“A delicious Greek-spot in Back Bay. I made the reservation about 2 months in advance for a dinner reservation. What I will note, is that they have plenty of bar seating - if you arrive at opening (5PM/530PM), it seems like you can snag a spot quickly! The food was amazing - we shared everything tapas-style. The tzatziki dish was fun, they brought you all the ingredients to make yourself at the table. The rest of the food was incredibly flavorful. In addition, the wine list was expansive. We were served wine that was recommended by our waiter and it was great. Definitely a popular spot in Boston if you have interest in going! Parking is difficult in the area but you can ride share/take the T!“

“We really enjoyed eating and spending some time here. The sandwiches and coffee were delicious with high quality ingredients. The staff was incredibly friendly and came to check on us a few times and asked a few questions. They even gave us a complimentary dessert to share!“

“Sarma has been on the food bucket list for the past 4.5 years and we finally made it! We were lucky to nab a reservation for 5:45pm a month in advance (many calendar reminders later...). The restaurant started out with a lot of empty reserved tables (though the bar was full with walk-ins from the beginning) that quickly filled up as the evening progressed. The ambience is lovely, the menu is a delight (I really appreciate the glossary on the side), and the service was great. We were recommended to order around 5 dishes for 2 people, and ended up getting 7. While it was a lot of food and we had to pack up about 1 dish's worth of food to-go, I don't regret trying a lot of items! I'll summarize my top picks from what we tried.Delicious, would definitely get again- The beef carpaccio ($23) was a delight. There were crunchy deep fried noodles, delicious sauces, fresh salad mix, all on top of tender beef. And, unexpectedly, a perfectly soft boiled egg/deep fried egg. When I showed this dish to my Turkish friend, he said "Oh yes, these are Turkish breakfast items." What an inventive and delicious way to reimagine breakfast as a carpaccio!- The garlic shrimp lamejun ($22) was so delicious! I think there may have been some spiced shrimp paste as the "meat" layer on the flatbread in addition to the tender grilled shrimp on top, and both were delicious. I loved all of the sauces, vegetables, and flavors here. Would definitely get again!- The black sea cornbread ($17) came highly recommended by our waitress and friends and it didn't disappoint! It has an almost rice-cake like glutinous texture with the perfect combination of feta, honey, and buttery flavors. It smells like heaven and it tastes so good. I will be trying to recreate this at home.Good, may get again- The fried mussels ($17) were quite good. My favorite part was actually the papaya salad on the side -- it was deliciously flavored, crunchy, and fresh. The mussels were tender and juicy inside of the breading, and interspersed with deep fried vegetables. The green curry tarator sauce didn't really stand out, though.- The brussels sprout bravas ($14) with chorizo ($2) had a really nice smoky paprika flavor but the sprouts themselves were not that special/got drowned in the sauce. I would've preferred crispier sprouts.- The sesame fried chicken with tahini sauce ($15 for 4 pieces) that comes out every so often from the kitchen was good, but didn't have strong flavors. The chicken was boneless and very tender, and the breading was crispy though a bit greasy.Wouldn't get again- The cheese saganaki grits ($16) were very interesting. I saw "okra gumbo" in the description and couldn't pass it up, but the gumbo component was minimal and drowned out by the cheese. I did like the grits, but I think there was too much cheese relative to the more tasty parts of the dish (grits, okra gumbo), and there was also a lot of acidic flavor from the tomatoes. Our waitress also kindly brought us some orange creamsicle ice cream and a candle for our anniversary. The ice cream tastes just like an orange creamsicle. We were too stuffed to try any desserts, but maybe next time we will plan our meal out better!I'd definitely love to return to Sarma to try more of their foods. I really appreciated how a lot of the dishes balanced out any heaviness with fresh salads (which were perfectly seasoned in their own rights). I was worried about having ordered too many rich/creamy things, but I needn't have worried! Everything was delicious, fresh, and distinct. The food also came out really quickly, so finishing within the 1 hour and 45 minute time limit is totally doable. Our total came out to around $165 including tax and tip, which was much less than we were expecting to pay (to be fair, we didn't get drinks or dessert), and we ended up stuffed with leftovers. Looking forward to my next visit!“

