“After having an unpleasant experience at another restaurant in the area we came to Judy’s and this was meant to be! The service was amazing, our server Fidel was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. Fidel gave us really good recommendations. We ordered one tamarind margarita and one lemon margarita with mezcal, they both were delicious and fresh! For the food, we ordered pupusas revueltas and pupusas with cheese and beans! Best pupusas I ever tried! I’m definitely coming back! The service at this place is really great!SECOND VISITAfter a great experience at Judy’s last night, I wanted to come back to explore more the many and I’m glad I did! Fidel’s customer service was exceptional as the first time. This time I tried Bistec a la criolla, Judy’s combination and for dessert I had their 3 leches cake and their flan. Both were divide, I can recommend this place enough!THIRD VISITAMAZING! The Lomo Saltado and Burrito was incredible delicious! The margaritas were tasty! Loving this restaurant! ❤️ the customer service is 100 points! 10 out of 10!“

The soup goes exceptionally well with the pickled veggies and tortillas that it comes with along with a squeeze of lemon. An absolute must try if you like seafood soup!!! PS. “There’s street parking which you sometimes have to pay for but there might be a parking lot too. Just not sure. Service is great in a lively, comfortable setting. The food is even better. I tried this location partly because it’s closer to my home but also for a new experience. I was not disappointed. We went there for an early lunch and to beat the crowd. Chips and salsa were great. I had the chorizo con huevos which was delicious and so much I couldn’t finish it all. My wife had the mojarra frita with shrimps on top with a butter garlic sauce. She raved about it.“

“I had never been there before, and I just needed to go to the bathroom. I looked at the menu and ordered two burritos. I then left to go transact some business, left, and come back to get my order. The people were very nice and had my order ready when I returned. The bag they gave we was very big. I did eat there. When I got home there were two containers in the bag, and the burritos were so big it took me two days to eat them. The burritos were very good. I they added cucumber, and hit sauce and a green sauce I did recognize, but didn't eat. If I'm in the neighborhood in the future, I will stop by and order the same thing. The burritos were $12.00 each. It was a little pricey, but very good.“

“My 1st time eating here & overall...not bad.The food was good, location not. In a semi strip mall in the hood.I ordered a shrimp & chicken fajita over the phone & it was ready when I arrived. The lady was nice and I ordered a half tea/lemonade drink. The drink was watery and not sweet. They only give you 4 medium size shrimp, a small cup of black beans, & the Pico was the smallest portion I've ever seen (see photo), especially for the size platter. The Pico should've been the same size as the beans. You also get small extras of sour cream, a cheese, & a greenish garnish which I didn't use any of them.I stopped at Chipotle and got a Gauc, added bacon bits and it was a good lunch! (They don't have quac)I will return! With the drink it was about $17“

Sopa de Mariscos

“*CHEF'S KISS* Cozy and utilitarian ambiance, with a cute tiny bar, very friendly and attentive service. But THE FOOD though! I just stopped in because it was near my barber and I knew that I could satisfy my "2 meal hunger" for relatively cheap. Frankly and honestly, this was the best Honduran food I've ever tasted. I don't say that lightly, I have eaten A LOT of good Salvadoran and Honduran food since I moved to the area in 2007. I've even had homemade pupusas from mothers of my students on a regular basis. I'm normally not a fan of refried beans on my Tostadas or in fajitas, but they used just the right amount, & they were damn good. For once I feel they actually contributed to the taste of the Baleada and Catracha instead of taking away. The food was so good I have finally dedicated the names of these dishes to memory. in the past they never made a big impact flavor- wise, just kind of good, simple Central American home cooking classics. Everything here was absolutely cooked to perfection and the chef knows exactly what balance of ingredients and fillings are exceptionally delicious in texture and complimentary flavors . STANDOUTS: The Catracha & the Baleada: Baleada -- roughly translated - a Honduran (person). Here the tostada is a double fried corn tortilla with refried beans, and crumbled farmers cheese. I have never had a fried corn tostada so decadently crispy-fried. I literally said " oh my gawd" when I took my first bite. The Baleada was soft and pillowy on the inside and was just the right amount of pan-crisp on the outside. The avocado, beans, cheese, egg, and crema just complemented one another, nothing overwhelmed anything else in flavor or texture. Perfect balance.“

The food MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR THAT!! I went in craving tacos and I wasn't disappointed at all! They have "putacos" which is a glorious marriage of a pupusa and a taco, and they are heavenly!!!! “This is hands-down, the best Silvestre location in my opinion. I always call and order my food and it's always ready for pick up when I go. The service is phenomenal and so is the food. My go to order is a steak taco bowl. The steak is always very tender and well seasoned. The taco bowl is always overflowing and the amount of steak that you get for the price is amazing. Both the green and orange sauces, put all of the dishes over the top. I've also had their pupusa and tamales. I love a good pupusa and the curdito that comes with it is so fresh. The prices are great, and the food is amazing. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to go to when I don't wanna cook“
