“Hey, all! So, if you are looking for a casual and comfy neighborhood spot to enjoy authentic Chinese Cuisine, this is the place! :) Service was great and it was a good value! The only thing was that their vegetarian chicken (I am not a vegetarian, but, I like to try veggie cuisine sometimes) could use a bit more in the realm of flavor/texture was a bit "off". HOWEVER... we had another meal that was chicken (non vegetarian chicken, that is) and it was VERY good. The sauce they used on the grilled chicken and mixed veggies was FANATASTIC! I would also like to add that their hot and sour soup was quite phenomenal. I recommend them for a quick bite while strolling Greenbelt's lovely Roosevelt Square.“
“The employees were on the ball today! I was in shock. Sometimes not so fortunate. But today, the chicken was good, the service was fantastic. I only wasted eight minutes with four cars in front of me. What happent? Oh happy day y'all.“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Los Caballeros for their weekend brunch and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the staff and the owner himself. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and had a laid-back vibe, perfect for a lazy weekend brunch. Now let's talk about the food. Los Caballeros proved to be a pleasant surprise. They were able to accommodate options for vegetarians, vegans, and pescatarians. But what truly stole the show for me were the drinks. I highly recommend trying their pitcher of tamarindo margarita. It was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy, and definitely hit the spot. They also had other options like mimosas and bloody marys for those who prefer a classic brunch drink. The owner, who was also our server, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He made sure we were enjoying our meal and even gave us some recommendations for their signature dishes. It was evident that he takes great pride in his restaurant and wants his customers to have a memorable experience. To end our brunch on a sweet note, we decided to try their dessert. And let me tell you, it was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.Overall, my experience at Los Caballeros was exceptional. From the food to the drinks to the service, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend checking them out for their weekend brunch or even for a regular meal. The owner and his team have truly created a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for their customers. So next time you're in the mood for some delicious food, head over to Los Caballeros and treat yourself to a delightful brunch. You won't regret it.Parking: This area of parking gets very busy due to being right beside the area of the Capitol.“
“I come to this restaurant a few times a month. The place is very exceptional. It has great food that can be an alternative to typical fast food places. If you tire of fast food, I recommend people should come here.Have you tried their fried chicken?“
“Today, we were incredibly fortunate to visit a unique restaurant, Monocle, located on Capitol Hill. We initially chose it due to its proximity to our hotel, but it turned out to be a true "Washingtonian gem." Opened in 1960, this restaurant has been operated by the same family ever since. The menu is concise, which we believe highlights the culinary excellence presented in merely five dishes. We were in search of "authentic American steaks from real American beef from real American cows." What we received far exceeded our expectations. Both steaks we ordered were exquisitely prepared to perfection. We both agreed that these were the best steaks we've ever had the pleasure of eating in our lives. #MasterpieceAs if the meal itself wasn't enough, our server, Marinos Apostolopoulos, provided us with a genuine journey through the history of this establishment. We are deeply grateful!Given its location near the Capitol, the restaurant has been visited by at least half of American politicians over the last 60 years, including Presidents Nixon, Kennedy, Bush, and Clinton. Celebrities like Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, among other incredible individuals, have also frequented this place. The number of VIPs and their dedications displayed in their own photos hanging on every wall is truly astonishing. One of the servers celebrated his 50th work anniversary here two months ago with a surprise party for 250 people, an event that was featured on the front page of the Washington Post, which we had the opportunity to read. The place is beautiful, with incredibly friendly service and excellent food. The wonderful experiences we had will stay with us forever. It's worth traveling for moments like these. We highly recommend it and would love to return someday.“
“I taken there for the first time on my b'day, which was March 10th. We sat at the bar and I had THE BEST experience!! ? Erica, the bartender, took great care of us and she made sure that I had the best b'day experience...she was wonderful! ?The food was delicious and I happily got a lil tipsy from the lavender mimosas I had. ???“
