“Topline: Was recommended this place by my Air BnB host and it did not disappoint. Good vibes, perfect spot to catch up with friends, a date, or on hang out by yourself. Great food and service. Ambience: 5/5. Narrow bar area when you walk in that is super crowded around dinner time, even on a weeknight. Seemed like it was a lot of regulars who knew each other. Past the bar the seating area is small and intimate, perfect for a date night. For Mr. Solo Dolos, there are 5-6 TVs all playing different sports channels. Service: 5/5. Colleen was awesome. Super helpful in explaining different options on the menu for foods and drinks. Taste: 5/5. The fettuccine with their house marinara was so good. They have a special frozen watermelon slushy drink that was pretty good, although probably not everyone's cup of tea. Expensiveness: 4/5. $30 for a house drink and an entree. About what I'd expect to spend at a nice restaurant in any major city.“

“Fun ambience. The staff seem to be having a good time and are very organized. The brown butter pancakes and (especially) the pupusa were outstanding. Good London Fog too. We walked to the Arboretum after brunch to top off a wonderful spring morning.“

“Had to make a reservation two months in advance, but happy to report that Tonino was well worth the wait! The interior is lovely—very cozy with classy decorations. The pizza is available for take-out, but the pasta is only available for dine-in, so we tried as many pastas as we could stomach. Unfortunately, the special advertised on the wall wasn't available, so we ended up getting:- Taleggio Cappelletti ($26): This dish only comes with 8 cappelletti, so the portion size is more akin to an appetizer, but this was my favorite of the pastas that we ordered. Rich, cheesy filling with a subtly sweet sauce. Delicious.- Lumache ($26): Second favorite. Very al dente (borderline crunchy; too al dente for my friend, but I liked the bite). Some tangy notes from the creme fraiche. Portion size was better than the taleggio cappelletti, but I wish there were more or larger cuts of mushroom.- Chitarra & Clams ($28): Wouldn't get this again. Very peppery, and the flavor didn't pack a punch like the other two pastas. Chitarra wasn't al dente, and the clams were quite small. Breadcrumbs were good.- Tiramisu ($14): Also available for take-out but had to get it because it's their signature dessert. I was in heaven. The mascarpone was runnier than that of other tiramisus that I've had, but I liked it like that. Very smooth and creamy. Loved the sporadic bits of salt too. There were two servers who waited on us throughout the night. Both were friendly. There's complimentary still or sparkling water, which was a plus. 5% kitchen appreciation fee, which is higher than the usual 3%.Overall, highly recommend this place. I think it is my favorite Italian place in Boston now!“

“Such a unique and special experience and meal. I went in without a reservation and was able to get a seat. Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious. After eating, I spent some time sipping a drink on the couch/lounge area looking at their books. An immersive cultural experience. I will be back. You can tell this place has so much love and energy behind it.“

“So many food options and a lot of space so you can find room to sit even in relatively packed times. Certain restaurants are overpriced but can still find good eats. The parking deck is clutch - if you validate it it's $10 for 3 hrs which is great for that location.“

“Wife and I had some tests to do at the nearby hospital and decided to get some food and beat traffic. What a gem. Food was fantastic, drinks were stellar. I also want to shout out Andrew who was slinging drinks and great vibes. He helped us with menu items and amazing drink recommendations. I haven’t had this great of Thai food since living in Los Angeles. Great spot, I’ll recommend it to friends, and will most certainly be back. Thanks Andrew and the entire squad!“

“Visiting Boston on business. My group and I went here for lunch and it was stellar. I had the Zuni Roll and I wish I could get another. The onion ring apps were very tasty. The beer selection is pretty good and the staff recommendations were spot on. Staff was great as well and attentive. Highly recommend.“

“Excellent menu (and preparation) for those who are looking for something beyond typical Italian. Wonderful ambiance and table arrangement. Great place for a romantic dinner or two "best friends" couples; there's a feeling of intimacy about the place. I would not necessarily recommend it for large parties.“

“If I could only get cocktails from one place for the rest of my life, they would be at Farmacia. The seasonal menus mean there are always new and very creative cocktails to try and the 9-seat limit lends itself to fun and interesting conversations with your host and other patrons. Phillip is so welcoming and accommodating and it really adds to the experience. Reservations are hard to come by but are well worth the wait.“

“What a lovely restaurant. The outside is swagger with flowers around the door, very much like cafes in Paris. The food was spectacular. We had oysters and shrimp, shepherd’s pie, beetroot and blood orange salad, homemade tagliatelle bolognese and a spicy lobster pasta dish. Desserts are inventive and delicious. We got a banana sundae, a combination of bananas foster with banana bread and ice cream. The cocktails are beautiful. Different and cool with fun names. There are two bars in a lovely cozy setting of white lights, windows and hardwood floors. Definitely will be back.“

