“This restaurant offers a variety of options that cater to most taste buds. The food is reasonably priced and service is good. I came here to celebrate a family member’s birthday and the service was excellent. Our server, Brenden, made some great recommendations and ensured our food came out on time. We ordered the dumplings, chicken steam bun, cloud shrimp and fried chicken (Karaage) as appetizers. All were very great. We also ordered the Taipei Curry Chicken ramen, Brontosaurus bowl, Brussels & Squash, shrimp and pork belly steam buns as our entrees; all were filling and delicious. I think the curry chicken ramen could use more depth flavors; I added chili oil and mushrooms which were good additions. I also wish the chicken in the ramen was different than the chicken thighs offered as an appetizer. It made me feel like I was eating the same protein for my appetizer and entree. They have a nice drink menu; we all ordered the Last Samurai; which was tasty. I wish it came in a larger glass.I was disappointed they ran out of the miso cooking dessert but I’m looking forward to returning to try it. All in all; I would return. It’s a nice and cozy spot. They have an area where you can sit and watch the kitchen make the food as you dine.Parking: Parking can be scarce during busy times but there is street parking“
“Great aburasoba. Only 4 stars because they got rid of Umeboshi as a topping :(. It was so hecking good. Appetizers are okay. The fried squid was hard and chewy (not tender with a snap) and the sauce wasn't very flavorful either.Their vegan option is insulting. Please do better!! It's 2023.Edit 6/2023: the pickled plum is back thank the Lord. Secret menu item!! Still want a more exciting vegan option please.Edit again 7/2023: they have a new vegan option (that tasted great!) and the pickled plum is back on the menu. I've changed the review to five stars. Great work! My only new small complaint is the mochi on the side of the cheesecake was still frozen, not great.Edit 2/2024: the vegan option now has fried tofu, but the fried tofu is cold. I ordered mine with extra tofu (not knowing this) and the whole bowl quickly became luke warm and the cold tofu was unenjoyable. Please warm this up before serving!Vegetarian options: Great vegan option“
“First time here and it was amazing! We came during happy hour for sushi which is literally all day until 6:30pm I think! $3-$5 rolls and they taste great! I also got the dynomite roll which was truly delicious! Our waitress was kind and quick, barely any wait for food at all. The atmosphere is perfect, lights are dimmed and music fits the space. Great job!“
“Food:The sushi here is so good. It's some of the best I've had since moving to Baltimore. My favorite (so far) is the R (Roll) Lewis. The unagi and soft shell crab are also wonderful.Service:The server was attentive, never letting our water run out. Our food came out quickly, and the extra roll we ordered before we left arrived fast and packaged well.Atmosphere:We didn't get to see the whole restaurant, as we sat near the entrance. The chair felt a bit uncomfortable. But other than that, the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting.“
“The person who took my order was very polite and professional. My food was delivered in a timely fashion, however, part of my order was incorrect. She was apologetic and corrected the problem immediately. I will continue to order from them.“
“I had a random craving for sushi and my normal go to carry out place had stopped taking orders for the night, so I decided to order from Arigato. I'm so glad I did! The pearl river roll here is my favorite to date I've had from any sushi restaurant. The side order of fried rice was so huge I ate leftovers for two days. The spicy mayo actually has quite a kick to it and is so much better than the run of the mill sauce served at other places. Absolutely delicious!“
“Omi's is a cut above most Japanese and Chinese fusion restaurants. The food is easy to enjoy over and over.I had the Salmon and Steak Teppanyaki which was quite shocking as it was well seasoned and paired well with my lite lunch appetite. I had some yum yum sauce and eel sauce and didn't need to add anything because the meat was not dry. The fillet and stake was a well done dish. The food is great and service is super fast because I came there and in less than 7 mins me and about 5 other people plus some dashers were able to pick up food fresh as fast as we ordered it. Plus they didn't skimp on portions either because you got what you paid for, which is a hot, off the grill, and not a frozen or preheated or semi sweetened food.Only thing I didn't know, or like was that it was not as visible from the main road. Which is after the Little Caesars and next to the bowling lanes. Otherwise, I would have came here first instead of the Panda Express which was kinda off the beat. One more thing was that it was a okay experience because all the chairs were metal. I just need better place to sit down... that's all.I will try the sushi rolls, or vegetarian options next time.Parking: 20 to 30 in the strip mallKid-friendliness: Easy menu for kids and places to sit down with them as well.“
“It's been a long time since I've been to Aloha Sushi in Baltimore, since before the pandemic. decided to try them for lunch and the experience was good! apparently the sushi roller, Rajesh, is back, after they changed management. I had the lunch special for the Salmon roll, the tuna role and the Boston roll! it was good and hit the spot. definitely coming back for a date, Mount Vernon is one of my favorite spots.“