“The food here is AMAZING. I'm actually glad this place is far from me and on the expensive side because if it was closer and cheaper I'd be eating here constantly. My table got the waygu egg rolls, Mac and cheese, broccolini, Hawaiian steak, jerk crab cakes, and the jerk lollipop chicken. All of it was on point. Drinks are pretty expensive for what you get. That was probably the only disappointment. Music is a little loud for my liking but it is a minor nit in an absolutely amazing experience.“
“Treasure islanddddd! I love love loved this spot. From our server Yvette, to the drinks she brought us, the oysters, the mussels, and the soup... fire. Recently returning from New Orleans and having a new layer of love for seafood, I was in love with Jerry's Seafood. I would loveee to RUN back to this location. Plans WILL be made to return!“
“I dropped in on an early Monday evening for take-out and had a drink while I waited. They have some pretty awesome menu items and it was quite difficult for me to chose. I opted for the veggie chimichanga. I ordered a margarita, snacked on some chips and delicious salsa and enjoyed the wait. After I dug in at home, I was pleasantly pleased with the presentation of my food along with the tastiness. It was amazing! I couldn't believe I've lived in the area my whole young adult years and never been there! Definitely a place to keep in your pocket!“
“Immediately walking into Grill Marx customer service was amazing! The bartender, Sophie, was a prestine drink making machine! Not to mention, Jackie, Nikki, and Logan were extremely team oriented and helpful as well!I ordered the smokehouse burger, medium, per recommendation of Sophie and Logan, and it came out perfectly pink. I can definitely say that my dining experience at Grill Marx made my day 1000x better. 10/10 would recommend, it is truly the best restaurant in College Park, MD. I will be returning soon!“
“Fantastic find! We shared the burrata, which was very good. My husband had oysters, which he loves and eats frequently. These were fresh and just the right amount of briny. I had the seafood chowder - tasty and spicy without too much heat to enjoy. Sizeable portion - I brought half home. We shared a creme brûlée- terrific. But what set this place apart was the service - attentive, incredibly polite and highly competent, like the level of service you get at a Michelin starred restaurant. We were lucky to get a walk-in table at 5:30. I'd get a reservation. I can see why it's so busy - great place.“
“JC has the best crabs! I’ve been eating crabs from JCs for over 4 years now and they haven’t let me down! Cindy is so kind and personable, she’s very knowledgeable about the crabs and sizes. I’ve got to know her mom as well and their very kind people! I usually get extra large or jumbo crabs, their delicious corn, their sweet tea and brown paper roll as my regular order and I have been let down! Thanks for always providing great service to my self and everyone I refer!“
“Great atmosphere; the place gets busy at 7 and later, where it is bustling and great vibes even on a weekday. That’s when I would recommend coming here. Great service, our waiter checked on us very very often, and was attentive. Food was alright. The po boy was alright, wouldn’t order again. The brisket sandwich was really good though! Fries were soft, not crunchy, which I actually enjoyed but I know a lot of people don’t. Pecans brownie was soooooo good! Super warm and soft and strong chocolate, really generous on the pecans too! And a nice scoop of ice cream. Overall, if you come here I would come at 7 or later, get the brisket sandwich or smash burger and the pecan brownie.“
“This is me and my daughter's Tuesday happy hour spot and we love it. The food comes out fast and hot and it is delicious. They have plenty of parking, the prices are reasonable. Ask for Biannca whenever you come she is wonderful and she knows how to make a great drink. 2 thumbs up!Parking: Plenty of spots“
“Food was very appealing and tasty, not overly seasoned. Good size portions. Nice atmosphere to get in, sports bar area attached.Staff is kind, professional but a bit slow. On this day I went they got a little disorganized. You must have patience on busy days.Parking: Busy times you may have to park on side streetWheelchair accessibility: Yes, accessible“
“Ordered off DoorDash, wanted pizza and wings but from a place I’ve nvr tried. I ordered the small cheese pizza and 5 hot lemon pepper wings. Wings was a little too saucy, but still good and pizza was great. Taste very similar to Ledos pizza which is one of my favs. I will definitely be ordering again to try the chicken gyro!“
“The food here is extremely fresh and good. The service is also always a plus they care about there customers. The spice wings are great, the steak suya, spinach and jollie rice. All amazing! I am about to try the Asun egg rolls first time buy?“