“Decent fusion mediterranean cuisine in Cambridge. It was bit hard to make a reservation due to the popularity. Keep in mind that the entrance is around the building, not at the main street.Food was good and delicious; all dishes had their unique taste with style, but they are not at the level of my expectation. I would give 4.5 star if I can, but food was not at the 5 star.Service was okay, but slow due to the popularity of the restaurant. Keep in mind this is one of the restaurants where the kitchen appreciation fee is automatically applied to your bill.Atmosphere is somewhat noisy and pub-like. Great place for a night date with your people, but if you prefer quite place this would not be a good option.Kid-friendliness: No“

“The food was great! Depends on what you ordered. The beginning we had good service. Our waitress disappeared for at least 1 hours after the main course was served. We were not able to take a look at the dessert menu, just felt like we were just sitting there for a very long time. Other than that the helpers with the black outfit gave us the dessert menu after we stopped them. After we ordered the dessert, we got our check quickly. The whole time we didn’t get refill of hot water.“

“Well, Sorellina does it again! We are thinking that Sorellina right now is the best restaurant in Boston, if you can pull it off! Service is awesome, food is superb! And we got a very interesting couple sitting next to us to have a great chit chat! Our food was split in 2 as requested. We love splitting an appetizer (tuna tartar is to die for), followed by primi size pasta dish (linguini with mushrooms), polishing with veal Milanese along with polenta.... Just superb! Wines by the glass are great- I had a glass of Chablis for pasta and a glass of Montepuciano for the veal-wow! Too bad we had to run to see the show, so missed the dessert this time. And the ambiance is super! Will come back soon...and you should too!“

“I needed appetizers for a family get together, with the recommendation of the owner, I got a few dips, pita bread and cheese. My guests loved the mouhamra dip, the baba ganoush, the humus, , the beet dip and especially the yogurt . At the restaurant, we enjoyed the cheese bread baked that morning. If you like your baklava with pistachio, that’s the place to buy it. Loved everything and the service was superior.“
“The food there was amazing and the person at the cashier who served us was WONDERFUL! He came back to check on us often, he was VERY friendly, and we had a really nice talk. Would definitely come again, huge thank you to him, and indubitably this restaurant should get more than 5 stars.“

“The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.“

“Superiorly delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced is how I would describe the food at My Other Kitchen most concisely. Their Greek salad with chicken souvlaki is addictively good - it goes great with George's pita bread. Their hamburger tastes better than any burger I have had elsewhere, even at much higher prices! I highly recommend this place for takeout, but they also have limited seating inside and bigger tables outside in the warmer months.“

