“Best crab cake I’ve ever had. Impeccable service. Although the cream of crab soup was a little salty, it was still good. The nachos were piled high and delicious. The augratin potatoes oozed with cheese. The salmon was good, but a little too salty. The asparagus was delicious as well as the mashed potatoes and quesadillas. The seafood sampler was amazing. We loved view as we celebrated a birthday. Don’t forget to order the hot yummy dinner rolls.“
“Absolutely incredible seafood and oysters (shocking for Baltimore I know). Easily some of the best seafood I have had with only a few places in Charleston, SC getting to the same league. Was so good that even with my limited time in Baltimore I decided to go back twice! They also have a great drink selection with interesting cocktails. I had some really good food in the city while I was there but this was the highlight, potentially would visit just to go back here again.Definitely make reservations if possible as it was busy every time I walked by. That being said I was able to get a seat at the bar so it's possible without one.“
“Angel‘S’s is one of the worst seafood places to get crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s. They sell you baby crabs for large crabs that’s not how you do business. Drove out of town to get nice size crabs, and this idiot gave me baby crabs do not go to Angel‘S’s..“
“The service and food was absolutely amazing! I drove in from Buffalo NY to watch the ravens beat chiefs. While that didn’t happen the one bright spot was deciding to give Angie’s a try. The food was absolutely amazing! The crab dip, the crab cakes, my 16oz ribeye smothered in the most perfectly cooked scallops, shrimp, fresh crab meat. It was phenomenal. I can’t remember his name but the guy waiter we had as well was a cool guy. He walked around when he had a minute and had conversations with all the customers so I left an extra tip. Next season when I’m back in town I will be paying them a visit again!“
“Visited this location after getting great news from Johns Hopkins. I've been to many locations nationally and felt it was a safe bet to be "the" place to have a celebratory meal after a long ordeal. I was right, but it actually exceeded my expectations! Food was excellent and the service even better! Our server was Ilana and she was by far the best attentive and personable server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting (if you come here; request her!). I'll most certainly come here again should I visit Baltimore again.“
“Amazing dinner yesterday, I had the Squid Ink Pasta and Caesar salad. It taste really good and the quality was really great. Nice food portions and excellent quality of food. I also had some drinks. The cocktails were awesome and so refreshing. Menu was excellent and they have great portions too. Nice setting and pleasant ambiance.“

“Best Crab Cakes in the City? I think so! This is my 4th Koco's Crab Cake and it is a hit every time. The Crab is always Jumbo lump and sweet. They use very little filler and fries are excellent. Shout out to Manager Angela for the excellent hospitality her and her team delivered during our visit ?“
“Great spot for laid back water front dining. Sit in the back- over the water- great view!Wide variety of items on the menu including seafood, fish, mexican options, salads, burgers. Crab dip was pretty good..needed more Old Bay. Nachos needed fresh cheese and pico vs tiny cup of jarred salsa. The half and half crab soup was amazing!(1/2 cream of crab1/2 MD crab) Also the spicy shrimp and mussels were great! Live music on the weekends- great service!“
“This was our first visit, and boy, are we glad we decided to stop here. We were promptly seated and immediately greeted by our server, Keeley (sp?). She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and even offered some suggestions. Keeley was ver friendly and outgoing. Loved having her as our server! Keeley recommended the hush puppies; they were great!Hubby and I both ordered 2 snow crab clusters, which came with corn and potatoes. We loved that we could choose our sauces (or no sauce) and our spiciness level. Our food arrived at our tabke in a timely manner and was hot. We opened up those steamer bags, and the tantalizing aroma was a delight. The crab legs, corn, and potatoes were cooked perfectly! Yummmmmm! What an enjoyable dinner. We will definitely be back!“
“Ruslan was great. Every thing he recommended was good. I would definitely return. We ordered fried calamari , raw oysters on half shell, spring rolls, cream of crab ,fried shrimp , fried crab cake , french fries, fried fish , Mac and cheese , mahi with asparagus, the ultimate crab cake with mashed potatoes was extremely deliciousKid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment. I had a 5 month old, 9 year old and a 10 year old .“
“Food was delicious but menu is small (-1 star for food) especially if you aren't big into seafood (consider for larger parties). We had a party of 20 which requires a per-pwraon minimum of $80 and a paid deposit. This irked me (-1 star for service). When we were there tho, tho waitstaff were 10/10 excellent. And the atmosphere was perfect. A bit more pricey than the atmosphere commands but not by too much. Would recommend for sure.side note: it's a long walk down the pier. If you take an Uber it's ok for them to go in the gate (pick ups and drop offs are free)“
“Love them. very good seafood and oysters but the last several times I haven't been able to sit out on the outside deck when it was clearly open. Also our drinks the other day were very weak. That's the first time ever. For the amount of money that we spend on drinks, they should have more alcohol. overall they're great!“
