“Best cupcakes ever. Rich, yet light. Aesthetically pleasing, as each cupcake is a work of art. I tend to be frugal, but I do not mind treating myself to Cake because it is worth it. The cupcakes are a great alternative to a standard cake when you are trying to please a crowd that has various flavor preferences. I brought a dozen to a farewell party and they were a complete hit! The flavors and textures are unique. Also, for every single holiday, they have special cupcakes in celebratory colors to appropriately commemorate each occasion. So far, my all-time favorite cupcake is coconut with a graham cracker crust. It's exciting to not know which flavors they will have on offer. I enjoy being surprised and trying them all! The cupcakes freeze well. However, I think the cupcakes taste best when they are fresh. I prefer to eat them immediately and for breakfast the next day. If Cake had a membership I would eat more Cake. So it is probably better that, to my knowledge, they do not.“

“Sarah made a half sheet cake for my son’s graduation party and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious! We ordered a lemon cake with raspberry filling and a buttercream icing and everyone at the party LOVED it! I gave her free reign on the decorations and she did a great job, especially free handing the college mascot. “This is my first time stopping here. It’s along the NCR trail, which is fantastic for walking or riding your bike. We stopped here to use the restroom while riding our bikes and noticed the Monkton hotel. They have a little café, so we got some food and a cup of coffee.The coffee had a good flavor (not weak) and my ham sandwich on toasted sour dough was great. Cute little place with a lot of history. “I took my son to the Easter egg hunt this past Saturday and he had a blast. There was plenty of different activities and also vendors to purchase items from. There was a food truck, face painting, balloon animals, and you can't forget the Farm store where there is plenty to pick from. There was a lot of people, but it wasn't terribly crowded. “Why is there never baked items in the showcase. You have to ask what do they have. I asked for a sweet potato pie. They go in the back to get it. It would be nice to see the choices of baked goods. Also, it's unnerving to have to ring the bell to come in when there is a person inside with a apron on just staring at you. BTW the sweet potato pie was amazing. My only complaint is there's rarely ever any snickerdoodle muffins. I've come a handful of times and 2 times were the only chance I was able to get my hands on one.
