“I attend this location frequently but this is my first time trying it for restaurant week.Here are my thoughts:- The customer service from bartender Jason was phenomenal. He was our waiter while we sat at the booth in the bar area. He was fast, kind, extremely efficient, prepared, and attentive. I have no complaints. 5/5 for customer service.- My son’s ribs were filling and large but a bit pricey. The broccoli was a little mushy but definitely seasoned. The fries had a good crunch but was only warm (not hot). Overall his meal was about 3.8/5- I ordered the fried pickles, stuff shrimp with broccoli, and bread pudding. I used to love their fried pickles but now I don’t. They changed the recipe and now serve them like a thin basket of fries. Previously, they were thick (like a spear) and served in a tall basket that stood up. The new formula and presentation used extremely thin, nearly shredded pickles. Again, the broccoli was mushy but seasoned. The stuffed shrimp was delicious but the portion was so small. It didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth for the restaurant deal. The bread pudding was really tasty but I wish I had ice cream to add to it. Anyway, I would rate that full meal as a 3.3/5 for portion and mushy veggies.- My spouse’s meal was the boom boom shrimp, pork chops with mash potatoes & coleslaw, and black bottom cheesecake. The boom boom shrimp was very good but we did ask for ranch dipping sauce on the side. The pork chops were amazingly juicy. They came with an apple sauce for dipping but I didn’t like the flavor combination. The coleslaw was decent. The black bottom cake was just ok. I’m glad it came with my meal because otherwise, I wouldn’t have ordered that dessert. Overall, this meal was a 4.2/5 strictly for the mash and porkchop.- Wings were a to go order for someone else. They said the wings were good but wish they had a little more ranch dipping sauce. 4/5“

Just as important as the food, is the service, Michael made sure that we were comfortable, answering all questions and providing excellent recommendations when they were asked for. No one could have asked for a better tour guide to lead our Marta experience..when making reservations..request him..I promise you won’t be disappointed. Appetizers! Tuna Cannoli..if you think you know tuna..I’m here to say NAW! This dish was whimsical and full of flavor. The tuna was fresh and prefect encased in a light cannoli shell..the sesame seeds tied the whole dish together for me perfectly. Beef tartare(my personal favorite) vibrant color and palate pleasing flavors! I like the addition of beets in place of the traditional capers. Even my one friend who hates beets agrees that it brought a great element to this dish. Oysters! Perfectly briny and chilled expertly the pink peppercorn granita was Everything! Entrees: I enjoyed the Agnolotti which was a fall themed plate of warm comfort food! The spiced squash and apple stuffed pasta was so flavorful..but just when you thought it couldn’t get better, BOOM! Brown butter sage sauce! Please do yourself a favor..make your reservation to enjoy this dish before it goes away..you won’t regret it. The risotto my friend enjoyed with the meatballs from the antipasti menu was creamy and honestly had me making my next reservation in my head so I could enjoy it all by myself! Saffron Brodo, Aged Parmesan, bring this dish home! He couldn’t stop raving about the meatballs and I know they must have been great because he didn’t share..lol My dear friend ordered the Panzotti featuring stuffed Duck and Foie Gras! All components of this dish worked together to create perfection! Wine list..well thought out and composed. When our initial choice was temporarily unavailable, cue Nick with a perfect recommendation for an alternative bottle! Desserts..we ordered them all..don’t judge..lol..we couldn’t decided..lol..and you only live once! In addition to ordering them all..you bet the 3 of us finished them all too! So no further details required..I just suggest you make sure to save room for at least one of these sweet temptations..really any one..you won’t regret it! “We had a large dinner party at Gunther and Co and the consensus of the group was that we would all be back. The food was so delicious! Even the simple dishes were done so well. We ordered the pork chop and the halibut, but everyone got something different. The apps and cocktails were also well crafted and delicious. And our server took our app and dinner orders at the same time to make sure everything came out in a timely manner. There was a never a moment where we were wondering where the food was. From the Susan's Shrimp appetizer...to the Maryland Crab Soup, perfect starters. Then an entree of Maryland crab cakes with roasted Brussel sprouts and slaw, accompanied by in house tartar, well played pairing. The other “off menu” entree offering was pan grilled red snapper topped with lump crab and velvety beure blanc sauce with roasted root vegetables.....heaven! Finished off with a house grand marnier creme brûlée....NO words! Chef Akbar has outdone himself and still takes the time to check on his patrons table-side should you request, as I did. “I've always loved this place in the past. We expected to wait on Sunday for brunch. Told 45 minutes, you can take a walk, so we did. About 20-25 minutes, then waited on the sidewalk while they called other people. After 20 more minutes, I asked to see where we were on the list and they'd been calling people who arrived after us. The atmosphere is nice and one of the main things I liked here. Acoustics are terrible though. When everyone is talking, it's hard to hear your dining companions. The prices have gone up, like everywhere, and the food was just good. Probably won't return for a while.Vegetarian options: They used to have a veggie Benny, but it was not on the menu this time. Not super impressed with veg options.“

