“I grew up in this area. The restaurant located in Four Corners was once the home to a Seafood restaurant named Fred and Harry's. Now there are 3 restaurants in its place. My initial feelings of the 4 Corners Pub were positive and I was frequenting several times throughout the months. The place is definitely a hotspot. On Thursdays half off pizza. On more than one occasion my order wasn't properly prepared and when I informed the staff they questioned me which left me feeling some kind of way; especially after all the support. Anyway, I don't visit that often except for their fries. I've ordered fries on numerous occasions and recently I was handed a box of burned fries. I contacted them and was told no problem that when I returned they would make another. When I arrived I believe it was the owner who questioned it; as I, by accident had brought in the wrong container which had some food scraps in it. It had gotten mixed up with a container I was going to throw away. I was told I didn't even have to bring it in. The owner kept insisting the fries weren't burned. They did however prepare me another which was excellent. Thanks to the manager. You are appreciated.“

“Excellent beer in a basement that serves a great selection of Belgian and monk-ist beers. Beers are affordable ($8-15), especially because most of them are higher in abv. I didn't have a chance to try the food, but I'd come back to try mussels! Their menu looked intriguing. Service was a typical bar but their seating was very cool chapel pews. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. Bartender was efficient and seemed to have quite a few regulars at the bar. Overall a quiet place to have conversations! I'll be back.“
“I took my husband here for a birthday lunch. He ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the salmon avocado salad. Both were amazing!! The salad had fresh ingredients and even the dressing tasted homemade. The fish and chips were fried to perfection and melted in your mouth. Service was excellent and we were made to feel right at home. The restaurant was clean and inviting and I can’t wait to return once the outdoor patio is open. “My friend and I came here after the zoo because it was conveniently located right across from the Asia trail. I ordered a Posh BLTA without the B and my boyfriend ordered Oeufs Norweigienne (sp?). I enjoyed my sandwich A LOT, however, my friend's had EGG ON TOP OF EGG. They had to have used like 6-7 eggs for that thing. It tasted delicious, but he felt sick afterward from having so many eggs. We were going to walk around the rest of the day and we didn't have a car, plus I don't like eggs, so unfortunately we had to waste the rest of his meal. The waiter was super weird about it and kept ignoring us, and I think he was upset that my friend didn't finish. It's not our fault, and it was yummy, but how can anyone finish that many eggs?! Lol! “The Queen Vic is located on the H Street Corridor. It is a fun pub and event space. I like the royal theme. Check the web site for hours since they vary. The DC Street car runs by H Street. The area can be sketchy at night. Stay with your group and have a cross body bag. It can get crowded on weekends. The menu is typical British pub food.“

Definitely ordering those again. Now, the fried pimiento cheese balls were a letdown; not crispy, too oily, and lacked flavor. They were a curveball since everything else was on point. “Had the opportunity to experience this dining venue for a Sunday brunch,recommended by family member. The brunch menu at first was a little confusing as to what our quantity of options we were entitled to, once that was clarified enjoyed a delightful meal of fried chicken & waffles -brussel sprouts-deviled eggs -berry mixed topping pancakes -crab cakes and a mimosa. The only thing that wasn’t too pleasant was the waiter assigned to us -he didn’t seem very customer friendly-I don’t even think he introduced himself. However his slack was taken up by a wonderful young lady by the name of Allie -very friendly -took the time to explain the menu -when an ordering mistake had been made -corrected it and provided a alternative, she made the experience so much better -excellent customer service“
“There is nothing about this place that doesn’t merit five stars. The service from the bar - Chris, Olga, Jake, and everyone else- are friendly and welcoming. The drink selection is solid and full of favorites. And the food - good lord, the food is outstanding. The best cheese curds, top notch legit red beans and rice - there’s not an off note on the whole menu. Top it off with the fact that I believe that all of their sauces and dressings are house made - like I said, five stars all around!“

In addition, we are entitled to beautiful sunshine on March 17 and a really mild temperature. We are talking about 24 degrees. “Nice dive bar up by the zoo! It's a very chill spot but has lots of seating (a very cute window spot) and is a great place to go watch sports or to go if you have a bigger group. They have cheap beer but also good draft options. We got a bucket of coors banquet for $16, and you get five of them so pretty killer deal. For sure a no frill place but our bartender was lovely and very attentive! Great spot to stop by if you're in the area or looking for a place to watch sports.“

Maryland women were in the tournament, their game was on TV and the one reason why we decided to watch at your place. You failed. You failed to put it on at first when we asked because you said no we're only showing the men's games. Thank you Jane for making sure we could watch it. Next, once the Duke VT game was over you wouldn't put the sound on for the last 3 minutes of the women's game on after being asked twice. Others were watching the MD women's game and asked to have it on, you are a MD establishment. 3 minutes isn't a long time and we didn't need to hear the talking by the commentators at a high volume for 20 minutes, music would have been better. Do better. Women's sports matter. Disappointed.“

From the awesome house made tortilla chips and guacamole to the perfectly seasoned ceviche, the food alone was worth the trip. Our waitress, Myra (not sure if the spelling is right) was SO sweet and accommodating, especially when it came to the awkward splitting of the bill and asking for to-go containers (you’ll need them, the portions are huge!). So they mentioned they had beef ? short Ribs with mash potatoes and green beans. It was the best dish I ever had my entire week in Washington DC.
