We went for valentines dinner last night, our first time at Union.We were told that the restaurant was being renovated and it was moved temporarily into the Lobby of the Hotel. We had dinner reservations before a show at the Merrill. Traffic suggested we would be late. I called to let them know and the woman on the phone, perhaps a recent immigrant, couldn’t have been kinder or more reassuring! We arrived to find the dining room was being refurbished and the lobby had been transformed into the dining area. An additional distance from the kitchen, the wait staff was HUSTLING!
