“The folks who run this place are always working hard & taking phone orders, but service is still fast and food is excellent and reasonably priced. I think if this place as a to go spot- although there are a couple places you can sit inside. The only negative I can even think of is that if you order a drink without ice, you get half a drink- but other than this- this place is perfect!Dietary restrictions: I believe they offer vegan mayo- they were able to answer questions I had about allergy safety and accommodate for my allergy. I come here often and trust the folks who work here!“

“How have I driven by this place without stopping for YEARS? Today my wife and I stopped in for a couple of tofu bahn mis and they were fantastic. Fresh vegetables on lovely, crispy bread with an outstanding, flavorful sauce. The thai tea was superb as well, and super friendly service. We will be regulars from now on; great prices too.Vegetarian options: They seem to have a tofu version of every dish. Only tried the bahn mi and it was fire.Parking: Lot can be a bit tight, but we found a spot quickly.“

“This was a takeout order, first time trying this restaurant and we were thrilled to find a place we are eager to try again. We has a Saigon egg roll, steamed dumplings, Vietnamese noodles with pork, sweet n sour chicken and curry chicken. Everything was fresh and flavorful and veggies were the right crispness even after traveling home with our order, yay. We were especially impressed with the curry chicken—the sauce was perfect in taste and texture. Looking forward to trying more of what’s on the menu.“

“We are visiting from the Boston area. I was nervous trying a new pho place but I will say this place was delicious! The broth is rich, sweet, and full of flavor. My kids ate all their food. My wife and I got the spicy beef and chicken pho and the flavor of the broth was on another level. Please try it out! The waiter came by and asked us how we are enjoying it and also wanted to meet our kids. The service was personal and sincere! Thank you guys for the meal!“

“We had lunch here. Food was great! The scallop small plate was well seasoned and delicious! Sushi was also good. The miso soup tasted a little interesting but good. They are open for dine-in but stated we had to order at the counter than eat at the table without waiter. I saw only one person working and we were only ones there. She was kind enough to come by and take our orders at the table.“

“I have been to Veranda's noodle bar multiple times and I had to leave a review of this place. I've been to other spots that have Pho in Portland, but Veranda's by far has the best Pho in Portland that I've had! The environment is also very quaint and almost has a homey feel to it. It's a small restaurant inside but personally I like it this way! Service is always amazing and they can help you with packing up the Pho to take home if you'd like. Steak & Flank Pho (4 out of 5) - the broth is flavorful and perfect! They also provide plenty of sides for the Pho (mint, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños) if you choose to add them or not. The Pho has a good portion with plenty of meat. Overall, it's a great spot that I will come to again in the foreseeable future!“

“The food was OK. As for the service, we sat there for about 15 minutes then asked the girl who sat us “who are we supposed to order from?” and she acted completely annoyed and inconvenienced that we even bothered her away from her iPhone. There was nobody else in the place, we could see it was the owner’s daughter, and she was probably barely even a teenager with zero experience. And obviously had no interest in even being there. That’s not so much on her as it is on the owner. We know it’s tough to find help in this industry, but Dad’s got to do better than that. If you have nobody to work the FOH then close the dining room and just put a sign up that says “carryout only this evening”. The absolute worst service we’ve had in a very long time.“
