Based on the reviews, it is clear that some people don't know a good bourbon bar. Noah, the owner, is so accommodating and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is perfect for those who truly want to relax and enjoy a good drink. We wish we had a bourbon bar like this in Pennsylvania.
My husband and I used to frequent Timber alot back when Henry was the Bartender. He made a very good drink. Our Old Fashioned was so extremely sweet I almost could not drink it. There were so many things wrong with the meal. The rolls are so sweet, nothing you would expect in a fine dining establishment, and with the amount of great bake shops with awesome bread in Portland it would not be hard to find an exceptional bread offering. Truly delightful. Friendly and knowledgeable bartenders who make great cocktails, and a really wonderful atmosphere. We loved it and wanted to bring the whole thing home so we could go anytime! It's a perfect place to just relax and enjoy a really great drink.
