are temperamental via delivery anyway so whatever, and the flavor of them was 100% on point. Also of note, the burger itself had a really nice char broiled flavor that wasn't overpowering, just a damn good burger that reminded me of a good bbq. Thank you!“

“Our server was the one who made all the difference. We frequent Chateau quite a bit (have for years). This is the first time we have ever been disappointed with the food. Soggy toasted raviolis, fries that tastes like they were fried with the same oil as the fish, broccoli that seemed ‘off' and my chicken parm sandwich was just not up to your usual standards. We know we were a bit late (yes, we did call with our apologies) and the kitchen staff may have been turning over for the second shift. But our server, she was AWESOME. Appetizer of PEI mussels, also excellent, but a little messy.. desserts were great, cheesecake and cannoli. Since we were there last, about 15 years ago, they have updated and redecorated. Dining room is lovely and comfortable, bathrooms are immaculate. Definitely won't wait another 15 years to go for dinner again. This will be one of our favorites!“
