“I am new to creole food and the food was very good. Loved the spices! We sat downstairs, they have an upstairs dining room that must open when they're busier. We got the last table before having to wait to be seated. Food was great, service fast and the drinks were well-made. I would come back! I should point out the sodas are not complimentary refills. Somehow my friend had $14 in sodas. Kinda weird and when we asked, they pour Cocola from a can. I prefer fountain when dining out. But still, $14. +tax+gratuity. I didn't take off a star for this. It's a solid 4 star (not fine dining) experience.“

The food is amazing, and the drink selection is huge! Old Major provides the kind of hospitality that used to be practiced more widely, but now is found only in the most special places. Our server was Margo, and she was very nice even though I could tell she was tired as it was 10pm. She was still very attentive, which was so amazing to me. I probably would have gotten over it- but when I called the manager over to the table he didn’t even APOLOGIZE. Just asked who the waitress was and had her bring the check. Like really?! Not again…“
