“I went here for the first time today. Good happy hour prices and the staff was extremely nice. Josh and Grace were out wait-staff members and were super helpful. The busboys were also very attentive as well as the bartenders. Awesome atmosphere, delicious food, and staff, will be back!“
“Amazing food. Every thing I tried was delicious. I would especially recommend trying the hot dogs plain. They were definitely the highlight. Extremely good and filling. Great service too. Jaime was so helpful and on target with his beer recommendation! One opportunity for improvement is the beer menu needs some Belgians. It’s a bit IPA heavy. Over all a great experience. The atmosphere was calm and they always had sports on the T.Vs. We were able to pop, in get dinner, and get out. A great restaurant for sure.“
“I recently visited the location and I must say Inwas well pleased. I am from NC originally and my Lady is from NY. We both have a passion for food. She owns her own catering business and I am a southern food specialist. We both are in agreement that hands down this is the best restaurant we have tried in the DMV.Heres why. The aesthetic was very appealing to the eye and that is very rare for smaller restaurant in my opinion. They took the time to make the space invititing. Secondly the wait staff was dressed nicely and very nice and assisted with the menu choices. Thirdly the management and host was very welcoming and greeted us well and engaged in conversation when possible. That is a 10 in my book.Last but certainly not least the food was cooked to perfection and not just a carbon copy dish. We asked for the chef to visit out table and he was very humble. He is definitely a hidden gem in the DMV. He deserves to be known around the globe.I would recommend this for a nice date night experience. Please make a reservation and get there early because parking is limited in the immediate area. I parked a block away but it was well worth it.“
“Very nice and trendy Cuban spot in Silver Spring! Happy hour deals are great, if you have a group I definitely recommend getting the Cuban Street Food Sampler, so that you can get a good variety of finger food! The Sampler comes with Empanadas, Pollo Coca-Cola, Salted Cod Croquettes, Pan Con Lechon, Fried Yuca, Tostones, and their Cuban Sandwiches. My favorite of the bunch has to be the Cuban Sandwiches, which had tasty bread with delicious meat filling, the Fried Yuca which came coated in super tasty fried garlic, and the Pan Con Lechon which was pork that literally melted in your mouth! We also had the Hibiscus Sangria cocktails for happy hour, which were alright in my opinion.“
“Nice breakfast spot. Little bit of a yuppie-vibe, but overall nice ambience. The digital menu is a bit awkward and takes a second to figure out. Not inexpensive, but quality is roughly in line with cost. Good coffee. Wish they did an English breakfast type offering.“
“Some great food and a few misses. The oysters were great- cold, briny, and delicious. I ordered the grilled tuna off of their special spring menu and it was phenomenal. Great flavor and cooked well. The most egregious flaw was a medium-rare steak that was ordered was served medium-well. The waiter wasn’t able to provide information about what oysters were available and the bar struggled with a martini. I’ll give it another shot but expected a little more for the price and reputation.“
