“Raucous family environment. Quick service and seating and food. Delicious meal, shrimp enchiladas with side rice and beans and a Hispanic coleslaw. The rice needed more flavor, but the coleslaw and enchiladas were a marvel.Vegetarian options: Some options. Pescatarianism provides a lot of flexibility.”

“Excellent budget aquarium. Highly recommended walking by and gawking at the lobster tank. If seafood is your thing, I hear it is delightful. Not really mine but their non seafood stuff is very nice and drinks are A+. Treat yourself.”

“What an absolute find this place was! A little hole-in-the-wall restaurant that's easy to miss. Extremely friendly service with unbeatable prices! Menu fairly limited, but they offer a good amount of specials and you can find pretty much anything you would at most breakfast places. Got a biscuit breakfast sandwich that was on special. Came with home fries and ordered a side of bacon as well. Food came out quick and everything was delicious. Staff seemed to know every customer there or that came in for takeout. I need to become a regular here and cannot wait to come back!”

“I am up dating my review from a 2 to a 4, not 5 because I am a hard graded. I have been in My Cafe several times now since my review. There is a new set of people in there and the service is way improved. I can for sure recommend Heather's Omelet or the breakfast burrito.”

“Really impressed with the value, quality, and quantity from Bobby C's. Our waitress was also super fast, kind, and accommodating. The bread and olive oil that they service alongside is a great starting point. We also ordered the stuffed mushrooms, which were really tasty. I wish the portion came with more!As a main, I ordered the Tortellini with Broccoli and Mushrooms. It typically comes with Prosciutto, but I asked if they could leave that out, since I am vegetarian. No problem with that! The main pastas also come with a starter salad. My partner had the Chicken Francese. Also a huge portion of chicken and the angel hair pasta was cooked really well.I ordered a cannoli for dessert, which was not amazing, but I asked the waitress to replace it with a lemon cake she recommended and it was better. She also asked me why I didn't like it, so I felt like she valued my opinion as a diner.Overall, awesome experience. Will definitely be back! :)”

“I was NOT expecting to be this impressed. Probably the best sushi I've had on this side of Boston. Big pieces, almost overflowing with filling. Shrimp tempura was just the right mix of sweet and crunchy. 100% will be coming ”

“I've lived on the Melrose/Stoneham line for many years ago have never eaten here before. I got a small steak and cheese with extra cheese. Delicious!! It's pretty big for a small. They brought it right to my table. This place has been here for 44 years, wow! Their prices are excellent too! I will definitely be coming back again. While it slowed down a bit, I got to talk to an employee for 10 to 15 minutes. He was really nice. They know their regulars and are very personable. Come and try this place. You will not be disappointed!!”

“Giacomo’s ristorante has the best Italian cuisine in Boston! The table at north-end is always difficult to get so I decided to go to Melrose this time. No matter what you order, all dishes are flawless as always.”

“Service is always good, the people that work there are very nice. I go on Sundays and Wednesdays with my kids as a treat, we love this place. One of my only concerns is that everytime I'm there I never carry cash on me and that's the only way to leave a tip because you can't add a tip on the card, on Friday I went to the bar as a girls night out and the bartender seemed overwhelmed and so did the workers so I wanted to leave a tip and so did my girls but we couldn't. I know I'm not the only person that has this concern because most regulars have said the same thing because my children have also heard it when she comes with her friends. Honestly I feel bad for the workers, do better and care about your staff! Other than that good place with good food, also family friendly too.”
“Very nice decor. Seated on time. Staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. Very busy. Wife and I imbibed in various tapas - most everything was fantastic. The only exception was the Tortilla Espanola - just was not our thing.”

“I went to liberty bell on 02-29-24. I placed an online order and it was ready when I arrived. The zitis and the garlic bread were delicious. Every time I come here the food is never a disappointment!”
“Thank you to the owner for the time you spent learning your craft! Colette is such a great addition to the community. The beautiful (and delectable) pastries and breads are always a treat.”

