“We love it here so much. One of our favorite places to stop when we visit Maine. This time we came in February with the toddler and dog, sat outside under heated lamps with no one else around. We were sooo warm and it was 30 degrees! It was a full house inside for trivia. Pizza and salad came up incredibly fast and was to die for. It’s my husbands favorite beer. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. They literally know how to do it all.”

“I went recently for Sunday Brunch with a group of 6. We had reservations and they sat us immediately upon arrival. We were sat in the outside seating area which was nice and cozy. Despite it being winter, they have the outdoor area tented off with multiple outdoor heaters. It's nice because it's bright and the daylight comes through. The food didn't blow me away, it was really good, but not mind blowing. I'd definitely return if invited but wouldn't drive out of my way to get brunch. I had the French toast with blueberry compote and it was ok. We received the Sweater Weather drink (in error) and it was probably the best tasting thing on the menu! I highly recommend it. The coffee gets 10 stars. One of the most delicious cups of coffee I've had in a long time.”

“A fine small cafe, perfect for an early morning breakfast or lunch with friends. My daughter and I had a relaxed meal here in a sunny window table. I enjoyed a Cubano sandwich on baguette, a bit spicy but delicious. Plenty of choices for food and drinks. Very pleasant young woman at the counter. Clean restroom.”

Not only did they modify their menu to adapt to my allergies but they also have a dedicated no nut blender, and made sure to wash their hands before and after!The smoothie was one of the best I've ever had and the staff (owner?) We visited during the winter and had the most wonderful dining experience, so much so that we are already planning our next visit for the summer. I can’t wait to sit outside and enjoy everything this place has to offer.Located inside LongWoods preserve, with miles of trails and even a farm, Wander is all about sustainability, local ingredients, and an authentic farm-to-table experience. From the moment we drove into the preserve, the beautiful exterior of the restaurant took us aback. You can tell that much thought and energy went into this project. It was love at first sight as soon as we walked inside for dinner. The dimly lit ambiance, the decor, the vintage photos hung around, the bar… it was all perfect! It was barn meets fine dining without it being too pretentious.Sharing plates is the way to go at Wander! We started with the Tagliatelle (lamb, fennel, leek, parmesan), and I am still thinking about it. It was the perfect pasta, one of the best I’ve ever had. We tried their wood-fired pizzas as well — which was risky because my partner doesn’t even like thin-style pizza too much — but he loved theirs. We had the Terrace (red base, organic tomatoes, mozzarella, sweet Italian sausage, hot cherry peppers, shallots) and the Grandma (white base, mozzarella, parmesan, pecorino, San Marzano tomatoes, basil, parsley) and both were incredible. The grandma was herby, with lots of parsley and a lemony taste, while the terrace was spicy, so avoid it if you don’t like it hot!We accompanied our dinner with a bottle of Bordeaux, which was just delicious. It was the perfect pairing for our pasta and pizza. My one constructive suggestion for Wander is to expand their wine list in terms of prices! The cheapest bottle on the menu was around $45-50. That felt a bit odd, given that the pizza and the rest of the menu are priced reasonably.Moving onto desserts… I think this was the highlight of the night. The banana bread pudding was to die for! I’ve never tried such good banana bread pudding. The vanilla cheesecake was also quite yummy. It was hard to pick a favorite, but I’ll have to go with the banana bread. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest!Wander: thank you for a fantastic dinner experience.”

“Awesome experience at the Freeport Oyster Bar tonight! The bar tender, Sarah, was great at making sure we had everything we needed. We tried a bunch of the “Share” items. The menu was well curated from local vendors and we had a ton of fun with this menu. Get a bunch of oysters, drink some local beer, and eat local food! We will be back!”

“BEST ONION RINGS!I love onion rings and think Harmon’s serves the best in Cumberland County. Their burgers are good, too, but I’d definitely order the double patty. Take out only. Picnic tables on site.Kid-friendliness: A great family spot because it’s inexpensive, and they offer food the whole family loves!”

“We stopped by for the first time and had a delicious lunch! The turkey red pepper wrap (with delicious sauce!) was so tasty, satisfying and filling! The sides were just as delicious (the dill pasta salad?! Incredible.)! We also took home a sourdough baguette and it was gone before we even started dinner! We will definitely be back and we can’t wait to try the other items! :)”

“This was my first visit . It's a nice clean restaurant and seafood market that doesn't smell like one. The employees are friendly and helpful . Before visiting I did call because I was unsure if they had a place to eat in . My guest had coffee and they said it was great ! We both ordered combination plates of haddock and scallops with onion rings . We were served ice water when we were sat. That was nice . They had premium quality napkins and plastic cutlery . The haddock was amazing ! Along with the onion rings ! Perfect ! The scallops were huge ! But very wet so they were not crispy . I asked . So I was hoping to get bacon wrapped scallops or a lobster dinner which was not on the menu . They do sell live lobsters in tanks . Although the breading didn't have much flavor the oil they used tasted very clean . No after taste . We ordered a cup of seafood chowder to try but we're too full. Would liked to have seen more onion rings for the up charge as they were delish ! I will be back for sure ! Next time I'll try the steamed lobster dinner or the Maine man lobster roll ! Blueberry habanero sauce ! Yum ! Ps I'd prefer tartar sauce in individual cups instead of large squeeze bottles used over and over. On table room temp then in fridge then out and in . Mayo spoils . That would probably be the biggest complaint and other places do it as well. My guest said the pickles were good !”

“I love the people, atmosphere, menu, and beer here. Top 3 Greater Portland breweries in my book. Half pours (8oz) make it easy to sample the goods. Afternoons are so chill for meeting friends and the kids, playing a game or two and just kicking back. My 14 year old said "This is the kind of food that makes you want to ignore your brain telling you that your stomach is full so you can keep eating".”

Ordered: duck wings: small portion for the price but they were indeed fall of the bone tender, crispy, and smothered in a sweet and savory sauce beef poutine: the cheese curds had melted into puddles but the side ate like a hearty meal, good portion of beef, though fries were just okay double cheeseburger: piled high and juicy but again, just okay Overall I'll still be back supporting the restaurant that has served me some of the best bites of food, but I'll be focused more on their duck or special new items. “Never had frozen custard before. It was so good! We found it as we were driving through. My kids got the traditional flavor of vanilla and chocolate and I got maple blueberry. It was very yummy! And the portions are big! They had many traditional and also unique flavor choices. Will definitely give your kids that sugar high!”