“This place was recommended to me by a close friend to try, so I made a point to drop by today, and I'm extremely glad I made that choice.Oftentimes when I have a wrap, I usually don't think much of it, it doesn't remind me of what I've had in Paris or in Montreal, referring to the Shawarma trucks. When I came inside, I asked the gentleman behind the counter what is a popular recommendation, what meat choice is fresh and so forth. The chicken shawarma was recommended, as a wrap, that wasn't my first choice I was thinking in my head but I wanted to go with what they were suggesting, and I'm glad that I did. They told me that it would be pretty garlicky and if I was okay with that, and optionally there are onions that he would add too, and I said give me everything.I added a side of hummus as well, which came with pita bread, as I usually like to try people's hummus when I can.I sat down, small cafe like environment, with some great looking hand-painted murals of Aleppo and Armenia, which I did learn it was by local artist which made me really excited. Lunch time, weekday, not crowded, got lucky on the parking.I first got my hummus served first, it was a delight, and I specially love the thin pita bread, that was tender and fresh not hard like a old piece of sunbaked cardboard. While sipping my diet coke, I got lost in the painting in front of me which was a village in armenia, completely mesmerizing in terms of energy.Moments later my wrap was served, and I was excited, because it wasn't the big hard pita bread wrap that I often times see here in the east coast, at least in the Greater Boston area, and it was tightly wrapped, what I mean is it was condensed and tight, not loose and airy, as those loose and airy wraps I often times get falls apart in my hands and pretty much it's a poor eating experience. And I'm glad I got the onions, it's pretty much my first rap that I've eaten here in the Greater Boston area that really sung a wonderful song in my heart, from a foodie to a foodie, this isn't your regular chicken shawarma wrap. It actually didn't remind me of what I usually think of chicken from would taste like, which oftentimes carry the traditional American trappings of iceberg lettuce, and common and mundane ingredients. This had ingredients that I am not natively familiar with, I don't know if it's sumac or a mysterious sauce I haven't tried yet but the onions and the other vegetable like ingredients which I should have paid attention to, a very bright contrasting backdrop against the chicken, which was amazing in its own right, although I'm not a chicken guy, the whole collective eating experience was new to me at least here in america. And dare I say, unlike a meat wrap with veggies that oftentimes boring wraps are, this had the feeling of a medicinal quality, and a feeling of the food temperatures like hot and colds, that often times European cultures in folk, as well as Chinese cultures. Exciting ingredient play that works off of each other that were both sublime, with a deceptive front pallet attack. The garlic oil which the gentleman described was, simply a lot of garlic, really is yet another level of wrap of the whole food experience.tldr; an exciting gem of a place in which my wrap experience superseded anything I've had here in New England thus far.Vegetarian options: They had a lot of other vegetable options, not sure about vegan, but I'm sure you're familiar with what those might be such as falafel, and vegetable wraps, I believe there are also salads too, not to diminish the vegetarian world's experience.“

“My partner and I recently went with another couple to Juniper on a Saturday night. Since they don't take reservations, we arrived at 5:00 PM.We looked at the menu and were pleased with the options. We ordered drinks (Icarus Lane for me) and an appetizer (matbucha) and then settled into the delightful task of selecting an entree selection from a refreshingly unusual menu. Three of us ordered the chicken Schnitzel. All of us were glad we made that choice. The portions were so large that two of the party took some home.We asked our server about dessert options, and she suggested the date cake dessert. It was certainly large enough for two people. My partner nibbled at it which left lots for me.It was one of the most unique desserts I've ever had. At the end of the evening by this time the restaurant was packed I asked David if he had a minute. He stopped amid the bustle and hustle, and I told him that I'd love to go to a restaurant when I eat a delicious meal that I have no idea how I would begin to prepare at home. When we left, the dining room and bar were full; we never felt pushed to leave although in hindsight I’m sure people were waiting for the table.I would really recommend if it's in your driving radius to check the place out. I know I'm looking forward to going back again.“

“Loved this place. Will come back often. The waitstaff were fantastic. Attentive, professional, and quick! For apps we got the calamari + house meatballs. The latter came with the in-house focaccia, which was some of the best bread I've ever had in my life. It's a must-try here, for sure.I had the shrimp pappardelle and it was amazing. I was torn between taking half of it home and just finishing it off at the table, and, well, I couldn't leave it for later. My only complaint is that when I go back I'll want to try their pizza, but the made-fresh pasta was so good I'm not sure how to skip it. “What a great place! We found this while searching for vegan/vegetarian spots in the area. We got dolmas, a falafel pita wrap and a hummus and veggie pita wrap. “This place is worth visiting and then returning to eat all the things you couldn't order the first time! We shared the octopus, musakhan duck rolls, and lamb -- and all were so flavorful and hearty. Our wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly, it made the entire dining experience worth it. We paired our meal with the pomegranate mocktails (delicious) and finished off with the decadent chocolate molten cake/mousse and the rice pudding. Everything was amazing and we can't wait to return to this gem.“