“Great panoramic views here to go with some scrumptious cocktails. Staff was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Appetizers and entrees were what one would expect for the price and nicely presented. Mushroom soup appetizer and the lobster with squid ink pasta entree, along with the seabass, were underwhelming. The ricotta appetizer, along with duck and short ribs entrees was delicious.“
“We had a large dinner party at Gunther and Co and the consensus of the group was that we would all be back. The food was so delicious! Even the simple dishes were done so well. We ordered the pork chop and the halibut, but everyone got something different. The apps and cocktails were also well crafted and delicious. And our server took our app and dinner orders at the same time to make sure everything came out in a timely manner. There was a never a moment where we were wondering where the food was. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and the drinks and was so kind. This place was immaculate from start to finish and we can’t wait to go back!“
“Prices here have become very high for a chain pasta place. Chicken dishes at Outback, their sister restaurant, are $15 and here chicken dishes are now outrageous at $22-25 dollars for smaller portions. Spent more for soup and salad at dinner for 5 small shrimp than I would have paid for an excellent filet at Texas Roadhouse with a ton of leftovers. Used to be a favorite place of mine, but with gluten allergies and huge price increases these past 2 years find it difficult to frequent. Above average food for a chain at fine dining prices. No longer a good value.Dietary restrictions: Staff accommodating and somewhat familiar with food allergies.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible.“
“La Tavola has been one of our favorite Italian restaurants for several years. We always considered it somewhat of a secret place, as it didn't get the visibility of some of the more well-known restaurants in Little Italy. The menu was many of the Classics, but with their Venetian influence, there was a lot of great seafood dishes, such as fish baked in a puff pastry. Everything I had there was excellent when I came to the rest of this time it was different. There was some music playing, which I can describe Best as something Italian contemporary. I got the beef carpaccio as a starter, which is one of my favorites. The beef was fine, but there was very little of the great shredded Parmesan, few capers, and instead of a huge pile of arugula. I also had the mushroom ravioli as my main, it was good, but not special. I overheard conversations and I soon realized that the restaurant had been sold six months earlier. It was not a bad experience, but I have to be honest and say it wasn't the same. I hope the new owners figure it out.“
“Hidden Gem in Locust Point! If you're looking for amazing seafood, look no further than L.P. Steamers. This neighborhood spot in Locust Point might be easy to miss, but it's worth seeking out. Their crabs are the star of the show - perfectly seasoned and cooked. The lobster and shellfish were also incredibly fresh and flavorful. And a special shout-out to those crab fries – the perfect side! I'll definitely be a regular here.“
“After driving by the restaurant for the past few years, my wife and I finally tried it tonight. Our overall thought was why we had yet to try it before. The food was delicious. The crab cake egg roll and crab cake stacker sandwich were awesome. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was spotless.“
“Went here for my bday and it was my friends first time here. My family loves this restaurant. Wish it was little more bday friendly though.Food was really good, my picky eater child also loved it. Price wasn't bad either. Will probably return sometime soon with my mom & sister.“
“Growing up my family owned a crab house (BEST SEAFOOD) on furnace branch rd. ,From the early 2000’s to the late. My parents had no qualms about exploiting child labor. I on the other hand had no problems sampling the product. I feel that that makes me a leading authority. I’ve e had them all big, small from MD to Louisiana and everywhere in between. After we sold, there’s only been one crab shack that gets my money. They use an exclusive blend of J.O. seasoning and they always have unbelievable prices, specifically on females (female crabs are superior in all ways) except maybe size. How’s that for an endorsement.“
“This is by far the best chicken and fish place in Baltimore. The fastest selling item is the macaroni and cheese. People are coming in and ordering just macaroni and cheese sometimes and they're ordering extra on the side with their meal. And the cabbage is to die for oh my god I don't know what he puts in the cabbage but it's great. If you're looking for a place to get some good soul food this is it!“
“First timer! Easy reservation process. Wasn't crowded at all. The crab egg rolls were very good. As well as the wings. I didn't order any drinks. I did, however, order the gumbo. To me, it was too salty and not enough rice. The entrée was plentiful. I had enough to take home. Super friendly staff that served my table. Food came out extremely fast. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. Parking can be sketchy but the restaurant was worth it. I'd go back to try another entrée and get some drinks.“
