“Awesome restaurant with a great selection of food. Atmosphere is nice as well. The food is amazing from the soups to pastries. Everything is mad from scratch I finally got to try a turkey club sandwich being that it's all turkey products. I also order the grilled salmon greens and yams. I tired the beans soup was phenomenal. My take home order was curry chicken salad 1/2lb, side of yams, mac n cheese. The sweetpotatie pie, bean pie & strawberry cheese cake was the desert taken home. This is a must try establishment very class service is amazing and heartfelt you can tell the food is cooked with love!!!! I'll be back“

“I had a great experience at Ilili restaurant we went to DC to watch the Black Crowes. we had no reservations. We went into the restaurant when they opened at 5 PM... the service and food were incredible. The ambience was wonderful. We were very underdressed, but Treated as though we were wearing our finest. I feel like the waiter, the sommelier, and everyone else under the sun at one point came to the table to offer us wine lol so if you like wine, I think this might be a great place for you as well. i'm writing the review because it was one of the best dinners we've had in many years. I had no idea that you could turn a carrot into something so damn delicious. If you don't believe me, I dare you order those carrots they're gonna blow your mind. I can't stop telling everyone about them, I might even ask the chef for the recipe that's how good those carrots were. make a reservation go to the restaurant.“

“This is a place is awesome. I ordered samosa and a lamb gyro. I have never been asked if I wanted my gyro spicy. But I was, and I must say this was the best gyro I have ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious also loved the samosas!!!! I will be back for more menu items“

However, portions are quite small for the price (and seemed to have shrunk, along with an increase in $ over the last year or two) so wouldn’t say it’s good value for money, especially when compared to other comparable Indian restaurants in the DMV.“

“I can honestly say that I am blown away! Sister Abeer was so hospitable and quick on her feet. She prepared our order within minutes! I got the burger and fries combo and it was such a treat! Definitely the best tasting beef burger that I’ve had! I wish I lived closer to Lanham so I could visit it more often (I would definitely be a regular if I did lol). “Bantam King is my go-to spot for a great meal when in downtown DC. I lived right by here for 2 years, and every time I went to Bantam King, I had a fantastic meal.I've eaten a ton of fried chicken in my life all over the US, and a decent amount across DC. I can absolutely say that their fried chicken platter is some of the best fried chicken I've ever eaten. I've also had the chicken ramen. Both my wife, who is a huge ramen lover, and I think it's fantastic.I also enjoy the mint sweet tea, and the desserts are really good as well.
