“This was one of the first places I ever tried sushi way back in high school over 15 years ago and it was the place I became addicted to the Philly roll. My high school best friend and I were both back in town a few weeks ago and were elated to find that this gem is still going strong! The sushi is just as delicious as I remember and I tried the mushroom soup and it did not disappoint. This will forever be one of my favorite sushi spots. The prices are very affordable, environment is cozy and quaint, and the portions are fantastic! I was surprised to find that they even offer white tuna sashimi on the menu for a good price and portion, which I find is typically overpriced at the few places I do find it. Highly recommend!“

“This was My first time at Super Japan. I was looking for some Teriyaki Chicken to support Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Trying different food from different cultures is one of the things I Love. The Food was good and the cashier was friendly. The food came out quick and was hot. The tables were clean.“

Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. “Lovely little restaurant in the middle of DC. The food was fantastic at great prices. Staff was very nice and the hospitality was great. We were even given extra for free. I had the bibimbap, a hefty portion with deliciousness throughout. The broth served was to die for. One of my best experiences at any restaurant. I wholeheartedly recommend it.“

“Rooftop on the Marriott great atmosphere. The service was good with the chef coming out to greet everyone at their table. They have multiple heaters which was perfect after the sun went down. I had the portobello app, very tasty. Also had the Baked fish dish, good seafood variety and flavor. I wish they served bread though.“

“I got the tonkatsu ramen. The broth was rich. The slices of pork were fresh, juicy, tender, slightly sweet, and abundant. There were at least 6 slices in that bowl. The assortment of vegetables and narutomaki added unique, delicious tastes and textures to the dish. Their food presentation is perfect. You'd have to see it to believe it. The ramen actually looks like it's straight out of those food commercials and restaurant food posters. All in all, it's a great place to eat.“

“They have a pretty good variety of American style rolls, but they also have a good selection of traditional sushi and sashimi. The sashimi is a good quality, and if you get the boat, they give pretty thick cuts.

The staff is friendly, the service is good, the place is clean, there is plenty of seating. The parking isn't the best, but that's because it's in a strip mall with multiple restaurants. I've never NOT gotten a spot, but sometimes it takes circling the lot.“

“This is an amazing go to for cheap food, that tastes good, and that will fill you up. Don't order appetizers or sushi. All of that stuff is just fluff and will pad out the price. I usually get their chicken meal with white rice and a drink (You can get fried rice for the same price or noodles for a little extra), but for a super low price you can double the chicken. I've never spent over $20 like this and a lot of the time I will have enough for a snack a few hours later.“

“Just a great Japanese express restaurant since I had the combination of chicken, beef, and shrimp, in addition to the General Tso's chicken were just phenomenal and the Godzilla roll was just a blast. 9/10 just could include a few more items on the menu.“

We really enjoyed it. Only thing constructive, I will say is that their appetizers weren't worth the money, but the main dishes were excellent ?“

“This really cute little Japanese shop was a great experience. On the simple side, but sushi was delicious and my friends enjoyed their food as well (one got chicken soup, and one got chicken teriyaki noodles). “Great value and great taste! worth driving to.This is a no-frills place that doesn’t mandate tips or surcharges and will give you good size tasty food.We got two specialty sushi rolls and chicken&beef+ vegetables and noodles.I was hesitant to get the sushi here because everyone says to get sushi from fancy places only, but I gave it a shot. I just finished it. It tasted good. If I don’t get sick, this will be my go-to for Japanese takeout. If I don’t come back to add more info, it means all went well and i fel fine :)“