“Where to start with this gem?! First off....everything from the moment we stepped in the front door was on point. Host knew our name and had reserved table ready and waiting. Great intimate atmosphere in both bar and dining room. Cocktails were excellent....best Manhattan on this trip thus far. Menu is manageable and clearly based on fresh, in season components. From the Susan's Shrimp appetizer...to the Maryland Crab Soup, perfect starters. Then an entree of Maryland crab cakes with roasted Brussel sprouts and slaw, accompanied by in house tartar, well played pairing. The other “off menu” entree offering was pan grilled red snapper topped with lump crab and velvety beure blanc sauce with roasted root vegetables.....heaven! Finished off with a house grand marnier creme brûlée....NO words! Chef Akbar has outdone himself and still takes the time to check on his patrons table-side should you request, as I did. Do yourself a favor and book dinner here!!! #cheers“
“Wonderful customer service through the door! I from Philly, came to MD to visit a friend of mine. Everytime I'm in Maryland, I MUST bring crabs back with me! Well after searching through a few crab spots near Hanover, I settled on Crack and Juicy because their prices were super reasonable ($60/dz for medium males, and 3 crabs free!), but I'll be going back, not because of price but because the guy at the register and the guy cooking were so personable and friendly. The cook (I think he was the owner) gave me a free shrimp while I waited and added an extra 3 crabs in my bag! I'm in the restaurant industry, so I know good service and these guys got it!“
“At a tagliata, I recommend trying the classic Tagliata di Manzo, which is thinly sliced grilled beef typically served with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan shavings. It's a delicious and flavorful choice that showcases the quality of the meat. Enjoy your meal!“
“I have order 3 times. Always great service and great food. My food always still hot n packed nicely. Owner is so polite and generous. Always looking out those in need. My first order was love box after that another love box but with salmon. Tonight crab cake egg rolls they were delicious. Check him out no disappointments.“
“Came here in the summer and it is just what you could want from a seafood experience. The crab pretzel was melty, rich, and delicious, and the stuffed shrimp was fresh and full of flavor. Everyone was kind and lovely, and this is such a wonderful and warm place to sit down for lunch!! I just can't recommend enough. 1000% worth a stop!!“
“They aren't kidding when they say if you can only stop at one place for crabcakes while in Maryland try Faidley's.The crabcakes are massive and to my surprise pretty much entirely crab meat. Not a bread patty with a hint of crab. The side portions are generous and definitely shareable for smaller appetites. It is quick service cafeteria style. You run your foor tray along the railing, place your order, and leave your tray for them to set your food on. The system wasn't explained for first timers so I inadvertently walked off with the empty tray.I didn't try the raw oyster bar but there were many patrons gathered enjoying themselves. You can also buy fresh seafood or order menu items in bulk to take home. The macaroni and cheese was delicious and the steak fries were standard fair. The restaurant is small, seating is limited and fairly close quarters. The sloping of the floor may also make it difficult for patrons with mobility issues.Overall really enjoyed it and highly recommend as a treat if you're in the area.“
“Had a 70th birthday celebration for my wife there on March 30, 2024 with just under 40 people attending. Staff there was absolutely first class. The waitress Tianna handled us like an experienced professional. Food came out in a timely manner and was prepared perfect. They also allowed us to decorate prior to start of event. I love to see black owned businesses ran right with a good attitude staff. They are rare but this is one of them. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely consider them in the future.“
“The best crab cake I have ever had the pleasure to eat. The waitress was very informative, prompt and hospitable. We had made reservations, arrived at 6 and the place was empty. We ate and upon leaving I noticed there were still no other patrons in the restaurant.I love old gems like this place and hope this review brings about more foot traffic.“
“I'm a huge fan of Black Olive but tonight was disappointing. They no longer filet whole fish at table side or offer to tour the fish “market “ to select options. Even the lemon butter sauce is gone. Like every where these days prices are up and service is down.“
“What a great experience with amazingly fresh foods we had at Sal and Son's Seafood. Everything is so fresh, delicious, and exceptional! Owner and employees are very friendly as well! We came here twice during our short trip, and it made our experience in Maryland extra special . Highly recommend!!“
“I give Mo's Seafood a strong four-star rating. I almost gave it less because I was thinking more of the place than it really was.In my mind maybe I was comparing it to Jimmy's Famous Seafood which by far is on a totally different level. So I guess when I went into Mo's I was expecting a much better ambiance and upscale service but the reality is that Mo's is a dive bar; which is just fine. The place is small. The exterior is much larger so I don't know what all they have going on with the rest of the building. I'd love to see some upgrades. Bigger bathroom instead of the one stall. Some paint and better arrangement of pictures on the wall. Just a better ambiance altogether. They just kinda seem like they don't care as much anymore. They should be turning over many more tables than I seen NOT happening while we were there.Food was great! Healthy portions conducive to the pricing so, no dissapointment there.Staff was nice but a little uncouth and food was great! So I gave them 4 Stars!“
