It tastes like Spanish rice in a box and it isn't that great. On my second visit, I played it safe and ordered fries. Very satisfied. This place is much better than America's Best Wings next door in both quality and taste.“
“Ok now this is the greatest Chinese restaurant in the DMV area. I have lived in the DMV pretty much my entire life & have eaten at dozens of Chinese restaurants and I still say that Jacky Chans is the best. Been coming to this spot almost 20 years now & it is STILL top notch. The French Fries alone will tell you about the quality of food here. Make sure you get the chicken wings with french fries and add salt pepper & mumbo sauce on everything. This is the classic that everyone should start out with. A few of the other amazing things on the menu consists of Chicken Sandwich Jumbo Cheeseburger with bacon Steak & Cheese 10 piece nuggets General Tsos Chicken Beef & Broccoli & Hunan Shrimp Best Chinese restaurant, don't forget it“
“I've been going here for years and their food is consistently good. I'm a General Tso lover and they do it right. I also like their wings with Mumbo Sauce. These are whole Wings not half a wing and then they tell you that you got 10 pieces. When I order wings I order a 10-piece and they are full wings!“
“Went in last night and ordered the lo mein and orange chicken which was extra hot just how I like it. The owner is super friendly as I meant to use their discount card I had from last visit but had misplaced it, but since they remembered me, they gave me the discount anyway. Great food with fast and friendly service. Glad this place is close by to me as it’s convenient for me to run by and grab food after I get off work. Nice little spot to eat and relax if you’re in the oxon hill area and need a quick bite to eat.“
“I ordered delivery this evening and the food was great. I ordered shrimp fried rice, beef pepper steak, beef lo mein and they added a genral tso chicken because of the amount spent. That was a dish I had never tried until tonight and it was outstanding. I am giving 5 stars from my experience.“
“This spot on H St Corridor is hands down my favorite. The drinks, service, and food consistently impress. The ambiance is wonderfully moody with dim lighting and great background music. I always opt for the vegan version of the beef noodles, which are consistently flavorful and delicious. The bartenders are not only friendly but also knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations. I appreciate that they maintain an accessible archive of past menus, allowing guests to order from a wide range of drink options. Despite its small size and the place sometimes getting crowded, outdoor seating and an extra bar on the back patio provide additional space.“
“This is intelligent and well thought-out food that is delivered with kindness and engagement. Truffle dumplings with a corn foam were genius. Terrific vegetarian drunken noodles. And silken tofu in a complex fermented black-bean broth that made me see through time. My wife's cocktail had a tiny touch of a Chinese cough syrup in it, which sounds funky and was, instead, kinda transcendent! We sat at the bar and watched the passionate precision of the kitchen. “My family and I ate here twice, this past week, while on vacation. Our server, Jasmine was incredibly nice and attentive on both occasions. On top of that, almost everything we ordered was very delicious! The restaurant also has a kid’s menu (e.g. Mac & Cheese, chicken nuggets, etc.) that comes in very handy if your kids aren’t partial to Indian food yet :)“
“Authentic Yunnan cuisine. Fast service. Great options. Starters were excellent. Vegetarian options available pretty much for all the menu items. Cucumber roll starters and mushrooms were great. Mains portions are large enough to share. Another thing to note is that they provide corkage- so feel free to bring your own wine.“