“Came in on a Tuesday night after driving by this place constantly (we live close by) and always wanting to try. I think the only downside working against this place is the location. Unless you are a local I am not sure you’d stumble upon it as it’s hidden on a odd side street off route 16. And that is a SHAME because this place is really good!!! First of all the ambience and decor is so cozy and represents Peru really nicely but not in a fake overstated way. Our server was a young guy who was really nice and once he heard my husband and I speaking Spanish proceeded to serve us in Spanish the rest of the dinner which really felt very welcoming, he had a great vibe and gave us recommendations on the menu since it was our first time. They have SEVERAL Peruvian beers which was really cool, my husband tried a quinoa beer that he liked a lot.We got the ceviche del día which has a mix of seafood. So flavorful and amazing, as Peruvian ceviche always is.We got a specials menu sandwich with chicharrón, sweet potato, pickled onion, and mint that was so freaking delicious. The bread was insanely good, and the chicharrón was soooo crispy on the outside yet not impossible to chew as it sometimes can be if not done right. We also got the ahí de gallina which was very flavorful, I think it was my least favorite because it’s sort of a simple dish and I like things with lots of different elements and textures, but I wanted to try this Peruvian classic and I don’t regret it!Parking: You can park outside of the restaurant where there are signs that say Tambo 22 parking. Maybe around 6 spots?“

“Octopus was fabulous, calamari... not so much. Scallops a La Plancha were delicious, Bolognese - just meh. Server left empty glasses on the table a bit longer than I would have liked and our table was directly inside the door from the bar so it was pretty loud. All in all it was good / fine / what I would expect in Boston at that price point - but not a standout.“

“I've been several times and I've never been disappointed. There are a few things I would change on the menu if I was in charge, but they execute what they offer very well. Would love to have a bit more vegetarian creativity, but even the plain "cheese enchiladas" are amazing. The ambience both indoors and out (when the weather is good) is great. All in all I think Acitron is an example of a city-class restaurant that happens to be conveniently located here in my town. Lucky to have them.“

“Had a fun time at Mountain House Boston. The food was really good. Lot of chicken and seafood options. The szechuan numbing chicken was great but did come cold and with bones so might be a challenge to eat. The hot fish was the best! Melted like butter. Recommend the chrysanthemum sweet tea too!“

“We really loved the food at Stillwater! Started with the biscuits and homemade cheez-its, which were both absolutely fantastic. I had the red beans & rice as my main and the person I was with enjoyed the dumplings- both were great choices. The pb&j crème brûlée was a favorite- wished there was a bit more jam but it was delicious nonetheless. Service was less than stellar though- lack of water refills and it took an incredibly long time to get the check. Overall we had a great time!“

“Wow, just wow. Went to Bully Boy with a crew this afternoon and we had the most delightful time, all due to the lovely and talented Jack (shout-out Jack). Had some delectable cocktails and then went on an awesome tour led by Jack. After hearing his delightful history as a salesman, Jack easily sent us home $200 poorer, but a whole lot richer in spirit. WE LOVE JACK AND BULLY BOY!!!!!“

“In my partner's words: "It became my favorite restaurant in the entire state".I couldn't believe that each one of the small plates we tried (Spanish style tapas) was excellent!! You can't go wrong with anything in that menu. We tried the Local Farm Corn Soup, Uruguayan Style Beef Empanada, Wood Grilled Poussin Chicken, Wild Mushrooms in Escabeche, and the Wood Grilled Pork Sausage. I'm not hyperbolizing when I say this is the best chicken I ever had. ...Cherry on top, cocktails are excellent (try the Fig Infused Bourbon Old Fashioned) and the Alfajores where delicious. ?Give it a try, you won't regret it ?“

“After cruising around for parking for nearly 30 mins, the bartender was generous enough to allow me to park in their lot in an illegals spot and not have me towed. I had called and he could hear the stress in my voice since the rest of my party had already been seated. Upon walking in late, he immediately came over and poured me a complimentary glass of one of the most delish glasses of French red wine idea ever had. The food and service was top notch. EVERYONE that worked there was incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and just seemlessly working together to ensure we were taken care of. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in years based on the quality of service and creative dishes. 1,000/10 recommend!“

“Our new favorite joint!! The portions are generous and cocktails are on point. Max and Chelsea are amazing humans and it’s evident the love they’ve poured into this restaurant. Dining there feels like coming home… minus the family drama/judgment and with the tastiest, most nurturing home cooked meal. We are so happy to have this neighborhood gem so close to us.“

