“We once again visited the GRT as it is one of the best music venues around (it’s all about the music!) I had the mushroom soup and it was one of the best mushroom soups I have had. Hints of white wine, Parmesan cheese and lots of mushrooms! Thanks all Chuck and Karen“
“I had a craving for a BLT and stopped by to grab one to go. This sandwich has the good fats (avocado) and bad fats (crispy bacon and not bad at all), crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes. The bread was perfectly toasted and I got it with fries (also delicious).“
“Fun place, bottomless mimosas were delicious and the service was great. Enjoyed the live music! We went for Sunday brunch in the winter but this would be a great spot in the summer with the water view and huge outdoor space.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu“
“Great food. Great staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Great place to hang out with friends.Wheelchair accessibility: The only complaint I have is that it is not handicap accessible so I could not bring my father there for a meal. He would love this place!“
“Unfortunately, my party of seven arrived too late in the evening for the crabs--the room was completely booked. Everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks and meals. My fried seafood platter was average, but I did enjoy the cornmeal hushpuppies. Wellwood is a little pricey, but worth the atmosphere and charm.“
“Stopped here for first time with my wife and aunt. We got fish and chips, cheese steak, wings, and cream of crab soup. We enjoyed every item and had to carry stuff home. Our waitress was both friendly and helpful. We will stop here again. Only bad thing, Ravens lost.“
“I definitely recommend that you all try this place! My favorite thing on the menu is the shrimp summer rolls with the peanut sauce. The sauce is perfect with the rolls. I also enjoy the pho, especially when it’s freezing outside Lol.I seem to be serviced by the same two girls, they are also sweet and amazing! We needed this in Aberdeen, thank you Miss Saigon Pho and Boba.“
“My go-to place for Maryland steamed crabs. All through the summer and early fall I'll get crabs once or twice per month from Crabs Out Back. I have been to many local places to get steamed crabs but Crabs Out Back has consistently been the most reasonably priced for steamed (or live) crabs. The staff is very friendly and most of the time the crabs are steaming hot, sitting on the counter at the exact time I said I'd be there to pick them up. Most importantly, the crabs are always perfectly steamed, perfectly seasoned and delicious! If you are lucky you may be able to find their crab pretzel which I highly recommend too. However they seem to quickly sell out of their pretzels so make sure to pick one up if you see it in the display. You'll be happy that you did!“
“I'm sorry but I haven't been there I've seen pictures of it and it looks beautiful I would like to try my hand and golf out there I got all my equipment I need.I'd like for somebody to share some things with me about the golf club place Bull Rock“
“I highly recommend Basket Case Crabs for your seafood needs! The crabs we got were big and full and at a great price. We also got a very delicious crab pretzel and crab mac salad. Very friendly owners and just an all around great place! We'll definitely be back.“
“Date of visit: Mon Aug 21, 2023When driving through Maryland, enjoying crab is always on the menu.We looked for a small, local place that offered a nice crab meal that would satisfy our cravings. We found that in the Promenade Grille.Located right on the waterfront, the promenade grille is a small local diner seafood shack. They have many typical summer shack items, but true to Maryland style – crab is the main item.We ordered a soft shelled crab sandwich with cucumber salad, and a crab cake sandwich, and both came with hushpuppies. The meals are served very fresh and hot, and everything wa absolutely amazing. They have a lovely covered patio where you can enjoy your meal, rain or shine. After you enjoy your meal, you can walk along the water on a boardwalk and enjoy the views, the wildlife, and waterfowl. There are 2 museums along the way that you can visit.Along the way – you will find a lovely park, with a pier with carvings of local birds, and a light house. This is the perfect place to get a delicious Maryland crab meal with a view.“
