“Absolutely delicious!!!! You will miss this gem if you don't look carefully...you go in through the back...when we walked eyes were on us because it was all Asian customers and they thought we were door dash ! We told them we would like to be seated, they said sit anywhere. We saw some amazing meals coming out the kitchen that I asked the server what somebody else had and that's what I ordered without disappointment!!! Deliciousness is all I can describe it as!!! The wife ordered Singapore noodles which she loved...this is one of the best Asian food spot I've had since coming to md! Give it a try and remember I told you so!!“

“This was my second time visiting. Our server, Patrick, was excellent. He had to serve the whole dining room and was doing a really good job. We arrived before 6pm and the room was about half full, the average age of the diners was between 60 and 70 years old. As we were eating our salads and having our cocktails, the music suddenly got extremely loud. It was really unpleasant, we couldn't have a conversation. The next time our server came over, we asked if the music could be turned down, and after a few minutes, someone did do that luckily.We both got fish and chips, the same as on my first visit, and it was delicious, however the kitchen ran out of cole slaw and they said they were looking for some or making more, but it never came out and we didn't get anything to substitute for it. Aside from that, it was a good meal. Younger people started arriving between 6:30 and 7:00 pm, so if you are looking for a young crowd you should arrive at 7:00.The menu doesn't offer many vegetarian options, just grilled cheese, pizza, or cheese quesadillas. I suggested that they add a veggie burger to the menu. They could keep Beyond Burgers in the freezer and pull one out whenever someone orders one. Seems easy. We like Kat's, but hopefully they'll keep the music down when the older folks are dining, and turn it up later when the young people get there.“

“Everything at Menya is completely mind-blowing and it's the best ramen I've had outside of Japan. It's a little hard to visit here especially with their hours but every time I can make the trip over to DC I always make an effort to come here. Their food stays consistent and service is incredible. It's amazing to watch how in synch the entire team is and they have an open kitchen where you can watch the staff make the endless bowls of ramen! The karaage is a MUST-TRY it's so incredibly crispy on the outside but perfectly juicy on the inside. It's also paired with a yuzu dipping sauce and it brings the chicken to a whole other level, 10/10. My favorite ramen is the Spicy Tonkotsu because it includes a house made chili spice that really brings a nice kick to their traditional Tonkotsu broth. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu because each type of ramen is so incredible in its depth of flavor.“

“A very special place for a nice Sunday brunch. They have $8 cocktails from 12pm-4pm on Sundays and for happy hours. The food was a little wait but worth every minute. The potato salad and collard greens were popular sides and you dont want to skip the cornbread!Parking: You will have to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood. “I went to this restaurant yesterday and I loved it! For 1 the food was phenomenal ( do not pass out the Pastéis de Nata cause they are absolutely delicious) and Manuel, our server, was so knowledgeable and gave us amazing recommendations. For appetizers We had the basket of bread, which was so warm, the caldo verde with their authentic chouriço (would highly recommend trying if you like soup) and the shrimp in a lemon and garlic sauce which was divine. For entrees we had the octopus, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS DISH and the Bacalhau and it was absolutely amazing, it felt like I was back in Europe. The food was so so so good that we just dug into it and forgot to take pictures! But we have one of the Pastéis de Nata, which is the original recipe from Lisbon.“

“On our way home from visiting Wash DC, we stopped at this place for dinner. It was conveniently located right off the BW Parkway (I-295), in Bladensburg. The restaurant is located at an intersection, in a small old building. It looked like a converted gas station. The parking lot is very small, maybe 10-12 spaces. Inside, the dinning room is also small with limited seating. People that came in after us had to wait for a table. The menu is very simple. The only appetizer was cha gio or egg roll. The entrees included pho, bun Bo hue, and 2 rice dishes (chicken or pork chop). The pho came in 3 sizes: children, small, and large. I got a large #5 pho tai nam. Both my wife and daughter got the bun Bo hue. The food came out hot after a short 5 minute wait. Both noodle soups came with a good amount of noodles and meat. Both broths were flavorful and authentic tasting. My wife was impressed with their bun Bo hue, noting that it was better than her own homemade version ( which I never heard her say before). We left this place happy and full.“

“We went to Sushi Ko for my son's birthday. He has been an avid sushi eater since he was 3. We enjoyed the food thoroughly. He would rate Sushiko up there with NOBU and BondSt NYC. “Easiest five stars I can give! I found Tacos a la Madre a few years ago - they have the absolute best tacos in the PG area for a fantastic price! Nowadays, I get the nine taco bundle for $34ish bucks. These bundles are great for two or three people to enjoy for a meal and come with different types of salsa (mild or spicy), cut limes, and a quick bag of chips. The food is just so flavorful - my favorite proteins are the carnitas, the steak, and the shrimp. But honestly, they're all perfect. They have quite a few other menu options too - I've wanted to try the quesadillas or the carne asada fries for the longest but can't bring myself to visit and not get a platter of tacos. The service is quick and friendly. The staff gets you in and out of the restaurant fairly quickly and do a nice job of making you feel welcome. The restaurant itself is pretty small but it's usually not too busy inside so you can find a place to sit if you'd like to eat inside. The best seating though is at one of the shaded picnic style tables in front of the restaurant. This front patio on a sunny day is the perfect spot to enjoy some delicious bites. I'll 100% be back soon!“

“We saw Beauty and the Beast last night at Toby's. The show was spectacular! Once again we were amazed at how creative the production is, given it's a theater-in-the-round. We are so fortunate to have such a top-notch dinner theater in our area with so many talented, wonderful, performers. A BIG shout-out to the person who found my wallet on the floor and called me immediately to let me know it would be in their safe until I came to retrieve it. Thank you! For Dinner, thw wife had Chicken Tikka Masala which tasted amazing and the chicken was very tender. It tasted "simple" and I do mean that in the nicest way considering I've had this dish at other restaurants and the flavors and spices are too overpowing. I had the Miz tandoori platter with a delicious lamb and chicken tikka. As good as they were, the star of the dish is the salmon. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Many restaurants don't get salmon right and it's usually overcooked and to my delight that was not the case here. Accompanied by the basket of naan that includes regular, onion, and garlic flavors and rice were a great combination. Raj and his staff deliver high quality of service and friendliness to the customer to go along with the delectable cuisine. Bravo Raj, bravo. I Can't wait to go back“