“El Cielo made our Valentine’s celebration a memorable experience! I wanted to surprise my husband this year and the CCO, Pedro, was very helpful when it came to helping me with last minute reservations. The entire staff was friendly, eloquent, and very professional. My husband and I are both Spanish speakers (it is our mother tongue) and we loved interacting with the staff in Spanish (this made it so much more special to us). Now, as for the food. Let me just start by saying that when I told my husband what our dining experience would be like, he was very skeptical. He is an amateur fighter, and when he is not doing “fighting camps” he LOVES to eat. When we arrived he was already making plans to go eat arepas after, to finish filling his tummy. Needles to say, arepas did not happen after, as he was extremely full from all the courses. Each meal was beautifully presented, and tasted just as divine! We loved knowing what each meal represented and they are all a beautiful homage to Colombia. The atmosphere in El Cielo, is very cozy. The aesthetics of the restaurant itself makes you feel like you are eating at a friends house. From the decorations to the music. Y para terminar, usando las palabras de mi hermoso esposo después de finalizar nuestra cena “Parce, toda esta comida estaba tan rica que te hace sentir que estás en el cielo”. El Cielo, un nombre tan propio para este encantador lugar. Nuevamente, muchísimas gracias a todos por hacer, y ser parte, de esta experiencia única e inolvidable para nosotros. Hasta la próxima!“
“Can not rave enough about this amazing bar from acclaimed Chef Johnny Spero. Every dish is perfectly balanced and the presentation is phenomenal. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The bartenders are focused on delivering a great dining experience and beautiful cocktails. Definitely check out the wine and vermouth options as well.“
“With fun decor and great oysters at good prices, this is a great date destination for dinner. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable even though the restaurant and patio were relatively full. The cocktails were also good!“
“Finally was able to catch the Seafood Boss.(Black Family owned and operated.)Super dope vibes when you pull up… open and inviting atmosphere.. music.. friendly faces.Ive seen them around but never have been able to tap in, so I am super excited to try their food.I got the ‘Salmon Burger and Shrimp Platter’ and a ‘Fish Platter’.Side of fries and onion rings. Its a hot summer day, so I went with the Grape Slushie as well.Cant wait to see what they are working with.“
“Ordered breakfast here this morning On a whim. Didn't see the atmosphere so thats why the lack of stars. Never been here before or know anyone who has. Plenty of menu options along with many ways for you to customize your item. We were happily surprised at how good the food was and the good portions. I'll def order breakfast here again. Will have to check out lunch/dinner too.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.“
“The food was awesome!!We went on Fajitas night. But one get one at half price. I had steak, my husband had chicken, my daughter had shrimp and my daughter in-law had vegetarian. They were ALL awesome.I also enjoyed a strawberry margarita.Kid-friendliness: Good place to bring your family“
“This place is the best kept secret in PG county. Seafood is fresh, I always get the seafood platter with whiting, shrimp, oysters with fries and hush puppies. So so good! Employees are always nice and prices are reasonable. Been going here over 10 years ?“
“The service is superior in every sense of the word. The water glasses never were empty and attention was consistent, but not disturbing. Our group will definitely be back and are grateful for the delicious food, clean restaurant, and prompt “
“As long as I've been going to Edwards crab house I've never had any problems with the crabs they are always clean, big and super heavy and it's worth every penny.Kid-friendliness: They don't have a play area but kids are welcome inside.“
“The food is delicious! I luv their crab cake egg rolls, Hennessy wings, lemon pepper wings. This new spot is beautiful and cozy inside. The owner provided excellent customer service. I'm excited about this new location!! I see great get togethers there.“
“An intimate, golden-hued establishment offering exemplary customer service. Freshly sourced ingredients allow patrons to personally select their seafood for customized preparation of the ice. resulting in delectable dining experiences to take out. No dining in.“
“First lovely day in a while, got to sit out on the patio and enjoy a few drinks and some oysters! Service was pretty slow but since we weren't in a rush it didn't seem so bad. Fries were crispy and the oysters were fresh as always.“
“Excellent ??????I enjoyed the Chicken ? and ? Shrimp ?I customized my order with vegetables and fried rice ?. I choose to top my order with Teriyaki sauce, scallions and sesame seeds.Very nice portions. Good value for the money.Parking: There is plenty of free parking ?️ in the rear. The parking in the front is limited because of all the stores. This restaurant is located on the corner.“