“The carry out experience was impeccable. The crab wontons were tasty, crisp wonton filled with rich crab dip served with dipping sauce with just the right amount of spice. The Roman Holiday included generous portions of luscious cheese filled baked lasagna and crispy chicken parmesan covered in mozzarella cheese, and a portion of fettuccine covered in Alfredo. The fettuccine would have benefitted from a tad more sauce, but overall the dishes were flavorful, and the portions were generous enough for at least two meals. In addition, the dinner included a large, fresh side salad with the Olive Tree's scrumptious house salad dressing and two soft bread sticks.Having eaten at Olive Tree on numerous other occasions, I also recommend the calamari, cream of crab soup, seafood or blackened chicken Alfredo“
“This is my first visit and a chance meeting with this place. I'm from DEEP south Alabama and I wanted some famed Maryland crab. Sadly, due to a screwing from the Maryland Department Fisheries, this place received a poor "lottery" tick from allotted yearly crab.Ok. I got their homemade crab cakes. FANTASTIC. They give you a couple of sauces for the cakes. But you won't need them. The abundance of crab, spices and small amount of bread....coupled with the flavor of the cooking oil, yields a delicious treat. The homemade broccoli salad was very good. However, my farts now smell really weird. No kidding.“
“General atmosphere for a pub. Beautiful sunny day so I opted to sit on the patio. A little warm since they still had the patio window areas closed. Still nice to be outside. The server was very pleasant and attentive. Cream of crab soup was delicious. I had a side salad - that was not very impressive and there was a glaring bad spot on the sliced cucumber. The seared tuna appetizer was great. Heavy handed on the blackened seasoning but I enjoyed it none the less. I will go back if in the area again.“
“Glad we stopped at this little gem. Family owned (Mom and young adult children manning the counter and register) Caribbean spot with LOTS of options. BBQ chicken, Jerk Chicken, curries, fried plantains, beans and rice, etc. I was in line when I expressed interest in the diner in line ahead of me was getting. Seconds later I the mom was handing me a small bowl with oxtails for my first sample. Ultimately I ordered it. Too fatty for my taste, but the sauce was tasty and made the red beans and rice wonderful. Jerk chicken was tasty and moist. Sides were hit and miss. Hot fries were good. My corn muffin was stunningly fresh - definitely made that day if not an hour before because it was still a little warm and very moist. No mass produced dry cornbread there. No normal fountain drinks. Instead, bottles of Coke de Mexico and homespun concoctions, including a tamarind drink. My daughter enjoyed her orange-pineapple-ginger juice. Lots of people getting carry out. The dining room is spartan. Not a romantic place but functional. I hope to get back there again when I am in the area. 4.5 stars.“
“Had lunch here for the first time, it was hard to choose my entree there was so many delicious sounding options. I decided on the crab bruschetta Flatbread, so good...and of course a delicious chocolate cake was the choice. The service was great more importantly the food came out pretty quickly. The restaurant was very clean. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend giving this place a try.“
“Down in Havre De Grace for work and Kyle and I had to find something to eat for lunch. We found Pats Pizza and it slapped! I recommend the Hot Honey Ricotta and Vodka Cream Sauce slice! Cheers fellas when we’re back down here we’ll be going to Pats Pizza ?“
“Went to dinner with my family (4 kids 10,7,5,3) on a stay at GWL. Rebecca was our server and she was the highlight of our visit- incredibly kind and very friendly to all of us- especially our children. The food was great and the service was quick. The host was also incredibly kind.“
“This may be the weirdest review ever but here goes. I have never actually eaten here but was stationed at Aberdeen PG in 1970-71. Really enjoyed Maryland for the most part and growing up in Mississippi I was exposed to several dishes that we had never heard of at the time in the Deep South. Submarine sandwiches believe it or not were one. We had Po Boys which were similar but not exactly the same thing. Also grew to love fried clams which no one here at the time ever ate. Of course we had oysters from the gulf and plenty of blue crab but the steamed crab Maryland style was superior to our boiled crab. By the way Marylanders, many of the crabs y'all are now eating come from the gulf not Chesapeake Bay. A friend of mine who is a crabber on Lake Pontchartrain sells all of his #1 crabs for export to Maryland as he makes twice as much than selling the locally . Anyway, I do wish I could make another trip to the area and see what is new the last 50 years. From the looks on yelp, a lot. I am a foodie though and have learned to read between the lines on Yelp reviews and based on that, I would definitely give this place a try. It looks great and I feel sure it is. Bon appetite!“
