My wife ordered first , a piece of fillet with potato purée and a red wine Demi glaze. My turn, panicked as I had 4 meals in my head that all sounded excellent but went with the classic veal Parmesan with homemade Rigatoni that is a huge upgrade from dry pasta . Veal was so tender , no knife required with well seasoned breading . The fillet was also tender, and well seasoned, she gave me 1 little bite? . If Tuscan onion soup is available when you visit here , GET IT !!! . Fantastic Italian take on French onion soup that was 10 time better. I rarely write reviews but this was a great meal . “Delicious food! So many good choices it was hard to decide. "Fire and Ice" with chicken, shrimp carbonara, chicken calabria were all yummy. Delicious infused vodka and some "unusual suspects" for beers. Food and drinks came quickly and food was steaming hot. Would definitely come again. Right off the highway so great place to try if you're passing through.“

“If anyone has a problem with their food… just tell them. We’ve been going since they opened and that’s a longggg time. It’s just good food. Good basic food. Clean. Fresh. Affordable.We like the pizza, the cheese hamburger sub, and Greek salad. Often we get the chicken Alfredo and that’s very good.It’s a pizza place. You can sit and eat. We often do. Today, given prices and quality, we rank this one of the area’s best.They’re friendly, and service I always good. It can get very busy.We HIGHLY recommend.“
“I've been going to Gene's since I was about 11, so 1981!!!! Of course, back then, it was for candy and soda, lol!! As I got older, I realized what a hidden gem it truly is! They have great subs and pretty much anything Italian. Not just the deli but stocked on the shelves as well. I don't make sauce because theirs is so good. Makes my life easier to boot! Thank you Gene's. Everyone who works there is very nice and wicked happy to help. Every time I go in, it brings back memories of walking to the pool and stopping at Gene's on our way there. I've never been disappointed or dissatisfied with anything I've gotten here! That's a lot over 42 years. Just sayin lol!“
