“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Red Barn is hands-down the most family-friendly spot around! I have two little ones (ages 2 and 4), and it’s the first place I’ve truly felt welcomed as a parent. The staff are so kind, the food is delicious and comes out fast (a lifesaver with toddlers!), and the prices are super reasonable; perfect for a mama on a budget. You can tell they genuinely care about families and the community. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a meal, it’s always a positive, supportive, kid-friendly experience. “Delicious food, fresh, perfectly prepared. Level 1 has just a tad of heat, if you want more you probably should order level 3 or 4. Almost every dish can be served vegetarian. I'm not sure about vegan but I bet it'd be doable as the staff is super friendly. My daughter and I have been ordering the same meals for years: veggie pad thai and veggie drunken noodles. We prefer extra veggies rather than tofu. I always add extra mushrooms. Crab rangoons are fresh and flavorful as well.”

“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! Keep up the great work!”

“Made a reservation here because we liked the idea of a 4 course tasting menu and trying new things. It was nice enough inside but could've looked better with tablecloths and better centerpieces. Not leaving the door to the supply closet open the whole time would've helped atmosphere too. Also, having the bar so close to the table with the server standing at it most of the time, made us feel like we had to whisper to have a private conversation or discuss the food. Server was nice enough but would represent the caliber of the menu better if she dressed in something other than jeans and a tshirt. Also, she forgot our silverware until the second course, when we asked. Food itself was a mix of OK and LOVE, no hate. Some things were absolutely amazing , while others were cooked well but slightly overseasoned. Can't really rate this place on the food though because they do a different menu every day! I would still love to try this place again and give it another shot, just not for a special occasion again, since it was too informal feeling for that.”

This is a local business that seriously and genuinely invests in its community and THAT is why it will be here for a really long time. “Worth a stop! My partner and I stopped here for wraps on a Saturday afternoon. I got the Teriyaki No Sake and he got the Russ-Ian-Out. Both were great! And the coffee was good, too! Whoever was working (on 4/6 at 2pm) deserves a big ol’ raise, though. She was running the front and back of the house by herself during a rush really wonderfully.”

“I went here today with my husband and best friend. the place was very clean, and the food was AMAZING! The falor of my soup was very good, garlic bits in the broth of the soup. The pork belly had a nice crunch, the veggies were all cooked well not slimy or mushy. and the food robots were super cool, will 100% be coming back”

“Otto’s on the River was a true foodie experience. Our table of 5 ordered a few apps and entrees from steak to seafood to vegetarian. The table was very quiet once we started eating our meals. This was due to mouthfuls and chewing and sipping delicious cocktails and cold beers! Great wait staff and attention to detail. Nice atmosphere- relaxed, unhurried…highly recommend.”

“Been a fan for 25+ years and only get a chance to eat there once a year due to living in northern Maine. Always pleasant staff but for some reason today when I asked my wife to stop in and grab me a Big Dave she also got herself an Italian. After paying she saw the Italian special to add a bag of chips and a soda and asked if she could pay the extra and get that and was told no because she had lettuce on her sandwich and that lettuce disqualified the lunch special. Sad that lettuce disqualifies a special but was told no other veggies disqualified it??? Sounds more like someone didn’t want to be bothered and was willing to pay the difference… just .59 cents. Got to do better”

Our pizza got sent to someone else (or they atleast got served long before us when they sat much after us) She was able to fix the whole situation and was very attentive ( as their oven shuts down from 3-4) we were worried we wouldnt get a pizza again in time. “Visited the Countryside Diner tonight for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing! The steak tip meal was hands down top tier! The steak melts in your mouth as well as the mashed potatos! My bf said his haddock basket was delicious and perfectly fried! They have Great portions as well! They also have a bakery section full of yummy goodies that are just as amazing! The owner was very nice and made the experience even more delightful! I highly recommend this restaurant! It's comfort food at it best! We will definitely be going back!”

“We do not recommend dinning in here as in our experience the service is far from good.. however the food was great! We will definitely order take out in the future but will not be returning to dine in. The server didn’t understand what my husband ordered (even though it was a beef enchilada) so he just put it in as a taco salad. So by the time he recieved the correct meal the rest of our party had already finished eating. The server didn’t ask if anyone would like a refill or another cocktail.”

The service was exceptional, and every staff member we interacted with was so kind, professional, and attentive. The entire day ran seamlessly thanks to their incredible team — they truly went above and beyond to make our day so special. “I had surgery in my throat before going here... Not even 3 hours before. The first thing I wanted was the best sherbet I could find. Thankfully cloud 9 provided the best! And they weren't kidding. It was some of the best that I've ever had. Thank you very much Cloud Nine by changing a bad day into a good one!”
