“I belive I found one of those great "holes in the wall" pubs we often hear about. The food is hot, delicious, and plentiful. The service is timely, attentive, and very conscientious of making your experience great. The atmosphere is family friendly, Ravens and Orioles centric mixed with a a diverse genre of music at the perfect volume level to enjoy a bar atmosphere but still have a conversation without yelling into an ear. Great place!!!“

“We've never had a bad meal at this Red Hot & Blue location. My favorites have been: Burnt Ends Appetizer, RHB Chopped Salad, Grandma's Potato Salad (very little mayo), and Carolina-Style Pulled Pork Sandwich (though needs a better vinegar with a bit of hot pepper) with a side of coleslaw. Staff are all very friendly and check-in to make sure you are happy and if you need anything else. I only gave 4 stars due to a waiter bringing balsamic vinegar for a Carolina-Style Sandwich (no, no, no). We will return...frequently.“

Settled in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood you'll find yourself a place that feels like home. I've been there a few times so far and every time I have left there beyond satisfied. “After driving by the restaurant for the past few years, my wife and I finally tried it tonight. Our overall thought was why we had yet to try it before. The food was delicious. “First time my brother and I were here for St. Patrick's Day. The place was really busy, but the servers, bar tenders, and the rest of the staff were awesome. Someone was always available to take an order, clear plates, or come by to check if we needed anything. I ordered their calamari appetizer, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and bread, and my brother ordered their bangers sandwich. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed for a while, and for the start of a live band, they had in for St. Patrick's Day. I definitely recommend checking this pub out if you are in the area.“

“A wonderful find, just a short, safe walk from the cruise terminal where our ship had just docked on Monday night.Large choice of beers and a good, lively atmosphere with music and sports on the tvs. We didn’t eat but the food looked good.“

“A new spot that we’ve been trying to go here since it opened. Very “Octo” themed and has the decor to go with it. It has a nice bar downstairs with tables in the back. Walk upstairs and you’ll find a quaint room with more tables and a very nice separate bar for private parties or as an additional bar. Everything we tasted was great and the presentation was a delight to the eyes. You have to try the octopus ceviche and the ostrich tartar. The drinks were very tasty as well and everything was adequately priced. We’re going to add this spot to our dinner outing rotation and bring our supper club members. Definitely the best spot we’ve been to in the past year.“

“When Yelp ask "would you recommend this business" I wish they provide a "hell yeah" option! I went hear a few weeks ago, because I stay craving this damn burger! Food is cooked to order, so.appreciate the brief wait, because they also provide friendly customer service. I usually check Instagram to make sure they are firing up the grill, and they seem to br wrapping things up by 4pm. Tip: add those caramelized onions to your burger! And definitely get fries with your meal. I was too into my food to take a picture for yall“

“Omg just eat here now!!! The pit ham sammiches are 10 out of 10 and I grew up eating those Pennsylvania Dutch market ham sammiches so I know what I’m talkin about. The wait isn’t bad and the staff are so nice. As far as pit beef on this side of town, nothing beats them either.“

“My daughter's basketball team came on a Monday evening to celebrate the end of their season with ice cream. I called and spoke to Natalie in advance to make sure they could accommodate our group of over 20. She welcomed us to come, identified a space large enough for our group, and she and the rest of the staff did a great job of helping and serving us during our visit. Highly recommend this location!“

“My first visit to Charly’s. Definitely not my last! Our server Victoria was wonderful! She was helpful with the menu and directed me to their spicy margarita which was perfect. “Always a great place. Only 1 time did we feel rushed out. We were having breakfast with family that we hadn't seen in awhile. We were catching up when one of the employees came over and said that they needed the table. We could move to a different table. They had 8 people waiting to be seated. We left. While leaving I saw plenty of open tables. I was leery of going back when my husband's brother invited us for breakfast again. This time was better.“

“Have been to this pub three times and have been very happy with the food and service each time. The crab tots are a great appetizer and almost too good, as we ended up finishing that appetizer and struggling to finish our main courses. The sushi burrito was well prepared and fresh, although I wish it was a little larger. The sushi bowl, with the Smaltimore Bowl being my choice, was also great, with a solid portion of salmon and tuna and fresh ingredients across the board. The service was also top notch.“

“We came here for the superbowl and Mother's blew it out of the water with service and provisions! We were served by an amazing staff and the food was superb. We tried the crab pretzel, the Lamarvelous cheesesteak, and the Shrimp Po'Boy. Everything was so good and we will definitely be back!“

So $12 for a burger reminds me of that scene from Pulp Fiction where Vincent orders a $5 dollar shake and is questioning the validity of a five dollar shake.Shakes at 5Guys are like $7.So, is it worth it? A $25 dollar burger, fries and shake meal? ?Maybe once a year.However, the store was really clean. Like ridiculously clean. I loved it. And they have baby high chairs. So you know that matters to me alot. So overall, yes. Once a year I'll drop in for a burger, fries and milk shake. But only once a year. See ya'll again in 2025.“

“Really great place! Stopped in for a quick breakfast. The staff here were very warm and welcoming, and were helpful in answering our questions. We ordered at the counter and then took a seat with our number. I had one of the breakfast burritos which was good and very filling. My partner had the BALT and a side of home fries. This was also very good. This place is inside an interesting old building with seating next to the large windows, very lovely space.“

My wife and I were at John Hopkins for our 2 month old and the employee called me and said " I hope everything works out for your baby" and left a note on a free piece of cake!! “On the hill is my favorite coffee shop in Baltimore. Food & drinks are consistently good and reasonably priced. You can't beat $6.50 for a bacon egg & cheese bagel. They have online ordering which makes it super convenient to order coffee on my way to work. They also have those cane sugar sodas on draft which are so good if you are going on a coffee break, I don't know where else you can get a fountain cream soda.“

My waitress was excellent, friendly, and the 2 scrambled eggs, 2 big pancakes, 2 crisp bacon strips, order of hash browns, plus small pitcher of coffee were excellent. I love the fact that they still give the free ice cream with their kids meal even on delivery platforms but that isn’t what this is about. It did take a little while for it to be ready because of a mistake, but a manager took care of me and made sure I was happy before leaving even though I told them the mistake was not a big deal and I didn't mind waiting(they caught the mistake before I even saw it). Everyone received the food they ordered and enjoyed it. The kids all loved the color-changing spoons with their ice creams. The manager came over to ask if we were all satisfied. The restaurant building and furnishings are older, but everything was clean. When we left, the staff were friendly and said good bye. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for families that want a family-friendly, affordable, and yummy place to eat.“
