“Great little fuss-free spot in Chelsea, had a great meal on a very busy Sunday night. Really enjoyed my chicken flautas and the green sauce that came with it was amazing. Best refried beans I’ve ever eaten! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pork adobado tacos. Prices were incredibly reasonable for the portion sizes. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Found this hidden gem on Instagram one day and the birria tacos served here looked insane so of course I had to try it! The restaurant is small but the staff are super sweet. You can try and walk in; however, the place does fill up quickly so try and get a reservation if you can! Started off with an order of guacamole and chips with some salsa and upon first glance it looks pretty regular. But the first bite of the guacamole and you can feel how smooth and zesty it's been made. The salsa was also delicious with some heat! For entrees ordered the Al pastor burrito and of course the birria tacos. The burrito was massive and a very interesting take on a burrito as it was crispy and seared well unlike most burritos which are usually quick soft and floppy.But no flops here. Pair each bite with the guac or salsa and it's perfect moving on to the star of the show, why I came here! The birria looks amazing. I loved how crispy the fried cheese was. Similar to the burrito, most birria taco spots make a wet and floppy taco, but no flops here!! The meat was super tender and you can tell it's been stewed inside the consume for hours maybe even days?! Each bite was better than the last.My only warning is due be mindful of how much consume you're consuming as it's a little salty and you might not notice it until after you've left the restaurant or even the next day.“

“Walked into Angela's on a frigid Monday morning a few minutes after opening. Indescribable feeling of being hit with the lovely aroma of breakfast and the bright, lively interior and the smiles from the staff. Tables were perfectly set up, and everything was so clean and inviting. As soon as we took our coats off, the wait staff was there with attentiveness (and fresh coffee). The menu is just incredible: an interweaving of Mexican and American classics, with standalone dishes in each culinary style. The portions were generous and appetizing. Everything about this place is wonderful - my second time here, first time was just as good.“

“Was in the mood for a burrito and for some odd reason somerville hasn’t been it for burritos as of late… so I decided to look around and found this spot. Idk how long they have been open but decided to give it a shot based of the reviews. I can honestly say it’s one of the best burritos I’ve had in a very long time. “I have been a regular customer at Angela’s Cafe Orient Heights (particularly during breakfast) for the past several years! Every time I have been a customer at Angela’s, I have had an excellent experience! The wait staff is phenomenal, the food is delicious (I recommend the chilaquiles), and the atmosphere is great! I would definitely recommend Angela’s Cafe to anyone looking for an amazing bite to eat for breakfast in East Boston! One piece of advice that I must share is to make sure to come early and prepare to wait to be seated, especially during weekends, holidays, etc. All of the locals (myself included) know how amazing the food is here, and the restaurant is on the smaller side, so there is frequently a line out the door for breakfast! “New taqueria in Union Square with satisfying Mexican dishes.With so many Mexican spots in East Somerville, I initially perceived Picante as just another taqueria offering standard burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. I recently dropped by this place while walking my dog, and found the place empty during peak dinner hours. To my pleasant surprise, Picante offered special dishes like Carne Asada and Pollo Asado - both my go-to dishes at authentic Mexican restaurants.Since the restaurant looked like a standard counter-serve kitchen, I was surprised when they brought a huge slap of meat from downstairs and put it on the grill. It took quite a bit to get them prepared, but the wait was worth it. The chicken from Pollo Asado was exceptionally tender, complemented by a medley of fresh vegetable toppings. With the occasional coarse grain of salt, each bite was further enhanced by a delightful burst of salty umami. The Carne Asada, although slightly overcooked, remained a savory and enjoyable dish.With its subtle surprises and quality Mexican specialty plates, Picante is a place I would probably frequent more. The experience with their standard burritos and tacos may be a bit different, but these dishes are certainly worth trying.“

Foods are generally good and well served. Price is a bit high. Some meter parkings are available by chance on Mass ave and the streets nearby. “So I tried this place a few months back and I took one bite and gave it to a homeless guy. However I decided to give it a 2nd shot. I must say very impressed. The guacamole and rice needs more flavor but overall the rice bowl was on point. There was only one guy working (which I feel is a little bit of abuse especially were this is located in the heart of symphony & Berkelee College.) The line was out the door and the guy was handling online orders, in store orders and ringing them up. He deserves a raise for real! He did all of this with such ease and greeted us all with a smile.“

“Great fast/casual restaurant. Low-key atmosphere. We got 4 tacos and the avocado fries. The avocado fries had breading that wasn't that exiting, but it came with a cilantro ranch that was wonderful. I got the vegetable taco, my husband got the pork belly taco and we each got a pastor taco. Each were very good. Excited to try some different tacos next time! There were many other types to choose from. The service was prompt. We had a nice meal and a nice time today. I'd love to try some of the tasty sounding beverages they had on the menu next time. “A small little spot for a quick Mexican bite. Portions are good. I'd hoped my burrito came with some chips on the side like most other places do, but at least the burrito was filling. Had my burrito had just 15-20% more steak I would've given max stars. All in all still very good. I placed my order in English and my parents were able to place theirs in Spanish just as easily thanks to the bilingual staff. It's a small thing, but I appreciate it!“

I had a burrito and my coworker ordered four tacos, and both dishes flavorful, fresh, cooked to perfection and therefor devoured. The salsas were absolutely amazing!! I really mean really amazing. I always judge a restaurant on how good the salsa is, well it's 10 out of 5 stars. As for service our waitress was awesome. I order birria any time I see it on a menu, and Lone Star delivered; it was wonderfully fatty and rich. A surprise for me though was how good the grilled avocado taco was. I'm not sure I've ever had avocado not raw, but it was downright fantastic - their salsa verde is great in general, so that paired quite well. Certainly a fun spot, and the patio out back for nice weather sure doesn't hurt (although not much of a view).“

Other drinks around me looked appealing. Heard that the bartender can make anything to your liking. Next time!! Food menu isn't that grand, the draw is the bar and live music. You can get as much as you want ( but don't fill your stomach before you get your food ) ??? nice and smiling staff. Ready to help but some don't speak English. One waiter was nice but didn't bring me a fork for like 15 minutes, had to go and ask for it myself. Bathrooms relatively clean. “Came back a second time and enjoyed a couple of entrees - sombrero fajitas (chx, beef, and shrimp), and a plate of taquitos. Food was super yummy - although I could nitpick and say that the ratio of meat on the fajita platter was way skewed towards the cheaper chicken - only had a few skimpy pieces of beef and three shrimp - but whatever. Service can be slow if they're busy, but everyone is friendly. This is now in the regular rotation for low-key date nights!“
