“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! Keep up the great work!”

With multiple guests raving about the pesto chicken, mashed potatoes and Korean beef. And their grilled oysters!?!…the Texans who’d never tried oysters loved them! “Great bagels and extras. A little harder than Sunrise but I prefer sometimes. I did like the larger tables in the front but they did take up a lot of room. They took out the gas fireplace/stove which I liked.”

“I went here today with my husband and best friend. the place was very clean, and the food was AMAZING! The falor of my soup was very good, garlic bits in the broth of the soup. The pork belly had a nice crunch, the veggies were all cooked well not slimy or mushy. and the food robots were super cool, will 100% be coming back”

“We celebrated my daughter’s 18th birthday here twice (due to a scheduling error on our part), on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th. Friday we had 12 people and Saturday we had 9. We had hibachi both times. We were seated quickly, and from then on the service was fast and friendly. The hibachi chef was fun and entertaining both times and the food was delicious both times. They even gave my daughter a balloon birthday crown and some free fried ice cream! Big thanks to the folks at Kume for helping make my daughter’s birthday memorable (twice)!!”

“Otto’s on the River was a true foodie experience. Our table of 5 ordered a few apps and entrees from steak to seafood to vegetarian. The table was very quiet once we started eating our meals. This was due to mouthfuls and chewing and sipping delicious cocktails and cold beers! Great wait staff and attention to detail. Nice atmosphere- relaxed, unhurried…highly recommend.”

Our pizza got sent to someone else (or they atleast got served long before us when they sat much after us) She was able to fix the whole situation and was very attentive ( as their oven shuts down from 3-4) we were worried we wouldnt get a pizza again in time. But she made it happen. Thank you Morgan.”

“Been a fan for 25+ years and only get a chance to eat there once a year due to living in northern Maine. Always pleasant staff but for some reason today when I asked my wife to stop in and grab me a Big Dave she also got herself an Italian. After paying she saw the Italian special to add a bag of chips and a soda and asked if she could pay the extra and get that and was told no because she had lettuce on her sandwich and that lettuce disqualified the lunch special. Sad that lettuce disqualifies a special but was told no other veggies disqualified it??? Sounds more like someone didn’t want to be bothered and was willing to pay the difference… just .59 cents. Got to do better”

“We do not recommend dinning in here as in our experience the service is far from good.. however the food was great! We will definitely order take out in the future but will not be returning to dine in. The server didn’t understand what my husband ordered (even though it was a beef enchilada) so he just put it in as a taco salad. So by the time he recieved the correct meal the rest of our party had already finished eating. The server didn’t ask if anyone would like a refill or another cocktail.”

“You can't beat Olive Garden never ending salad and bread sticks with any meal. They also offer small portion options on some of their meals which were the perfect amount written the salad and bread sticks. St st the bar, no wait. Bar tender was exceptionally nice and attentive! Not the best Italian food available, but consistently good for the price. Very enjoyable!”

“I like the Hannfords on Cony, I always shop there. It is right nearby and convenient. Yesterday I stopped in on my way home from my Chiropractor to pick up some vegetables. As I was pushing my cart, I slipped on a puddle of water in the produce dept. There were a couple guys working there chitchatting away who must not have seen the puddle. Luckily, there were 3 Ladies who grabbed me as I was going down. They yelled at the guys about the puddle and told me I should report them. I didn't report them, but I probably should have. Interesting though, the 3 Ladies were unmasked, while I still wear mine due to having a compromised family member. They did not hesitate to help me. After the last year of dealing with Covid fears, It was nice to have real human contact. I was very impressed with the way Hannaford's handled the safety of their employees as well as their customers. It is a bit unsettling to not see hand sanitizer etc. and some employees with no masks, etc. Guess it will take time to settle back into the "New Normal"...”

“Amazing food and service. I go here often for date night with my partner. Quick service, and I only had to wait for a table once out of all my visits. It's a calmer atmosphere but not dead silent. All the waiters and waitresses are nice and quick to bring out food. The steak is definitely the best part!”
