I will say the calamari appetizer, the steak tips and the pb&j burger were some of my favorites.The service is always great, the atmosphere is perfect. 10/10 in my eyes. “We had our wedding at IH two weeks ago and it was the perfect venue for us. Connie and Anne were extremely helpful the entire process always answering our questions and getting back to us in a very quick manner. The day of coordinator was also great, Matt made sure we had what we needed and helped the day go by smoothly. On top of that independence harbor has monthly brunches open to the public that are great for a brunch affair. Overall beautiful grounds, great food, excellent service, and well priced.“
“Came here on a Sunday morning. From the looks of the parking lot, which is in the back of the building, it seemed like it was going to be too full, but when we got inside, there were a decent amount of tables open and we were able to sit right away. This was my first time being there, but was with people who had been there before. At first, they were concerned that they were only going to accept cash as that had been the case previously. However, when we went in just yesterday, we saw that they accepted cards as well. The server was friendly, and the service was quick, which was exactly what we were looking for. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which was just OK I would say. The English muffin was soft, and I usually like my toasted muffin to have a little crispy to it. The other picture is of the Portuguese hash omelette, which was well enjoyed by my partner. The home fries were very well, seasoned and quite tasty. the overall ambience was like an older country kitchen type place.“

The chicken fingers were moist and freshly cooked, and the steak was delicious and juicy. They advertised some great sweets, but I was too full to have any. I'll be back when I visit the area again.“

“I haven’t been there for awhile, but almost everything I have gotten has been great!! The only thing I didn’t like was the corned beef hash. It was my first time having it & I found it was very dry. That’s just my opinion, your mileage may vary. The waitstaff has been great, & the atmosphere is very relaxing. I only gave it a 4 coz I rarely give out 5’s.Parking: Sometimes it’s hard to find a spot but only coz they’re so crowded!!“
“Food is good but Natalia behind the bar is Great! She always greets you with a friendly hello and remembers your name. She is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable . Always remembers what I drink and how I want my wings. Hopefully Management realizes what a Great Team Member she is the reason most people keep coming back“
