“We live in Natick and love Buttercup. That's why we were disappointed with our most recent experience. We stopped by on our way home to have a drink at the bar. There was one or two open seats so we figured one of us would sit and eventually another seat would open up. Only we were stopped by the hostess who told us other people (standing near the host station) had been waiting for bar seats. We were confused because we didn't realize that you couldn't just stand near the bar and have a drink (since we had done this in the past) and also we didn't know that you could even reserve seats at the bar. A couple weeks later we were walking by again and saw that there were many open seats at the bar but my boyfriend and I looked at each other and said, let's skip it. We are still just not feeling great about our last experience.“

Poke nachos and ahi tuna stack were most delicious out of everything we ordered. if you are a fan of raw tuna and avocado, then this is for you. Truffle fries were great as well. The rest of the food was good too. Service was good considering they were very busy on a Sunday. They got us a table right away. Ambiance is lacking, there isn't much in terms of decor, it's very noisy , but we didn't mind because it is a very casual place and the food was tasty.“

“I simply loved it. Was visiting my friend in Boston and we went there on Sunday. I loved the nachos that they great you with as soon as you are seated ... yummy with the sauce. You can get as much as you want ( but don't fill your stomach before you get your food ) ??? nice and smiling staff. Ready to help but some don't speak English. One waiter was nice but didn't bring me a fork for like 15 minutes, had to go and ask for it myself. Bathrooms relatively clean. Liked the food but it was my mistake regarding what I ordered, just made the wrong choice compared to what I expected. I am really writing this review for our wonderful waitress Gabby! She did an amazing job tending to us and getting our orders in a timely manner. “It is a very nice place. Large windows and nice drink glasses. Vicky was a funny server. I highly recommend the lobster rangoons and the sriracha wings. However, you should dip the rangoons in the sauce that comes with the wings. The salmon was superb, however, if you are not a fan of lentils you should ask them to remove them. The salmon comes with a lot of lentils. The drinks are good and interesting. They are not typically combinations I would order. Nonetheless, they have distinct tastes that leave good flavors in your mouth. I had the burnt orange and orange. I also recommend the token chicken sandwich. I look forward to going back there again.“

“I'll just say at the outset that I had preconceived ideas about this place when my SIL suggested that we all meet up here for lunch. Friends of ours were always reporting that they were at this boozer called Jimmy's getting clobbered. I expected a louch, dark boozy pub and found a bright lively restaurant with terrific food! Huge portions of delicious food for short money? I'm there! I had some of the onion rings which were delicious, and shrimp scampi over rice pilaf rather than linguine. It was excellent! I could not eat it all and still make the drive back to Cape Cod comfortably. My SIL's fish and chips plate was huge and she reported that it was delicious. My BIL had an enormous burger with sweet potato fries. Next time when I'm looking for Fish & Chips in the area, I'll know where to go!“