“We were fortunate to have Shannon, who is a manager, wait on us. I'm confident that under her leadership and that of the other managers, all the wait staff is as excellent! The food is fantastic. I had a soft shell crab special and my dinner guest had the famous crab cakes that were wonderful. Yes, I got a hunk of bread in the piece of crab cake he shared, but it was delicious anyway and I could see that the cake was predominantly lump meat. For dessert, we had the locally made ice cream that is phenomenal. The flavor "Beautiful Struggle" (I think?) is a tangy, delicious berry-flavor that is like sherbet on steroids. It struggles to be ice cream vs sorbet and it's amazing. So is the chocolate.We had the whole main entrance room to ourselves on a Saturday evening which was great as we had a service animal escort, which was welcomed and accommodated beautifully. So appreciated! Highly recommend Pappas... you'll have a tough time running out of options no matter how often you visit. I'm looking forward to a Steak Chesapeake. Don't forget that across the intersection is their takeout place! And, if the generous parking happens to somehow be full, it's OK to overflow there. “I've been going to Mahaffey's since 2010, at least. It's small but cozy in this establishment with a huge bar on one wall, high top tables opposite, and some regular tables and chairs in the back. What stands out to me about Mahaffey's is their solid craft beer options. It's been like this since I've been a patron, which is great. I love the consistency. The food here is good, despite there not being much space for a kitchen and cooking. Staff has always been attentive and friendly. Nothing not to like here (except Mahaffey's is in Canton and I live in Pigtown and thus don't visit as often as I'd like).“
“This was our second time at OLAR. The service and food is unmatched. Yesterday, Ellie did something a server has never done before. She asked me what drink I was interested in, I explained I want to try all of them but I cannot have Vitamin K due to a blood disorder and autoimmune disease. She asked me some questions about what I can or cannot have and what I liked. Then she said, “ I’m going to make a drink just for you!” She was making my drink and half way through she double checked if I can have egg whites, honey or agave. My heart burst because she really cared! A few minutes later she brought my wife and I our drinks. It was a gorgeous pink drink garnished with pretty flower petals. I think that’s what they were, I ate ‘em as I sipped this cocktail perfection that was safe for me to drink. I had two of these magical pink cocktails. Then as we were closing out our bill Ellie gave me the recipe on a server ticket. “The No K” was written at the top. “When you come back show the bar tender this and we will make it for you!” Y’all, that’s love! And as for the food…it tastes like love… no regrets.“
“Family friendly, service is usually quick and always pleasant. I'm a basic NYC slice kind of gal but my kids like the pizza and the sandwiches are tasty. I recommend asking for dressing on the side for salads and reading through the full description to ensure no topping surprises (like tomatoes and mushrooms on the Buffalo Chicken pizza). We seem to always show up on trivia night so the skeeball is not an option, but we'll make it happen eventually! “Two guys grill and pub is a consistency tasty and good time. They have amazing eggs Benedict Saturday and Sunday for their brunch til noon, delicious chili during the winter months, as well as great crab cakes, meatloaf, and I honestly can't get enough of their fried pickles. They have karaoke certain nights as well as many TVs with the games on. Overall a reasonably priced place with tasty food and neighborhood feel. The servers are also very friendly and helpful. Good ipas on tap as well.“

“We just had the most delicious meal at McFauls! We regularly eat at this restaurant and love it, but when the menu changed a few months ago, they had removed some of our favorites. Thankfully, they have put the delicious fish tacos back on the menu! The Carne Asada tacos were also very delicious as well as the burger and sweet potato fries. The portions were generous, and the side salads were yummy! There’s a great vibe in the bar area and also love the room with the fireplace. McFauls is a go-to for us and we will be returning soon. “We visited for brunch on our anniversary. It was nice that they called to verify our reservation and verified our seating request and our occasion. The view was absolutely beautiful. The food tasted great. The service was outstanding! I gave them a four because of the value. The set was the standard items that you find at any buffet style brunch other than oysters and the meats and cheese. It was eggs, bacon, shrimp, grits, fruit, vegetables, carving station etc. very nice and again tasty. But at $70 a person you are paying for the view. I would also say some of the furnishing and area could use a bit of care, updating and renovation.“

“The Knotty Pine is an upscale Baltimore corner bar with an intimate feel. Try the smash burgers while you’re here, you won’t be disappointed. The service here is top-notch!I ordered the bacon and bleu cheese burger with extra bleu cheese. This was the most flavorful, juicy burger I have ordered in a very long time. I could have easily consumed two more!My friend ordered the flatbread pizza. Keep in mind this is a pizza crafted with unleavened dough. You’re essentially eating your pizza on a giant flour tortilla shell. Consequently, the “pizza” had hard, crunchy edges. While it worked as bar food, it more closely resembles an open-faced quesadilla than it does a pizza.Meanwhile, my other friend devoured his burrito bowl. He remarked upon the bowl’s beautiful presentation.Not much thought went into interior lighting here. I found it harsh and glaring.
