“The food here is AMAZING. I'm actually glad this place is far from me and on the expensive side because if it was closer and cheaper I'd be eating here constantly. My table got the waygu egg rolls, Mac and cheese, broccolini, Hawaiian steak, jerk crab cakes, and the jerk lollipop chicken. All of it was on point. Drinks are pretty expensive for what you get. That was probably the only disappointment. Music is a little loud for my liking but it is a minor nit in an absolutely amazing experience.“

“I recently visited My Kabul with family and some friends. Having been to most Afghan restaurants in the DMV and being Afghan myself I can say that the food was average. We ordered mantu and spinach for appetizers. Mantu has a good taste, but barely any yogurt sauce on them. The spinach lacked salt and not as flavorful as other restaurants.The kebabs were juicy, however lacking salt. The rice was good as well. Overall food needs improvement and salt please!!The service was great, our waiter was kind and hospitable. The atmosphere was very welcoming and homey. “My wife and I were stuck in Washington, DC because of a weather related airplane cancellation. Since it was Christmas Day, our options for dinner were limited. We were very pleased to have chosen the Ottoman taverna. The food was phenomenal. The service was impeccable and I would recommend this to anybody looking for a dining experience in Washington, DC. While it is certainly not cheap, it is not terribly expensive either. The food was unbelievably delicious. Oddly, our Lyft driver who delivered us to the door happened to be Turkish and was telling us how great the place was as we arrived.“

“This is my first time at the Laurel location and I was surprised by how clean it was. I was immediately greeted as I walked through the door. Maddyn helped at check out and provided great customer service. I recently became a vegetarian and I was able to get a delicious bowl that was full of flavor. I would recommend coming to this location, there is always somewhere to park and has a nice outside area for when it’s warm outside.“

“I've been going to Sundevich for years. Tasty sandwiches that seem to be pricy but they are fairly big. Great for sharing or eating alone. My favorite is the Seoul sandwich but the Athens sandwich with lamb is also delicious. The bread is always soft and the toppings are fresh. It's a casual and chill place to eat during lunch. Service has always been great for me and I've never waited too long.“

We really weren't going there because the food is top tier, we went because it has a great family atmosphere which ends up making the food taste. Little better. The service was superb for our party of 25 and I would definitely come back just for that. Even when we were leaving the manager (or who I thought) was the manager greeted us all goodbye and made sure our service was good during ordering. Just an added touch of care. Thank you for a great family memory and the price isn't bad either.“

We have gone probably ten times so far. Atmosphere is great and even better now after the remodel. The service is sometimes slow, but the staff are always friendly and helpful. The drinks are a little pricey too. I just paid ten bucks for a shot of Jack Daniel's on Friday. Most other places that would be between 6-8 bucks. Highly recommended Acapulco though.“

“I’ve been to peri peri several times, with large groups, solo and smaller parties. The food here is always fresh and fairly delicious. I’ve ordered their steaks, wraps, mock tails, burgers, fries and chicken sandwiches. You really can’t go wrong with the food here. One thing that they need to work on is the speed and sense of urgency when patrons have been waiting on orders. When it is packed just be prepared for items to come out slowly, for orders to arrive at staggering times or for orders to potentially be messed up. Orders have also been messed up consistently, with items missing or things not being served exactly as ordered or with accurate preferences. I came back the following day after receiving a messed up order last night. I called and spoke to the cashier and she recognized the mistake and said I could come back the following day. When I arrived, the man was insisting that my order was correct and I just didn’t like my burger. I know my order was incorrect because it was missing the specific sauce that I asked for on the burger. Please work on customer service and there needs to be quality control and for someone to double check orders for accuracy. I still love this place and will continue to support“

“The staff at this location was good, but the quality of the food was a problem. I ordered 2 salads and the lettuce on the salads was old and the spring mix and spinach were wilted. We had to pick a lot of it out. The meat however was flavorfully and tasty. The 2 side orders were tasty as well. As far as atmosphere, the floors were sticky and needed a good cleaning. The glass partition also needed to be cleaned. Overall, a little cleaning and attention to the food would have changed the whole experience.“