“Finding myself hungry in South Boston, I Googled vegan near me" and found Lulu Green. Well, one of my cats is named Lulu, so there I went. Little did I know how delicious the food is there. The vegan hot honey "chicken" sandwich was by far the best sandwich I've had in my entire life, so good that I immediately ordered another. Isn't that what one does when one gets the best sandwich ever? If "awesome" weren't so overused a word that it has lost any semblance of its original meaning, I would use it to describe this sandwich. You know how, when you take a bite from some new dish and you get hit with the sensation of something so delicious you just have to sit back in your seat and wish space-time would move more slowly just so you can savor the flavor longer? That's what eating this sandwich was like. It has a pesto ranch dressing and pickles that taste better than any pickles one might reasonably expect to exist in the known universe-- and I don't even particularly like pickles. Seriously, this sandwich will make you throb with ecstasy. Also, anyone who thinks vegan cheese can't be good hasn't tried its pesto pizza. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly service.“

“This was a quick visit to Boston for me, and my partner took me to check out Backbar for a cocktail. If you love having a nice drink at a fixed price (all alcoholic drinks are $15 +20% gratuity) this is a must come! The team is working in sync and delivering on their great vision. I really enjoyed the menu, music, and service, read further for more details:Our visit to Backbar started with a ~20min long standing wait. The team prioritizes the comfort of guests and makes sure not to over-crowd their bar, ensuring that each group of guests is seated in area fit for their size. The host organizes this system which may require a bit of shuffling tables (always with a warning, kudos on the clear communication!) until you are ultimately sat at a right-size high top, bar stool, or couch in the cozy seating area of Backbar.Servers will come to take your drink and food orders and answer any questions you have about the menu. The menu is a mix of signature cocktails and non-alcohlic cocktails themed around a mixtape, with all cocktails having a song as inspiration. On the back of the NA cocktail list, there’s a small menu of bar snacks that can be ordered from the kitchen which closes earlier than the bar. We didn’t eat anything, but the snacks did sound like they would be delicious! We tried three of the current signature drinks, Candy Girl, Of Space and Time, and Hymn for a Droid. We ordered to our tastes, and I’ll say that the drinks were all excellent. Only order what you’ll like—don’t be afraid to ask the servers about any ingredients you don’t recognize, they’ll help you understand what the drinks are! They were so kind and friendly and made sure we had a great experience. The second cocktail I ordered was off-menu, a Trinidad Sour, which my server was excited I ordered and the bartender came over to tell us about why he personally also loves the drink. It was really great, and he even brought us out a special Angostura amaro they had behind the bar to try because he thought we would enjoy it. Thank you for that thoughtful gesture, not required but much appreciated! We were never rushed during our stay, but made sure to take our check promptly after finishing our last drinks. Will make a point to come back each time I visit Boston.Dietary restrictions: Staff will make sure to accommodate your dietary restrictions and serve your party something you can enjoy!“

“There's lots of good Thai food around Boston but Thonglor is my favorite! Every time I take a new bite I literally think the words, "This is cooked to perfection" LOL... like the Ratatouille critic... Such a dependable delivery place, I try to order something new each time and every single dish has been delicious! I can tell from photos that the dine-in plating looks beautiful, and I think even in the take-out boxes you can tell there is lots of care put in. :) I love the pad kee mao, khao pad tomyum, and mango sticky rice. The curry puffs and keaw wan gai are also great!“

“This is a hidden gem in back bay. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. We ordered the burrata, the risotto, and the tiramisu. While the burrata was good, we wouldn't order it again. However, the risotto was to die for. The short rib was tender and complimented the creamy risotto perfectly. The tiramisu, while not made in house, is a must order for dessert. Furthermore, the service was incredible and everyone was so friendly. My only complaint about the atmosphere would be the noise. The music was turned up very loud and I would wait for the break between songs to truly talk.“

“Got no pics for this as everything was too good to stop and snap a pic. But just know, you should go here if you want a slightly more unique dining experience in Boston. Sit at the bar for the full experience, as the bartenders are very helpful/knowledgeable. It's a cocktail bar with amazing drinks but don't sleep on the food. It's the real deal. Salmon crudo was incredible, perfect amount of tartness. Braised lamb parpaldelle was delicious as expected, and the carbonara I believe is one of the best around. Highly recommend this spot.“

“What a great experience at Fuki.. the staff was quick, attentive and friendly but not overbearing which made for a very pleasant meal. I decided to try the set menu which for $45 a person was a great deal. I thought the spicy seafood salad was delicious as well as the chefs choice sashimi and rainbow maki. They had plenty of seating and nice low lighting which was relaxing. I will be recommending Fuki to friends and family for years to come. Hats off to the chef, keep up the good rolling.“

“We are at FlBat baby on a recent Saturday night The sushi was excellent as was the service . We had the dragon roll, tuna rice cakes and the shrimp noodles The 8 piece dragon roll was very good, with just right crunch for the tempura shrimp. My favorite was the tuna rice cakes. These bite sized pieces had a layer of tuna that melted in your mouth, along with the perfect tasting cakes which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only disappointment was the shrimp noodle dish. Although tasty, this shrimp in this dish were a bit tough. The noise level was too much for us but I would return on a different day.“