“Daily Sushi always provides!! I’m continuously impressed by their fresh food, kind service, and speedy order times. They are efficient and delicious and I hope that never changes!! My dad says your Kung Pao is “best he’s ever had,” and he’s a picky guy! The owners and employees always do their best to give great customer service and offer recommendations if you aren’t sure what to choose, many options!! I love daily sushi and keep meaning to bring my lunch dates there. There are not usually diners when I go but they do have seating available if you want to eat-in. Carry out is still perfect by the time you get home, though!“
“Our daughter loves sushi and this is her absolute favorite sushi restaurant. We’ve been here a number of times and the staff is always amazing, as is the food. Today was my daughter’s 5th birthday and when we asked her where she wanted to go for dinner, she told us Mizu Sushi. I’m pretty sure she’d make us take her there every day for their Philly roll and miso soup if she could. Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. Just wonderful. (Also, my favorite is their Maryland roll. It’s soooooo good!)“
“I got door dash. It was sooo yummy. I got the beef and shrimp with noodles rice and veggies. It's worth the upcharge, at least to me. Quite large portion. Also, I got some cooked rolls. I enjoyed it all. Enough to order the same exact thing a second time. It was more than enough for 2. Probably 3 easy! ** A trick I figured out for myself. Up to you, of course! I did get the dash pass for 9.99. It saved me more than the price I would have paid. I canceled afterwards but still got the perks for a month, which saved me even more in the long run.** The 3 bucks off was a discount from them, from their point system. DOORDASH did get me on the tip part. I wanted to give them $10. Please always tip at least 18%. As a server, we count on that money. Very very much. Enjoy!!“
“I've been here twice now and will be back because of the affordable quality nigiri and prime location by the water. The restaurant itself has a cozy vibe, not too fancy. That's fine-- I'm all about food over ambiance if given the choice between the other. I am a sushi enthusiast (gimme the omakases!) and was hankering for some fresh wasabi, but I guess they don't offer that here. The service is alright. The first time around, I sat on the mats with a friend (pretty neat that they offer that, I've only seen it in a few izakaya style restaurants). The waitress was nice but felt like the timing was off for when we wanted certain things (ordering, receiving food, receiving the bill). The second time around, I sat at the sushi bar and was able to be helped more promptly and in a pattern that made more sense to me. The sushi chefs were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had.As far as food goes, the aburi toro is phenomenal! 3 large chunks of flame-seared toro marinated in a citrusy umami sauce for $20.The rockfish is topped with a spicy orange garnish that adds a great little kick. The salmon belly is quality. You can tell by how fresh, vibrant, and near-translucent they look. It's also my favorite nigiri! The tuna belly was good, not as marbled as I'd like, but still good. Thick, juicy portions.I'd pass on the yellowtail belly, it wasn't quite as melty-in-your-mouth as the tuna belly and salmon belly. Can you tell I love the bellies? Try them out for yourself“
“The food is exceptional, although it can be found looking up Chinese food, it's Japanese American hibachi style food. It's the only "Chinese" my husband will eat. I am a little disappointed that they don't offer pork, but I do understand their reasoning. Would definitely recommend.“
“This place is a great find. The food was delicious and the service was good. The curries were actually spicy, tasted unique, and have different ingredients based on the type of curry you ordered. The curry was not watered down or made into a gravy, it was just right. My review only gets 4 stars overall because the chicken satay appetizer and rice portion that came with the curry was small relative to the prices on the menu.“
“I've been here dozens of times. I will say, some days I have had AMAZING sushi from here, and other days I've had just okay sushi. Their hibachi is okay, and their miso soup is not the best. I've noticed there is a major quality increase when the owner is present, which is usually on weekends. The inside is very clean and their service is always fast. I honestly order takeout from here all the time hoping I get the amazing version of their sushi for a fair price.“
“I love their food!! the lunch specials are a treat as well as their prompt and good customer service. There's never a lot of customerswhen im there for lunch, but the takeout call-ins orders are busy. I found out a few visits ago. This Orient restaurant is the same restaurant that was located in Towson for decades. I've frequent them for 25 years. Between their lease and the pandemic, it caused them to relocate location. What I can say is that those who dont know. They have a gem to discover.“
“Went for the omakase on a Thursday lunch.Clean, firm, deeply-colored fish. Rice was well-seasoned. The chef added subtle but flavorful twists or garnishes to each nigiri. Finished us off with two delicious maki made from fresh scraps of tuna and salmon. The place was empty during our whole visit, which was surprising given how much we enjoyed the meal. Notably, the portions were quite large. Don’t underestimate this one - you will be full after!“
