“Love this place. It is a treat every time I go. I have never had a bad meal there. Everything is tasty and cooked well. The waitresses are very responsive and give outstanding service. “This is a hidden gem in Dahlgren/King George. Limited opening hours, limited menu, quaint (read: small, not a lot of seating)....but man this was soooo good. And the view! Service is excellent (despite being somewhat understaffed), ambiance is, well, see the picture...spectacular. The blackened shrimp salad is oh so very good. Only downside: asked for iced tea. It came in a bottle, and it wasn't very good. Next time I guess I'll get a soda or just water.“

“The ladies here are so sweet and obviously part of the community. The espresso was good and strong, tho a little too sweet, and they have kid options too. The baked goods were tasty but left a kind of funny film on the roof of my mouth for a while. Will definitely be back and just have to ask for even less syrup but I think would be worth it! They give all their tips to local charity! Really cool art inside as well to admire and for sale. Another customer inside told us how the 3 cats outside were part of the community too with people in town taking care of them and also getting them fixed to keep the population down.“

“Their outdoor area is great for relaxing with a couple beers. A small but varied assortment, so there's something for everybody. They also had some small food dishes to snack on, but we didn't try any on this visit. A nice little neighborhood hangout.“

“We were surprised to come upon live music, excellent beer, great food, and a friendly atmosphere here during an impromptu visit to Colonial Beach. Definitely a hidden gem and a great place to hang out with family or friends. The food was unexpectedly delicious. The giant pretzel was fried a bit to make it buttery and crispy. Served with beer cheese and mustard. The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had! The decor was unique and there were plenty of cozy nooks. There is an outside play area for the kids if you bring them. Cheers!“

“You will NOT believe how incredible the food is! This was a random stop for me and they had the BEST QUESABIRRIA TACOS EVERRRRRRRRR--slow cooked to perfection, tender, moist, FLAVORFUL! I cannot stress it enough, the food is authentic, incredible, and very reasonably priced. I'm already considering the next time I can make the 90 minute trip. Do yourself a favor!“
