“One of the newest cocktail bars on King street!This place is super cool and has a bit of a speakeasy vibe.We only got cocktails but they were all super good and unique. One of the bartenders, Andres, who was making our drinks used to work at a Michelin star bar and really showed it.He even made us custom cocktails when asked and was very nice to talk to.The atmosphere is very cute and very Instagrammable.The only thing is you have to use wifi because the bar is underground and there's no signal but other than that will definitely be going back.“
“Alice is a nice place for girls night. The ambiance was lovely, low lighting and cute decor. There is a bar with seating for four. Based on other reviews, we made reservations to be on the safe side. It was a rainy Wednesday when we went so there was plenty of seating available. We were greeted and taken to our table immediately. We started with cocktails. The white rabbit is a tequila based cocktail and was quite refreshing. We also ordered the chicken wings and curry puffs as appetizers. We were not a fan of the wings but the curry puffs were amazing! For the entree, I ordered chicken pad thai was very authentic and topped with peanuts and fresh bean sprouts. I really enjoyed this flavorful dish. This is a very intimate spot and the entire staff was attentive to all of the guests. I plan on returning to try more food options and upscale cocktails. Note: There is no parking available in front of establishment. The nearest metered street parking is on S Columbus Street.“

“This was the first time I have ever been here and it was nothing but AMAZING. We had a party of 7 and we were seated in the back party room. Our server was very attentive and patient. I was in awe of the brunch menu. So many options! I 10/10 recommend this restaurant and everything we ordered was delicious! “Finally tried this spot and must be considered an Old Town staple. Original and well put together cocktail menu, they nail the spicy mezcal margarita. Very relaxed ambiance, good hip-hop music inside, space outside. Food came pretty quick: solid chicken sandwich and burger (do emphasize how you prefer your burger cooked). Great place to meet up with a friend for relaxed drinks and eats.“
“I ordered on Uber Eats, and the food was outstanding! The Bahn Mi chicken sandwich was tasty and flavorful, the chicken was seasoned perfectly and crispy just the way I like it. The chef’s attention to detail is what stood out most, even in the presentation of the cauliflower and brussel sprouts - beautiful and delicious. Will def order from here again!“
“I love this place! Food is always delicious and drinks are on point every time. They are a mile from my place so I’m there a couple times a week. My favorite bartender is Attia, very dedicated to customer service which keeps me coming back. This is the best place for tacos in the DMV. I’ve been to the other places and they just don’t compare. Oh and when you go get the Taquera salsa. It’s my favorite so I buy the big bottle every visit.“
“Sat at the bar and loved the ambience. It’s quaint and can be a nice romantic spot for couples. Our bartender was great and he recommended the prix fixe menu and it was definitely worth it. Got the marinated beets salad, lamb and Crème brûlée! Will definitely return. Great service, great food. What else can one ask for?!“
“Came for a very simple lunch, the bar lady/ waitress was very friendly and accommodating. It was my first time trying Clam Chowder and I must say you’ve set the bar very high! The Bloody Mary was also delicious and the general atmosphere was very relaxed but efficient. Will definitely visit again if I come to Alexandria!“

“Kings Ransom was a cool cocktail bar. It’s upstairs and has a neat vibe. Wasn’t busy when we went. The website makes it out to be a unique and amazing experience with specialized processes but when I arrived there was nothing like that at all. It was just a regular cocktail bar. Drinks were good but not anything over the top. The bartender was nice but definitely ready to go home as couldn’t find him for a while. Overall a nice place just not as advertised.“
“Oh wow such a hidden gem. The food was amazing ask for TJ. He was amazing. Great service and so attentive. We enjoy our food so much. The curry puffs were so good the apps was 10/10 that I tried. I didn’t try the crab Rangoons or dumplings since it had shrimp & crab in it. I wanted all chicken. Such a cute experience I will come back. The food was busin busin.“
