“Very homey, love this place”

“My husband and I go to Nantucket every year, and this was our first time at Greydon House; it was my favorite stay thus far on the island. Charming rooms, fantastic location and a chic restaurant on site. Tom, the manager (sorry if I messed the name up), could not have been nicer or more obliging, and was extremely knowledgeable about the island. Front desk team was very helpful as well. This will be my go to stay on Nantucket!”

All was very fresh, decadent and presentatiom was lovely. The service was great too, everyone was very attentive.”

“A great neighborhood spot! 45 just gets better as the years go on. Their ham and cheese croissant is now my no. 1 on the island, dethroning another (also fabulous) bakery.

One summer, they had these street corn nachos, and we still talk about them.

“Visited Nantucket Friday. Checked menu at several places before selecting Walter's Deli. Had the corn beef/pastrami Reuben. My favorite sandwich and I am a seafood guy. Fantastic and delicious!!! Generous portions and priced right. My wife had the roast beef sandwich. It was a hit as well. Person that made the sandwiches was a nice guy to boot.

Sat on a bench in front of a realtor's office. Realtor asked me where I bought the Reuben because it looked so good.”

​The food is truly excellent. For my lunch, the Jamon and Manchego sandwich was a standout: a perfect balance of salty, cured ham and sharp, nutty cheese.

The side of tender artichokes was a delicious treat, accompanying a fresh salad for dinner.

“The best dining experience I’ve ever had on the island and one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere.The warm welcome we received from the moment we entered set the tone for an evening that will long be remembered. Chef Tony’s preparation of everything from the octopus to the cheese soufflé was perfect. Each dish we ordered was presented beautifully and was truly photo worthy.

“I spent a couple weeks on the island working and I have to say the vegan options were absolutely abysmal overall. HOWEVER, Scooters is one of the only exceptions! It is definitely still Nantucket priced so it isn't cheap but it is legitimately tasty and the portions are huge. Like the other review says, it is a chipotle style place where you choose a base, a protein, and some veggies and dressing. If you go on their website and try to place an order you can see allergy info of every ingredient more easily to get an idea of what you might want but I would still ask if you are unsure. I really enjoyed the tofu (maybe it's because I was facing some pretty severe tofu withdrawal while on the island 😂). I remember there being two sauce choices that were vegan at the time: a lemon vinaigrette and the teriyaki sauce. The lemon one paired better with the herb tofu seasoning in my opinion but both were nice. A friend of mine really enjoyed the smoothies they had as well.”

“It was quick- i ordered 2 burritos. They make them how you want them. Then you pay and you're on your way bing, bang boom- i don't know what would happen if I would have ordered like a cheeseburger or something. I may have to circle back sometime-no Montucky Cold Snacks- and I don't think there were any drinks- except like, yeah, water, iced tea, cokes-
None of the fun stuff, but the staff was great. Very helpful. Fantastic burritos way to be Boat House!”

“Lunch time and we were seated right away. S3rvice was great, and food was great! Husband had the reuben, and it was tasty and generous in size. My 2 yr old had the kids fish and chips and he gobbled that right up. I had a garden sald and the Guinness onion soup, it was tasty and fresh!”

“I just had the best 70th birthday dinner here! Chef Joseph created a delicious menu and paired wines. The Company Popovers accompanied a crisp Caesar salad, Wagyu beef and a lobster tail with smashed potatoes & broccolini was the entree, rounded out with “The Marriage of Crème Brûlée + Chocolate Mousse” and Dows Fine Sherry Port. The service was spectacular (thank you Johnny) and the intimate and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience for my party of 10. I recommend this place for a singular and memorable experience!”

“We sat with some locals on the ferry over to Nantucket and they told us we had to stop by for their Acai bowl and other breakfast/baked good items. The pumpkin bread was delicious and I went back every day for another piece to go with my Chai which they made with steamed milk and it was delicious. I opted for the almond milk b/c they make it fresh in house. They seem to make a lot of items in house, as well as the granola and even the dog cookies for the pup cups (I overheard them talking about it). The ice cream selection was great too and one day I tried the Pumpkin- YUM! My husbands favorite was sea salt caramel on a chocolate waffle cone which we had never had before, but glad we did. The outdoor patio was also a good place to take a break and people watch.”

Well you know, in the morning? Top Notch nothing but the best all around and Sam loves it too, my place also has a bartenderess named Sam what could be better, and as a bartenderess I have never met feiner and I have been around for those who don't know me, I'm not only an old hippie that don't know what to do but I've spent some time on both sides of the bar and she is Bar None Stellar personal service and you don't find that much no more oh, that's all I have to say about that, you will have to make your own decisions Beyond this report”

“I’ve eaten here several times and it always exceeds my expectations. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very lively. Remind you of a club or restaurant you would see in posh Miami but with the Naples vibe definitely will be back eat outside if you can it’s great.”

“I have been going to Nantucket for years and finally found Island Kitchen this past August; one of the best meals to be had on the island. We ate outside by the bar and despite a bit of rainy weather; we throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine; the service was excellent and we have earmarked a return visit this August.”

“This is a family business and you can feel it! The food, coconut based ICE CREAM and boba are all amazing. Genuine Thai ice cream flavors like ube, Thai tea and yummy toppings like sticky rice and mochi. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. Prices are affordable too.”

Now to the beer. I must say I was dissapointed. It could not be my style of beer but I did notice the quality of cisco consistently falls sideways as they continue regional expansion, even their classics are somewhat unrecognizable nowadays. Fortunately for them they have branded themselves so well--most will equate it with Cape/Island Beach Beer..If you are a big IPA drinker, I can see the hype, but if you enjoy lagers and ales I'd skip wholeheartedly....
