“Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.“

He wasn't terrible but he wasn't pleasant and if he would have listened to my order he would have gotten it right the first time. Other than that the food was really good. Seasoned well and nice portions. I ordered two muffins to go and that banana nut was amazing. I'll make that 40min drive just to get another one of those. Definitely recommend.“

“We stopped by on a recent Saturday eve, foolishly hadn’t made reservations, and the place was packed. The awesome Host that night was kind enough to take pity & got us a table within oh, 15 minutes or less, and apologized to us for the “wait!” Food was fantastic (Bauernwurst & Falafel and of course potato pancakes) and the beers matched the food. Our server was great as well, for a busy night we never had to flag her down for refills or anything else’s. Cant wait to go back & try some other dishes!“

You can tell they pay close attention to detail with the warm towels to clean your hands, the decor, and the electronic menu with pictures of the food. It was such a nice touch to see what you are ordering. We ordered the Sultans Platter (which was such a good variety) and sampled additional dishes. Every single dish was so flavorful and cooked perfectly!The belly dancers were really good and friendly. If you arent shy, you can dance with them. Such a great experience!“

After enjoying lunch in the tap room we did the self guided tour and visited the gift shop and had another beer in the beer garden outside. The whole experience was great. We will go back. “Giving 4 stars because the staff was kind. The quality of the pizza was disappointing however. I ordered the Margarita pizza (pic 1), and there was barely any cheese. I grabbed the manager to address the issue, but she stated that was how they are always made. I could however add cheese for an extra 0.99.I eat margarita pizzas all the time, and I’ve never received one with cheese this sparse. The photo on the website looks way better than what I received (photo 3).They kindly remade the pizza for me adding extra cheese (photo 2). This is how it’s actually supposed to look. I don’t know if this is a locational issue, or a chain wide issue.This was a very sad pizza, but thanks to the Manager for getting it remade for me.“

“I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit this establishment late last night. It did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal. The Chicken Tikka probably had some of the best marination I've had in a really long time. Omar, picked up the phone and was awesome. The rest of the staff was great too. Tariq was very hospitable and kind. The restaurant was super clean and provided a great experience. I highly recommend. Their Naan and Curry Lamb is excellent as well. You can't lose eating there!!!“

“I absolutely love this bakery. I found them when we were looking for someone to do gluten free for our wedding. Their service was great and our cake and cupcakes were delicious. They even helped us figure out the design we wanted. Since then we come here regularly for special occasion desserts, or just for a treat.“

“I really enjoyed the food I had, starting with the vegetable samosa, and for my meal, I had the lamb shahi korma. I took an order of the butter chicken home with me. I also had the butter naan and a mango lassi with my meal. I really enjoy Indian food and this location is very convenient and close to my home. Everything tastes fresh and the service is always good. Their signature sushi rolls are amazingly creative and always good. My favorite of all of them is the Veterans Highway roll with real crabmeat. You have to try it. It doesn't matter if you eat in or get takeout, you will not go wrong here! Next time I'll take a pic of the deliciousness!“

I ordered the family package with vegetarian Biryani, which included raita, salan, plain rice, naam, and chicken curry. We got our order and it was missing the salan. I called the restaurant and got the weirdest explanation. “It’s a very small container. They make a large container and if it runs out. But it’s just a small container of peanut sauce.” I don’t care what the size of the container is, it’s advertised as a package and I expect everything in the order.“

It was pretty busy and they didn't have a ton of wait staff so service was a little slow (she was busy the whole time, def not the waitress' fault) but very pleasant. The pizza was cooked well, not burnt, thin enough to not be overpowered by dough, but didn't disintegrate as soon as you pick it up. Will definitely be back.“

“This was far from my first time here, but stopped by for a mother's day lunch today. Not pictured (because I was hungry, sorry) was the charcuterie plate and the Thai steamed mussels. The charcuterie plate had toasted bread, spiced nuts, two cheeses (today was havarti dill and a "grilled" cheese), prosciutto, smoked duck, whole grain mustard, house made pickles and a sweet relish. All the components on their own are delicious, but my favorite pairing was the bread with whole grain mustard, smoked duck, and sweet relish on top. The Thai mussels were cooked perfectly, the broth was light and full of ginger, garlic and coconut, served with a garlic Naan style bread. For desert, the s'mores cake with torched marshmallow, fudge sauce, chocolate cake and a Graham ice cream. It was decadent without being cloying, and a great ratio of chocolate, marshmallow, and Graham cracker that a lot of s'mores desserts get wrong. I also got the espresso marti-no, which was their non alcoholic espresso martini. Essentially a cold brew, but I loved the fancy feeling and it was refreshing and sweet. Our sever, Mike, was attentive and helpful, checked on us frequently but not enough to interrupt the experience. Love the ambiance here and the food is always a hit.“

“Came for dinner with my wife last night. We've been before but long ago. Really nice place. The waitstaff is very attentive; they popped by quite often (but not too often) to be sure that all was well. We got the crab artichoke dip as an appetizer. I got the lobster/shrimp on pasta with parmesan cheese sauce. It was delicious, though they could have put on slightly less sauce. This is the restaurant for the Hotel At Arundel Preserve. Parking is easy as there is a garage right next door, and you don't even have to walk outside to get to the restaurant itself. Slightly pricey but we'll be back. The food and the staff are what will bring us back.“