“Great sushi and great Chinese also at reasonable prices! I've been getting sushi at Sakura for a while but tonight we also got General Tso's and it was really good and the portion was huge! I dont think Sakura gets the street cred in Annapolis that it deserves- Its a cozy spot with great food and great views of downtown! Now I can't wait for our leftovers tomorrow!“
“My first time trying poke and I loved it! This is a little shop on The Avenue in White Marsh. I'm not sure how long they've been there, but I feel like I visit The Avenue somewhat often, and I just noticed it for the very first time in the last couple of weeks. The staff was friendly and patient as I took my time deliberating over the menu. Since I've never tried poke before, I decided to get one of their premade recipes off of the menu. I decided on the Hunt Valley Classic Bowl, which has ahi tuna and salmon, a bunch of toppings (my favorites including the seaweed salad and mango), and their house sauce. The house sauce is a teriyaki sauce with a touch of sweetness. I LOVED that sauce, I wish there was more in the bowl! Everything tasted so bright and fresh, and the serving size was pretty big. I tried some of the Tempura Dragon Bowl too, but didn't have the experience of eating the whole thing. The pieces of chicken and shrimp were fried to order, and they were so crispy and crunchy! We did have to wait a few minutes for those proteins to cook, but it wasn't too long. I definitely want to go back for a second visit. There are so many options and variations to try. I need to concoct my own creation!“
“this is one of my favorite spots in baltimore for good sushi- great service, reasonable prices, and overall great food. its never super loud or busy inside, which is nice to have a good relaxing meals. it's a staple in our lunch rotation.“
“After a long day we stopped to try this spot, ordered general tso and chicken with mixed vegetable. Tso was crispy and not so sweet, paired well with white rice. Their mixed vegetable was crunchy and flavorful and they did not skimp on the portion. The team was super welcoming and even suggested what we should try for the next time.“
“We love Azumi ambiance is great it on the waterfront in Baltimore. The A5 Wagu melts in your mouth they offer it by the ounce. But it's enough for 4 people we ordered 4 ounces. The yellowtail jalapeño sushi is another favorite. The lychee cocktail is pricy and did not taste like it really had alcohol which was very disappointing. Overall it's a fun place with friends and we shared all the plates along with the fried rice which is delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items. I gave it 4 stars because of the cocktails.“
“I enjoyed everything about this place. Get there and there were no other customers in the restaurant, so it was very quiet. Had a few rolls and an order of the shrimp and vegetable tempura. The eel rolls never disappoint but the tempura was more veg than shrimp. Nothing tasted past it's prime and price was not bad either. Overall food was decent but I really like the environment. Sat by the window and wasn't pressured to leave after eating must have spent two hours just chatting away before realizing still hadn't gotten the check.“
“If you're looking for sushi or sashimi, you'll find the best is here , i just love it. And the staff/management is very nice an friendly. I have enjoyed most of the menu and have never had a complaint , very good food and fairly priced.“
“Matsuri Japanese Restaurant is a must-visit for delicious food and a great vibe. The Matsuri Special Roll is a standout--so flavorful! The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a top spot for a tasty meal. Can't wait to go back for more! Thanks, Matsuri, for the awesome dining experience!“
“This was a quick stop before heading to a comedy show and it was a 10/10 for me. The restaurant was clean with fast service. I ordered the Bento box with salmon and shrimp which also came with mini egg rolls and sushi. My husband ordered the shrimp and steak with Lo mein. Everything was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was a huge plus for me however, the salmon was not a fresh caught as it tasted more like a bag of store brought salmon instead but, all in all everything was delicious and I will definitely return.“
“This was my first "eat-in" experience with Quickway. I have previously ordered for delivery that came from a different location. My kiddo and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant had only been open for about an hour. The decor is lacking here, it is very underwhelming and the booths seem that they might have been built in a high school shop class. The trash cans are out and exposed and the windows and doors were filthy. The service was pretty good and very very quick. The prices are decent and the servings are humongous. My kiddo just ate sushi, and the tuna rolls were only $6, she thought they were great. I ordered a chicken bento box that was really surprising in its size and variety. Chicken, noodles, vegetables, sushi, dumplings and spring rolls all for about $11. The food tasted really good.I guess I can take the shoddy/lacking decor for some really good and well priced food.Just clean the windows, please.“
“We've done the hibachi experience before and the staff at Kabuto do it well. Today, we opted for a faster dine-in option without the show -- (yes, you can choose dining/bar side or the show!). Service was stellar, food came quickly from the sushi chef and kitchen. The food is decent. I'd recommend you keep to the classics: traditional sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri. And, although the price seems a bit steep for protein and noodles, the hibachi dishes are solid as well.“