“When I say this place is FIRE! Everything we got was delicious! The smoked salmon sandwich, the avocado BLT with the sunflower flax bread, and the mussels! Come support this amazing black owned establishment! Plus the ambiance at Union Market can’t be beat!“
“Service is much better if you're not dining solo -- I've done both, and believe me, it's a big difference. Menu is limited but the food is usually pretty good, if you can get someone to notice you're there. On my last visit, the only person who saw that I hadn't been waited on was a kind bus person, but I had already lost my appetite and left.“
“I had a pretty good impression overall of checking out this seafood restaurant. It is a family-run business. A quaint 2nd-3rd generation Asian family who has been running this gem ?. Good for them!I went with the crab cake platter which included 2 sides. I picked the coleslaw and french fries. The crab cake was good ??. I loved the crinkle cut fries! The cashier, the daughter of the own I presume, was uber friendly and knowledgeable about things. We talked for a bit. One of the things, I talked with her about was the newly instituted 'Better Bag Bill' in Prince George's County ? (since January 1, 2024.) The new law has enacted that applicable restaurants/businesses are allowed charge a minimum of 10 cents/ paper bag or reusable bag bought by a customer at checkout. I am for the bill ✅, but one of their regular customers (an old school, younger Black lady) was not, so she griped about it whilst she go her to-go order ??.Overall, however, I do have two cons: 1) I wish the crab cake was FRESH and not from frozen ??. I'm all about quality and not convenience - and 2) that coleslaw side was too SMALL as a side. It should equal the size of the french fries I had in my order ??♀️. Those are my thoughts. If I'm in the area I'd pop by or tell a friend, it's a cool spot especially good conversation which I appreciated ?. Cheers!Vegetarian options: This is a seafood restaurant. If you have allergies, have celiac disease (must be gluten-free), a different dietary preference, or a sensitive stomach this may not be the restaurant for you. Be sure to tell the cook staff/cashier about your food needs and other related info.Dietary restrictions: Be sure to tell the cook staff/cashier about your food needs and other related info so they can best assist you.Parking: There is the free and large strip mall parking lot available for you to park.Kid-friendliness: There are foods for kids and if you would like a food menu item altered I would suggest bringing it to the cashier so she can send it to the cook(s.)Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The restaurant layout is standard for a carryout restaurant. It features a with center front door, with an unfurnished front floor (near the door), and huge menu display above a thick plastic protective customer barrier situated about a 1.5 feet above/on the counter space.“
“When I visit Maryland, I have to try and find a nearby MID Atlantic Seafood restaurant. I first discovered the restaurant in January 2024 while doing work in Hyattsville, MD. There was a location right next door to the location where I was working. I literally ate there every day when I was there. I had additional trips there in February. I have family in Maryland and my family here in Virginia are planning to visit there. Soooooooo much food and soooooooo good ?. There are tons of variety of food items and desserts to choose from. I definitely would recommend the establishment to anyone. I hope that other locations are just as good as the Hyattsville, MD location.Vegetarian options: All types of vegetables and salads ?Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I love this place! The atmosphere has changed over the years but overall, it is a great place with good food. I like the music playing in the background as well. Christopher (not sure if he is a manager, host or both) but he went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. There was a seating issue and he corrected it. Would definitely go there again however I am interested to see how the other locations operate.“
“We ordered lunch for 30 people, which the Hunger Tamer catered. The communication with the restaurant was excellent, and they worked with us to finalize and customize a great menu. Delivery was on time and again the communication was on point. My colleagues loved the food which had great flavor and generous portions. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for an event.“
“1st time going here last week cuz I was feenin' for some fried fish. Yo, this joint is on point. Fish was perfectly seasoned and fried, the fries were hot and crisp and the high puppies are excellent. All this and great prices. Definitely check them out. You will NOT be disappointed.“
“The shrimp and grits will forever be my GO TO meal here! The grits were so creamy and delish! The Cajun cream sauce was well-seasoned and not salty at all! I chose to dine in today and the wait time was short, about 10-15 min. I always make this stop when I'm in the area.“
