“First time here, but it won't be my last time.The staff here is friendly and they know their regulars for sure and remember what they order which is awesome! It's a nicer looking deli and you can tell they took their time to make sure it looks great and is kept up. Ordered the Italian Cold Cut and fries. This hit the spot. Nothing fancy about it but it's exactly what you want. Ketchup in a plastic bottle just hits differently too! Can't wait to come back and try some other things! I've seen people order a few different items that all looked amazing.“

“I go out of my way to stop by here for lunch whenever I’m in Towson. The food is stellar, the prices are uncommonly reasonable, and the service is warm and genuine. The owner (who is generally behind the counter) very clearly cares about his craft/customers and it shows.“

“When I say in my opinion nothing tops the edmondson chicken boxes that’s what I mean, I grew up in edmondson village and since I can remember eating these chicken boxes and cheesesteak subs, I now live over east and still will drive west just to get my chicken box no caping. “Fantastic little place. Buddy of mine were in the area searching for food. This popped up in Yelp. Small row house in what appears to be a pretty nice part of town, an area with a lot of new stores and restaurants.No indoor seating, and only 3-4 chairs on their porch. Walk up to the window, order, wait, and then either leave and eat elsewhere or sit in a seat and watch cars go by.We ordered the Apollonia and Scooch. They are both great. We got them freshly-made, nice and warm, in just a few minutes.Highly recommended when you're in this part of town. Just be sure that you have somewhere to eat if their seats are full.“

“We stopped here based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. We had a panini, the meatball heel, and a slice of Smith Island cake. The food is authentic, delicious, and prepared to order. They have frozen meatballs, stuffed shells, pizza, etc from the kitchen to take home if you want. The dining area is nothing special but the food is absolutely worth a special trip.“

“I don't know where in the city you can get a better veggie omelet for $7.50, but this is good. Loaded with peppers, carrots, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms, it doesn't need cheese and comes with excellent home fries. I added hot sauce, a little s&p, ketchup and mambo sauce because why not.I suggest calling your order in 10-15 minutes ahead. They get very busy.“

They pay close attention to any notes you add to your online order, and they’re happy to accommodate any requested customizations within reason.Our favorite menu items are as follows: the Firecracker Sandwich (both beef and chicken options), Rachel Sandwich (good Rachels are hard to come by in the area!), Greek Salad (they are happy to add grilled chicken for a reasonable extra charge), Flounder Melt Sandwich (it looks basic and unassuming at first glance, but the sandwich is such an interesting and delicious combination of fish, onions, tangy tartar sauce and old bay - yum!), Chicken Salad Sub (get it with hots, trust me!), and the Homemade Mini Cheesecakes. “I been here many times for few years. Breakfast is delicious I always order the breakfast platter and the home fries w onion are to die for .I also tried the steak sub last time was real good too. I just won’t order w the Chinese guy cause he mess up my order before. I ate in before and they don’t have heater My food went cold real quick so is better order to go.“

I walked in once at lunch time and the line was out the door, so I learned my lesson and called ahead. Person on the phone didn't tell me how long or gave me a number, however, i figured 10-15 minutes would be reasonable. Partner picked it up and said it was fairly busy.I ordered the Virginian sandwich - grilled turkey, coleslaw, swiss, and thousand island dressing on rye, partner ordered an italian cold cut. Both sandwiches were about $20 total, which is a decent price for lunch nowadays! my sandwich was a solid 8/10, I would say my partner felt the same about his. It's a simple, well-made sandwich. Nothing more, nothing less. I would rate them a 4.5 if i could, simply because these sandwiches were nothing to write home about. But, nonetheless, we both got what we wanted, and for the price, portion, and convenience, I would simply feel prissy giving them anything less than a 5.“

It’s a small mom pop place so if you want five star cuisine don’t comment that you didn’t get it because they definitely give what they offer which is a tasty bite to eat at a minimal cost compared to others in the area. “Cub Hill Deli is under new ownership and after several name and proprietor changes over the years, it returns to one of its original names. There is adequate parking, and a few tables inside. At present the focus is on carryout with many delicious options ranging from salads to hoagies and other handhelds. Salads included a variety of vegetable and pasta options attractively displayed. Italian ready to eat entrees and homemade desserts round out the menu. I enjoyed one of the soups of the day, a rich, thick lentil. A big Greek Salad was crisp with plenty of feta and multicolored pepper slices. The eggplant salad was flavorful. The classic Italian cold cut hoagie was full of meats. The eggplant parmesan was a treat with tender thin eggplant and a tasty tomato sauce. It was difficult to chose just one dessert, but I was told about a unique almond tiramisu. It was creamy with great almond flavor. A great place to stop on the way home or get dishes and sides for a gathering at home.“

“Went once and returned the following week. Tried both breakfast and lunch. Enjoyed the pancakes and french toast. My sweetie enjoyed a cheese steak sub with fries. The order setup will take some getting use to. Friendly staff. Looking forward to returning to try something else.“