“Overall, it was a great place. Food is tasty, and the service is polite. Just be prepared to wait about 40 mins if you're going ulduring the high peak moments, but it's definitely worth the wait. One small complaint was the man with the service animal whom he sat on a chair. The dog was not a service animal as it was eager to eat, and the owner did serve the dog's plate on the table.Nothing the restaurant can do, though.“

“I was so pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem! The food is outstanding, the place is spotless and bright, and the service was welcoming and cheerful!Natalie suggested I get boomin beef rendang- and boy was that the best suggestion I've had all day. The beef was melting in my mouth, the spices were never like I've had before- so aromatic and melding incredibly well with the braised beef, potatoes, and rice. And to top it off this dish is both gluten free and dairy free! I'm bringing my son back tonight to get dinner! The prices are more than ok, and Natalie was so helpful and sweet, and on point, that I feel like I made a friend as well! Awesome stuff Flavor-Boom!!!!Go see this place! “Take out only, street parking outside. Probably a little more pricey than average takeout food but i’d love to come more often if budget allowed!Wings are fantastic if not burnt, though you can’t see it in the pic bc they’re all flipped to the lighter side. The drumsticks were fine, but the smaller pieces were pretty burnt and acrid on the skin part. Otherwise perfectly crispy, and taste is just right. Lightly lemony, not too strong and way better than it sounds. Was watching TV though and got oil all over my shorts. Eat with napkins nearby.Lamb m’charmel is good, some spice but not spicy. Very much a cozy home cooked taste, not sure how else to describe.“

“Authentic, delicious, Lebanese cuisine from a family-owned local business. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with comfortable themes and beautifully detailed lamps. More frequently, we use their catering services for parties in our home.Recently, Nadine helped recommend, then beautifully arrange, food for a 16 person party in our home. Delicious chicken and beef kabobs, rice, pita, salad, hummus, falafel, tahini, labneh, baba, and grape leaves. “Food: I came here for the baklawa. They came pre-packaged for $7.99, so unfortunately they weren't fresh, but they still tasted fine reheated. “I liked this place very much but not so much for my wife. The space looked pretty modern. You walk into a large table once you step into the restaurant. On the right is a smaller table. Towards the back has more seating with smaller tables. The music is uptempo. We ordered a couple wraps and my friend a grain bowl. Both wraps (chicken za'atar and sabich which has eggplant and is vegan friendly) were flavorful which I liked which is where my wife and I differ because she preferred something with less spices or a cleaner taste. We also got the pastry containing walnut filling. That was just alright for me where the filling was dense and sweet.Pricing wise, the wraps were about $10 each so it's a good deal for lunch in the area. I would come back to try the different options, maybe with other friends. ?“

“This is one of my all-time favorite places in Boston after living here for almost 7 years and even having gone to both Armenia and Georgia Jana Grill still keeps it's spot among the top for me!The food is incredible, the atmosphere is wonderful and the amazing staff tie everything perfectly together. It's really hard to pick a favorite dish since I have loved everything I have gotten but I would definitely recommend the Pelmeni with beef, the Khorovats plates and the Ajarian Khachapuri (with Basturma if you want to add a bit of meat to it). For deserts I always have to make a tough choice between the Anna Pavlova and the Lavender Panna Cotta so be sure to bring a friend who will split the deserts with you so you can get both :)If you are not sure what to go for I will 100% suggest asking the staff since all of the suggestions they have given me have been spot on!“

“We had a good experience with Flame ordering the Santorini package for 20. The chicken and rice were delicious, the salad was fresh, and the packaging was thoughtful, particularly the squeeze bottles for the dressing and garlic sauce. The hummus was okay and the tzatziki was good, as was the pita. The main complaint I have is that there was nowhere near enough falafel for 20 people. There were about 20 pieces in total, the aluminum container was nowhere near full, and many people didn't get to try it because a single piece of falafel isn't a serving for one person. The package definitely skewed heavily toward the cheaper things on the menu, like salad and rice. There were a lot of leftovers for both. That being said, would work with these guys again.“