“Let's start off with the ambience. From the artwork and decor to the music you walk feeling warm and welcome. The paintings on the walls are stunning pieces of original artwork and you can feel her love for the restaurant through how she decorates even down to the counter top where the register is. Now to the food. The portions of even the appetizers were enough to fill you up but me and my friends made sure to leave room for our main dishes. I had the suya tacos, plantain, and egusi with fish and garri and not a single dish was a miss. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. This was my 3rd time there and I always come exited to try something new. She's also super patient with me every time I have questions about the dishes, ask for recommendations, or request a modification. I also got to see a paint class in action and am excited to join next time. Also the prices are very reasonable especially considering how much food you get. All in all, 5 stars and will continue to return and bring everyone to check out this gem.“
“Was in the mood for fish and found this one my Google search. Pleasant service, giving a mom and pop vibe. I ordered a whiting sandwich with a side of fries and cabbage. Food was amazing. Fish was made fresh to order, without the long wait. Ate half in the car and tried to save the rest for when I got home.“
“Great food! Nice people. I only gave 4 stars for Service because they ran out of crab for the crab sandwich (it was close to closing time). But that's also a testament to how good their food is. Keep up the great work! If I were to make any suggestions, it would be: extend your hours to 8pm for the dinner crowd. We will be back!“
“Sorry couldn't take photos but I tell you we visited here for wife birthday just have to say happy wife happy life everything was so delicious and hot and on point ? ? drinks was awesome and food was hot and delicious wow I'm driving home saying to myself what a great restaurant and concept if you haven't visited here your missing a great opportunity for good food folks!!“
“Negril offers a taste of Jamaica with its standout jerk chicken dish, bursting with succulent flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance complement the authentic culinary experience, making it a must-visit for lovers of Caribbean cuisine.“
“OMG!! The boil with the World Sauce is out of this world delicious! The crab and crawfish were fresh, the corn and potatoes were delicious and the sausage was incredible and super plentiful! We were honestly pleasantly surprised by how flavorful everything was! We haven't even cleared the table and I'm already writing my review. We just called the manager, Ash, to rave about the food (which we rarely do but it was THAT good) and he was SO kind and appreciative! Just go! You will be so happy you did!!! We will definitely be back, Ash!!“
“A must pit stop when you're in Laurel MD. Great seafood, the lump crab cake is heaven. Try the crab meat cheese steak, you will definitely love it too. This is a grab and go place, there are a few sitting spaces outside for patrons to use but most opt to dine out. Food is reasonably priced. A very good place to get your seafood high.“
“First time visit for a family of 4, so we sampled a lot and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The favorites were the buffalo wings (extra crispy), chicken strips, chicken and rice, and hush puppies. The staff was extremely pleasant. The seating is limited to 10, but most people were ordering takeout, so we happily enjoyed our meal there!“
“We like a lot going out. Yesterday we arrived in this superb restaurant which we didn’t know before. We spent a delightful experience there with great meal and a professional crew and an impressive cuisine. We added this venue in our list and we shall no doubt visit again soon. We highly recommend.“
“•The lady server here is wonderful. She is very polite and attentive.•The food is amazing. The seafood boil, the lobster tail and the crab French fries were delicious. The pricing is decent, especially for seafood.•The ambiance of nautical, which suits the food being served.•Not the best location as far as surrounding attractions, but once you start mingling and eating, you forget that it's in front of Walmart.Dietary restrictions: They have a good amount of GF items on the menu.“
“Seafood was really good. We had a great waitress and bartender was cool too. We had a good time. Would give five stars for seafood, but the key lime pie was too sugary and sort of heavy.Vegetarian options: Not many and mostly fried foodDietary restrictions: Not many low fat options“
“New to the Dmv from New York city first time at this Place good experience the atmosphere and people and food was Good.. Drinks weren't strong enough that's the only thing I had a issue with but I felt comfortable and the Dj played good music will be back soon hoping drinks are Stronger!~“