“We made reservations online in advance for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled by our experience! From the professional, friendly staff to the cozy, small bistro atmosphere down to the excellent food and cocktails - we really enjoyed our experience and will be back!“
“Visited Jimmy for the first time from out of state and had a great experience. Atmosphere was welcoming and my server Megan was so wonderful and gave such great recommendations on what she thought we would like. She honestly made my experience 10x better. I would definitely come back!“
“Was here 5 years ago and loved the seafood chowder so much that I had to come back on my 2nd visit to Baltimore. This time I had some of the best mussels ever (Beer Mussels, with chorizo, jumbo shrimp, in a delicious onion/tomato broth). Then had the Maryland Rockfish (crab stuffed rockfish with green beans, rice and beurre-blanc sauce) to die for. Hopefully it won’t take another 5 years to he back.“
“If you want delicious food, excellentprices and wonderful customer service then hop on down toCOSTA'S on North Point Rd. They go out of their way to make their customers happy. I now live in Timonium for the past 14 years but have never forgotten COSTAs. It is a wonderful restaurant and everything they serve is delicious. I think over the many years we have tasted everything on their menu. Thank you for always making your customers feel important. I am 84 and have eaten there many times over many years.“
“Excellent food and service. I will definitely go back here to try the other dishes. Really nice and quiet neighborhood. The chicken wings are really good. I like the old bay honey flavor. The mussels are fresh and delicious. It has a hint of spicy sausage. The shrimp taco was really good too. Everything we had was surprisingly really good.“
“Stumbled upon this place and I was so happy we stopped in!! Had fried shrimp platter, my mom had lake trout platter, and we took home crabs on the $2 crab special (bought 10). All of it was amazing. Take home crabs were fantastic. Will definitely stop in again when I'm in Baltimore. Everyone there was so nice.“
“Draven is the BEST server they have that is why in gave this place 5 stars. In my experience he is the only server that brings the food out hot. Handsdown he is their star server. Let me not forgot the bus guy... he is like a flash lighting you get up table clean covered and ready to take the next customer. I do not his name he young, African American dedicated to his job and shows extreme pride in what he does!!“
“The best crabs I've gotten in Maryland! The medium males are a great size and packed with meat not to mention the seasoning is amazing and just the right amount each time. I will never get crabs anywhere else and I always tell others Duck's Nest is a hidden gem!“
“Perfect family spot ?? ? Ive only been for breakfast, but I tear up the Alice's Cream Chipped Beef on biscuits that are still soft like a cloud. Omg and it's always busy but never takes too long to be seated or served. Also, FULL BAR?!?!?“
“This place was definitely worth the drive for the size crabs we received. We couldn’t even eat them all, they were huge. Probably the best crabs we’ve ever had.We know next time to just order crabs and nothing else LOL. It’s BYOB (didn’t realize this until after we were there). The establishment itself is not very big and tight. For the 2 of us our table was very small, we hardly had room for the food, crabs and drinks.“
“We went to Barracuda's for lunch following a visit to Ft. McHenry. My wife had the corn and crab fritter and I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. The fritters were fresh tasting, plenty of crab meat and slightly spicy. It was nicely fried and not greasy. The pulled pork was a bit sweet but not overpowering. Very tasty. The coleslaw was fresh and the chips were fried but not greasy at all. Limitless iced tea. The service was great and friendly. Clearly a neighborhood favoriteParking: Parked in a lot across the street that had a reserved sign but the server said that it was fine to park there“
“Jumbo lump crab fluff is the best tasting crab fluff I have ever eaten. Doesn’t have all that greasy batter like most have but this has a thin crispy covering and taste so good. Finally a food done to perfection.Oh they had a lot of great things but this has taken first place.“
“Food was great and the atmosphere made the night even more enjoyable. Expect to spend a lot but in my experience, the food was worth it. Our waitress did NOT provide us with 18% worth of gratuity (But policy gave it to her automatically). In fact, her service was sub standard. We have had much MUCH better service at our local diner back home. Other then her, everyone else was pleasent and attentive, and if it wasn't for that, our waitress alone wouldve reduced the stars from 4 to 3.“
“The crabs were excellent - extra large really were extra large - and generously seasoned but not too much so. My only complaint is I couldn't pay in advance over the phone so that someone else could pick up for me. Otherwise, the service was great. This is not our first time here and won't be our last!“
“I got crabs last Wednesday and they were great. Every crab had mustard and was delicious. The sizes were good and crabs were a great price. I would recommend Captain Jimmy's to everyone I know. Thank you for a great experience and your staff is wonderful as well. They are very nice, helpful and respectful.“