“We came to grab coffee on a whim before heading to an open house nearby. There isn’t much seating, just a small table in the front, so it’s more a grab and go spot. The pastries completely won me over though! So many great and creative options. I will come back to try more!”

“I ordered m&m cookies for my son's birthday. I thought they were expensive when I ordered (but competitive with other bakeries). However, after eating one of the enormous, not too sweet, not too salty cookies; I realized that these cookies were miles beyond their competitors. They were thick, full of mini m&ms, slightly crunchy at the edges, perfectly cooked: yum. It's more of an experience than a cookie. In conclusion, the items at Sweet Spot are worth every penny.”

“Came here late morning for a quick breakfast with my dad. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant which was delicious. My dad ordered the Italian sub which he really enjoyed. Reasonable prices, good coffee and quick service. There was also an abundance of seating inside and parking out back, which was extremely helpful. Would come again.”

“I gave a meh review the last time I was here so I thought it would be fair to give a good review this time. I don’t know if they have improved or if it was a matter of the items we picked, but there was a significant difference between the two visits. This time we got the Albondigas, Queso de Cabra, Bruselas a la Sidra, Montadito de Jamon, Costillas de Cordero, and the Dátiles and everything was delicious. The prices are still a bit high, but it is usually with tapas, so with the live music and much better food, it was worth it. Well done T’ahpas!”

“Have ordered from here multiple times throughout the pandemic but finally got to visit in person. Cute cafe vibe rather than a restaurant! My coffee was good. For food, I highly recommend the arepas (like with sweet plantains), cachapa con queso (which has the best cheese and sweet corn flavor like I cannot explain how freakin good it is), and yucca fries with the dip. It's a lil cramped inside and so we had to wait a bit after ordering for a regular table to clear, although they do have a bar-like seating too.”

“A nice neighborhood pizza place that offers more than just pizza. Nothing fancy, just good at a reasonable price. It's under new management who seem committed to giving Melrose a high quality experience.Limited seating for about 12 people, mostly a take out business. The guy that runs the front counter is fantastic at customer service/ customer relations. Prices are equal to the area. The food is quite good. We ordered Chicken Parm sandwich, spaghetti and meatballs and butternut squash ravioli. All were delicious!”

“Closed on Sunday. The Curry is good, but the tomatoes are enenormoes. The pat thai is good. The chicken fingers are fried but are good. My husband has no problem trying different dishes. He's yet to be disappointed .”

“The Starbucks in Melrose has never messed up my order in the six years I’ve been visiting. Highly recommend ordering through the Starbucks mobile app as it’s the quickest way to get your order. My wife loves ordering tea from there while I’m pretty basic and order just a black hot coffee. You can never go wrong with their breakfast sandwiches.”

“After travelling 19 hours from Sydney, this place was recommended to me as a good old school Italian pizza place. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. The staff were more than welcoming greeted me with a smile, but the food was out of this world.WOW ”

“Came here on a weekday for a late lunch. We got steak tortas and also tried the tacos. The tortas were delicious, such a great combination of meat, high quality cheese, avocado and jalapeño. The bread had a perfect texture to absorb the fats. Highly recommend! I want to try the fish and chicken. It’s definitely worth it to come here just for those. The tacos were okay. Personally I think they’re quite pricey for what you get. But the portion of meat is good. Regardless $4 for one taco is hefty. You get a better bang for your buck with the tortas. It’s a casual counter service spot, staff is fine and they make it fast. That does mean everything is likely premade but it was still good.”

“We drove into melrose for turners and while walking past Rising Eagle decided to try it. I had been putting it off as I just wasn’t sure I’d like the dining model but this was just lunch and figured why not. The host and staff were incredibly helpful and seemed like they loved the opportunity to welcome a new guest, I appreciated the difference in service as it avoids the sometimes overbearing waiter/waitress but the runners are still happy to jump in if you ask for something. Wonderful atmosphere, felt very authentic and reminded me of a mix between fine steakhouse and a clean pub. The food was very very fresh and tasty, the same quality I’d expect at turners.”
